In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Info on record / Debbie Prince

(Just for the record - I'm not disputing either side of the story, or that the buyer is due a refund....unless it comes out that the animal had these symptoms prior to shipping and the buyer was aware of them - which would, of course, change everything)

If the buyer was made aware of them then it's most likely she wouldn't have contacted the seller saying there was something wrong. Or at the very least the sellers response would have been more like "yeah - I told you she did that" instead of "she was fine going into the box". :D

Harold......are you serious ?

I thought he was joking.....gotta get out of here....

Exactly, Tosha...so it isn't very likely (but it would change everything, lol)

She didnt make all the pymts and in fact has been reimbursed for the one pymt she did make .
May I suggest that you read the entire thread so you would know most all the answers and I wouldnt have to repeat info .
I dont mind clarifying but I have things to do .

You can make such a suggestion, but I've followed this thread from the start. Since, based upon your recommendation (and suggestion that I missed something) I went back through - would you now please point me to the post in which you explained the details of your daughter's involvement? You see, I have things to do, too.

Now, as for my other post - if you noticed, I had on more than one occasion stated I was not willing to make the leap that Ed was suggesting (that the snake was just genetically defective & shouldn't have been sold in the first place). I agreed that given the condition of the snake upon arrival, you were due a refund.

As long as you don't mind clarifying, I did raise a few points earlier (and will add others). Was the heat pack functioning when you opened the box? Were the snakes unusually warm to the touch when you unpacked them?
Now, for the new stuff. Where were you when you opened the box to inspect the animals - at Fedex, or home? You initially stated that the "car" was loose but ok...then described it as limpish - has there been an improvement in the general muscle tone since that day (given the description, it would seem to be yes)?

that was my daughters scholarship money....it wasnt even mine ...

So it wasn't her scholarship money...or maybe it was...if it was she was reimbursed for it...so now it wasn't....but it wasn't scholarship money it was money left over after all school expenses...but we are supposed to feel bad because it was her scholarship money...

I am lost. I think you got a bad deal and should be reimbursed but also feel that using scholarship money to buy snakes is irresponsible (my opinion only). Your are right it really is none of my business and you shouldn't have posted the information if you wanted no comments on it.

I havent touched the snake or seen it since the 27th......its been at the vet as stated . It is still doing the same thing as stated . its head remains tilted or upside down and it is as the vet decribes in the very 1st post made on this thread .

I opened it at fed ex...it was limpish and didnt feel right .Wouldnt lift its upper body or head . The snakes were not cold and did not feel extreme temp . Sorry I didnt touch the heat pack .

You might want to read inside the quotes of debbie that I replied to to find some info you may have missed . Parts of my replies to her posts are within her quotes on my reply posts to her .

I do not believe for a second that John sent her a faulty animal... period . This thread is about Debbie not John .
John has been nothing but honorable in my experience.

You did provide that information to her, though. If you did not want it mentioned ever. you should not have sent it in your email to her.

lol ...had i known i would end up with a damaged animal that debbie would not make it right and that i would end up on the boi ......huh?

did i say i didnt want it mentioned ? lol

it is irrelevant

it was posted as a weak attempt to distract from the real issue here .

That Toni's daughter wanted to use her school money to buy a snake may not be the wisest thing but it was her decision and where the money came from is not the issue and I'm not sure why this is even being discussed - it's not relevant to the problem or the solution. It's pretty obviously Toni thought that by pointing out how important this money was to her family and that it wasn't something she would just lightly let go it might light a fire under Debbie to get something done - no different than Debbie pulling the ol "I'm the only sole support of my husband and 4 children and money is tight" stuff as an excuse to not do anything - Irrelevant all of it just get it done.

When it's all said and done. The money regardless of where it came from still needs to be refunded.

For the record - I don't care whose money you spent on the snakes, as long as it wasn't mine (but I still think that using scholarship money for snakes is a poor choice, regardless of which of you did it - if you have repaid your daughter, good for you). Nor do I care about Debbie buying cats, or having her judgement clouded by hormones. I do care about snakes being received in that condition and sellers not dealing with it promptly. I also care about people throwing around accusations of IBD as a means of doing damage to somebody's business.
Toni, you are rightfully upset about the caramel albino...but if you have neither seen or touched the snake since the 27th, how can you comment to its suffering? I disagree with some actions of both parties; but, at the same time, can somewhat understand them. I wish you both the best with reaching a resolution.
I'm going back to viewing this thread as a nonparticipant.

i agree 100% the point is debbie should give toni the money back and if sh dont it tells me and a lot of other people how debbie runs her business and i would never do and kind of business with debbie and i am sure a lot of other people are thinking the same thing at this piont and for debbie to make any kind of rep for her business would be to give toni the money back now if toni posted she got all the money back from debbie people would consider doing business with her but as of now i think debbie is sinking her own ship and as i read this thread debbie must not care about her business at all

Mooing Tricycle How can you post something like this with no clinical testing what so ever? Its obvious what happened here. John Manser sent out a snake that should be at the bottom of a freezer. Debbie Prince noticed all the bad signs this bp was displaying then she decieded to sell it to not lose any money on the snake. She past her problems on to an unsuspecting Toni and possibly a horrible illness. anyone that would think about buying anything from a scumbag seller like Debbie is going to have problems with whatever they buy from her.[/QUOTE said:
Oh come on Ed. How the heck would you be privy to any of that? Oh, that's right, you wouldn't. Debbie is not a scumbag seller. It seems like what happened to the snake happened during shipping. Things like this happen sometimes, and it seems to me that a few posts ago Debbie agreed to sell some animals and refund Toni's money. While Debbie's initial reaction to this situation may or may not have been the best, she seems more than willing to correct the situation now, so let's give her some time to get the funds together and do so.

I would never do any kind of business with Debbie and I am sure a lot of other people are thinking the same thing at this point. For Debbie to make any kind of reputation for her business, she would have to give Toni the money back now. If Toni posts she got all of the money back from Debbie people would consider doing business with her, but as of now I think Debbie is sinking her own ship. As I read this thread it seems Debbie must not care about her business at all.

I fixed that for you.

Because ....I trust the vets report..do you now accuse him of being a liar?
I am happy you are leaving this thread . You have accused me of lying...trying to damage her rep with lies and oh yeah whatever you are accusing me of for allowing my grown daughterv to spend her own money for her last pymyt...
I fail to see any constructive or productive or respectful input on your part whatsoever. Its all irevelant .
