In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Natalie Beacom=Problem Buyer...

I wonder if Forgotten Friends knows that NataLIE copy/pasted their Code of Ethics?

I have read this thread as it has gone on, but stayed out for many reasons. THIS really got me good, because I work with Forgotten Friend through my show, have adopted from FF, and know what Jesse is about through his rescue.
I have emailed him about this, and sent him a link to the thread. Hopefully things will straighten out with this girl, but when someone tries to rip off something as incredible as FF's Code of Ethics and use it as their own to do what she is doing REALLY pisses me off.
Natalie, if you can't do things ON YOUR OWN, do NOT rip off information from a VERY reputable organization like FF. Those of us who support them will NOT stand for it.

You're just a scammer, Natalie. It'll come back around ten-fold real soon.

well see about that...your not to far from me...since your local why not come take a tour...ill show you what its all about....face to face...bring your cam to show the people on here....

I got a fellow herp friend in Missouri who would probably to take you up on that offer. Where in the state do you live? PM me and I'll let her know.

Well, the "Code of Ethics" page she copied from Forgotten Friends was removed. I have already received a response from Jesse, and am hoping to have permission to put up the emails we have exchanged, as well as the email he received from Natalie when he asked her to remove the page. Quite childish and exactly what I expect coming from a blatant plagiarizer and scammer...

But, did anyone read her "Our Mission" page...Check out the bold statement...(my comments are in red)

I have attached a screenshot, as well as the link to the page, and have even copied it for everyone. Notice the stupid butterflies running around the page? Those things follow you EVERYWHERE when reading, which makes it REAL nice, doesn't it??

Our Mission

Why do you do this?

Because there is a need. And where there is a need, there has to be someone willing to give everything they have to make sure this need is taken care of. Our entire family loves these little guys! We want to make sure every reptile gets a great home that they deserve. To our knowledge, there isn't any reputable reptile rescue facilities and exotics in our county. So we decided to "pick up the slack" so to speak. But yet she can copy the Code of Ethics FROM one of the most reputable rescues in the country...

untitled-1.jpg

the offer was not to you...

That might seem as though you are only willing to let a certain person come by so you can get hold of them.
Why not allow any interested party come by and take photos? Do you have something to hide?

No kidding. I don't feel safe venturing into her house alone.. yikes!

BTW, she is located in Springfield, MO. Since she claims to be a rescue, it is perfectly fine to make her address public. If anyone wants to take visit her, I have it.

Word. Yeah, Natalie...why can't just my friend come by there with her camera? If you have nothing to hide, why be discriminating?

Why Addie over us? She is just as skeptical of your practices as I am.

Oh and Addie, I PMed you for the address.

She probably wants to stuff me in a 20 gallon with a heating pad and some lava rock.

I just received permission from Jesse to post our exchange of emails, so here they are. Please note the response date of Natalie's emails to Jesse - today at 12:57pm. So the page was JUST removed....

This reads kind of strange...

The first set of emails are the ones exchanged by Jesse and Natalie. The second set are the ones exchanged by Jesse and myself. I have removed the duplicates of the exchange between Jesse and Natalie in the ones he sent to me, just for better reading.

Natalie,
There's no need to be insulting about this. We mean you no ill will by asking you to remove plagiarized web content from your site. Our server records/site backups show when our policies went online, so there is no question who originally wrote the policies, and who plagiarized them. Thank you for removing them from your site.

Our rescue is not active on Fauna and we are not connected with their moderators/leadership. We were contacted about your plagiarized material by a third party who was concerned for our rescue. Had you contacted us originally about using our policies as a template for your own, we would have been glad to discuss options with you.

If your rescue is legitimate, we wish you the best in your endeavors. If you have commercial intentions, just call yourself a dealer who takes in unwanted reptiles, and it will remove the undesired scrutiny you've attracted by calling yourself a rescue. We have a local pet store that takes in many unwanted pet reptiles and resells them, and they have a positive reputation because they don't claim to be a rescue. Rescues and dealers can work together, but if you're being misleading about intentions it does not benefit anyone.

Thanks for your time and cooperation. We wish you the best in your endeavors.

Hello,

We were recently notified that our "Policies" link (http://forgottenfriend.org/policies.php) has been duplicated by your website (http://noahsarcreptilerescue.webs.com/noahsarccodeofethics.htm). Please be aware that plagiarism, even on the internet, is copyright infringement, is considered intellectual theft, and as so it is illegal. Although we are glad to work with other rescues, you did not ask permission to duplicate our website content, and therefor we must kindly ask you to remove or re-write your code of ethics to avoid copyright infringement violations.

The last thing we want to do is pursue criminal charges against other rescues that share our goals, but I hope you understand our conflict here. We must protect the intellectual property on our website in the same way we protect the rest of our property here at the rescue. Thanks for your understanding and good luck with your rescue.

Sure feel free to post our exchange. I BCCed you and the other Kelly on my last response to her so you can post that as well, if you want.

Jesse,

I am not surprised at her response at all. I just checked, and it does look like the page was removed.
Sounds stupid, but do I have your permission to post this exchange on the BOI? I think, if anything, it would bring even more out about her credibility. Although she has already proven herself to be a big-time scammer, I think people need to see her response to you. If not, that is cool, I just thought it might be good for people to see.
See you soon!

Hi Kelly,
Thanks for the email. Another Kelly from Fauna also emailed me a few days ago about this, so I sent an email asking them to kindly remove or rewrite their code of ethics page, since it was copied without permission (and they did not sound like the kind of organization Forgotten Friend wanted to be associated with). I would gladly let other rescues use some of our stuff as a template (as some groups have done for us) but blatant copyright violations by shady groups is not something I want to condone. You can see the email we sent them (and their childish response) below.

Thanks for the heads up and we'll see you in January! Have a great Christmas :)

Jesse

Hey Jesse, how are you?
I have been reading a thread on Fauna's BOI, and it appears that you may have already gotten an email, but apparently there is someone claiming to be a rescue that has "stolen" your "Code of Ethics" page onto their website. I just wanted to make sure you were aware, just in case it means anything to you. The girl doing this so-called rescue looks to actually be taking in animals then flipping/SELLING them rather quickly. Here is a link to the thread, just in case you don't have it.

Hope things are good on your end! I will email you soon about the show, things are looking good! Talk to you soon!

These would be added to the "top" of the list of emails between Jesse and I...

I told the other Kelly I am thankful for vigilant people like you who keep tabs on these kinds of creeps. Not only are we short on the time to do it, but we also would have a conflict of interest if we are complaining about another rescue (since it's kinda like we are "competing" with them). If they wrote me back and apologized I would have offered to let them use it as a template but to please at least re-write some of it. But with that kind of response of course it's obvious what kind of people they are and what kind of intentions they truly have. It is getting to be that new rescues cannot have a good reputation for several years, since there are so many fly-by-night groups that come and go like this. I think the fact that we have been here for five years and are 501(c)(3) are the two main things that help our reputation.
Thanks again,
Jesse

Thanks, Jesse. I just think people need to see what she is about. She has a thing on her mission statement page about how there are no other reputable reptile rescues in the country that she knows about, but yet she can copy your code of ethics...funny, isn't it? I guess this one got under my skin as soon as I saw that she was using YOUR information. I respect what you guys do so much, and am so glad to do what I can to support you guys, so when I see something like that, my blood boils!!
I did get the email you sent her. Hopefully this girl can get herself straight and do something good.

Natalie really doesn't get that you can find ANYTHING over the internet.. including proof that she copied.

oh and my dearest Addie P can't forget you can I? lol.. the adoption fee for the ball pythons are free.. i got them in for free they will be adopted out for free (to approved homes) after the vet says they are 100% healthy..

I am becoming jaded. Reading all these claims and seeing no real proof. Could you post images of a few of the more current Vet reports?

I doubt if i would be able to run a rescue if I had to pay Vet bills for all the animals that came in (even if they were free) if I were giving them away free too.

you can find anything...yep...and dont worry i got the info i need ....you people passing around my address...go ahead...come over...the cops wont be long behind....anyone steps foot on my property i will press charges...you people have no life....get over it....yes i deleted the code of ethics because it was asked to be done..although there is no proof i copied it..it dont matter to me....

Oh and Addie...its not a 20g tank we have for you...its a 10 gallon..would not want to give you much room to squirm

yes i deleted the code of ethics because it was asked to be done..although there is no proof i copied it..it dont matter to me....

Natalie,

If you didn't copy it, why bother removing the page if were asked by someone else to do it? No proof, that is not true. Jesse and crew have their original information of when it was put up, and it can be found quite easily by anyone with knowledge of the net on when you posted it....
The fact that you don't seem to care about ANYTHING that would make yourself look better and to better your rescue is probably your biggest problem, and will remain so if you keep up with that attitude.

the offer was not to you...

I'm not really sure why you think anyone needs to be invited. You claim to have permits to run a legal business/establishment. I'd visit your business every opportunity I got. I stand outside with a HUGE sign and a handful of fliers to distribute - notifying all of your neighbors and passerby's how you are running an illegal non-profit rescue organization.

How long do you think it would be before that crazy cat lady down the road from you started making calls all over the place - concerned that one of your larger pythons could escape and possibly swallow one of her cats? Or maybe an alligator getting loose, finding its way into a kiddie pool at a neighbors house?

Or just any non-native reptiles making escape and interbreeding with or causing habitat destruction to native wildlife? Betcha never thought of that one!

Lots of legitimate concerns to address, NataLIE.

I think the big issue for some would be safety, proper housing, contingency plans for escapes. According to you you've got a big nasty 10 foot python, dontcha? Some people might be concerned about that big guy escaping. Especially so when they come to know exactly how irresponsible you truly are. Especially so when they become aware that you house these animals in inappropriate caging and also house them inappropriately in closets.

Maybe you hide your animals intentionally in closets. Maybe so that way what the neighbors cant see they cant have an issue or cause for concern about.

Lots and lots of legitimate concerns......
