In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Howling gale bearded dragons

Holy herp poo!
People should be more concerned with Nicole doing fecals and (if she deems it necessary) sending owners to her friend "Tracie for medications as she is very good at dosing these out", than Sheena selling a misrepresented, overpriced dragon obtained from Nicole.

Nicole can't even take responsibility for her own unethical, immature sales tactics and customer service isses, except to shift blame, construct ridiculous lies, fairy tales and create equally ridiculous terms of service when she needs to cover her own arse for problems she created.
And of course, an owner would have to sign a disclaimer that absolves her from any & all blame when she screws up a fecal. Give me a break.

If a vendor can't even manage to represent their animals honestly and handle their customers in a professional manner, then how could anyone trust that vendor with something as important as a fecal (and possible referral to an unqualified friend who would then recommend, dose and charge for meds)?
Besides, I thought her vet would do anything she asked! She can't get free fecals?

If she'd lie about her photos; if she'd lie about her web/image qualifications (re: banner, logo, business card creations); if she'd lie about anything then she may well lie about fecals too ... and when she screws up, an owner is SOL because the owner had to sign a disclaimer. Yeah, right.

Sheena selling a misrepresented, overpriced dragon

I hope you dont mean I am selling the dragon misrepresneted maybe overpriced :shrug01: but I am representing her to the best of my knowledge :yesnod: and as I said she is only priced thatway because I know I will be offered less and I am trying to get some of my money back

Sheena selling a misrepresented, overpriced dragon .... I hope you dont mean I am selling the dragon misrepresneted maybe overpriced

Holy herp poo, again! No, I meant you selling the dragon that Nicole misrepresented and overpriced. I should have phrased it better :)

Bad experience

I also bought a dragon from Nicole that looked nothing like the pictures, I'm guessing they were photoshopped as well. I have given him 2 weeks to color up, but he is nothing like the photo. The posted photo was also taken when he was much younger.

Do you have the original photo from the ad?

I'm not doubting you would just be nice to add more fuel to the fire and provide further proof of her photo shopping her photos.:D

Is shipping fecal samples in the mail legal?I would think it would need to be handled like biohazard material or something?
My first thought was ok if i do get a bad fecal I'd have to have a local vet give me meds, which leads to paying for a fecal anyway.I doubt ANY CERTIFIED VET would just go with Nicole's fecal.

:>off_to<: My vet is two states away and has me to mail fecal samples for testing. They provide specific directions and I've sent them priority mail. I would imagine if he's telling me how to do it it's legal. If the fecals come back positive I do have to take a trip in for treatment.

How rude Deborah!

the shipping was included in the original $245.00 so figuring it into the resale price is only natural.

I agree, it was rude. Life has taught me there's someone for everyone and like calls to like. Best wishes for you both.

In my defense...when trying to get the facts of transactions clear...I have my moments when I am bombarded on an almost daily basis with the kinds of "stories" that most 4 year olds would know better than to tell. . Dyed dragons..:(

Nicole, I have only one thing to say to all of this.

Before you do any more business-related ventures (including your current one), you need to learn how to be professional...in more ways than one. The customer service part is obvious, but you need to also learn how to conduct yourself in a mature manner in e-mails, IMs, and posts on message boards like this one. I had to check your age here on Fauna because your posts made me think that there's no way you could be older than 18. Your grammar is at a middle-school level, and you conduct yourself like a spoiled teenager.

Also, if what you say is true about your computer and camera knowledge.... Yeah, you have a lot to learn before doing any kind of Internet sales. No, you don't have to know everything...or even run your own website (most businesses hire this out, anyway), but you should have at least a very basic understanding of websites, computers, and cameras.

Completely disregarding your BOI threads, these things I've mentioned immediately put you on my "do not buy from/sell to" list. Maybe I'm being harsh, but I don't see how a buyer could trust a seller who is 22 and yet knows so very little about the world around her.

So please, do yourself (or at least your future self) a favor and mature a bit more before continuing your business. It is in your own best interest...and, frankly, only your own best interest, as you are screwing your own future, here.

tom your link doesnt work but i would guess you were linking to her post on .org concerning "affordable fecal testing"

Uhhh...interesting. You don't need oil immersion to do a fecal! (Nor do you need Fecasol or float kits, but maybe you do if you're doing a test on one- or two-day-old poo. I don't know, as I only do fresh fecals.) My microscope's highest magnification is 1000x, which is meant for oil immersion, but the 400x magnification is more than enough to see flagellates and pinworms!

that is still a good looking dragon. and why would you need to pay a re stocking fee. all you do it put it back in a cage. if i were you just keep the dragon and dont do business with her again. if your plan on breeding her she well still give you nice babies. the dragon you got goes for 250 with out shipping. that frist picture on the very top does look like she did something to it because its the same dragon in both pictures she just miss with one of the pics to get that color. Besides that those dragons go for 500 dollars.

I would sell the dragon and get some of the money back and put it to a new female. Same as what Sheena did. The restocking fee is funny though because you had that dragon for how long Nicole and Sheena only had it for a week. This is not a shopping center kind of item. I would not pay more then 250 shipped (because it is breedable size) for that dragon to be honest and I KNOW you can find better for UNDER 500 dollars with the coloring that you want. What it boils down to is Sheena, you got ripped off for a misrepresented animal and for that I am very sorry. Nicole, you make us new breeders that are young look horrible and untrustworthy. It makes me ill to think I helped spread your name to friends a year ago to help you out when you contacted me for help on selling your dragons with a sob story. Grow up! Take responsibility and give the woman a Full refund and take the dragon back. I would just for the fact of my customer wasnt happy! That is good business and customer service. If you cant grasp that then get out of the business. She contacted you within 24 hours about the problem.
Oh and for the stress issue let me tell you a little something, when I open the boxes from having my dragons shipped in, they are fired up and bright and exactly how they were represented to me in photos, but then again I have only dealt with HONEST breeders and that must be something you just do not want to be. Sorry this is harsh, but Nicole, you have made me that mad about not standing by your dragons correct colors and your poor customer service. Grow up or get out of this business!

you have made me that mad about not standing by your dragons correct colors and your poor customer service.

she could care less if a customer is happy or not as long as she gets there money thats all that matters, thats how she makes herself seem. she over charges on shipping so she can get a cut from that, restocking fee for returns, ohh and the custermer has to pay shipping again so in all actuality she gets money even if the animal is returned.

I agree with you on that Russ. She is just money hungry. She needs to grow up and get a real job and find out how hard it is to make an honest buck instead of scamming people by altering photos and her crazy fees.

I guess she isnt gonna respond cause she and Ed know there is nothin they can say..When complete strangers call you and your man POS breeders, and talk about your businness practices being garbage, dosnt that at all make you feel like dirt?..You and Ed will never ever have a good name here..My advice is to leave his sorry a** , and get into selling used cars..Only because you are good at misrepresenting things, and act like you have no clue about your wrong doings...Your a big talker about garauntees, yet pull the "sold as is" card as soon as someone has a problem...

So, I do not know how I missed it, but Ed and this Nicole are an "item?"

If that is the case, Ed should not be posting on this thread anything other than he is teaching Nicole how to take pics in natural lighting and posting pictures that look like the animal in question. It seems that more and more people are accusing Nicole of photoshopping pictures to make a sale. One time can be a mistake, but if you do it over and over, in my opinion, it is fraud. I wonder if it would be interenet fraud, and if you mail them over State lines, does it become a Federal issue? I don't know, but this is not a one time occurance now. And if you think it is not fraud, when you use a doctored picture to sell a $75 animal for $200, that is fraud.

I agree ! When you buy something and you get something else that is worth less than what you agree to buy. Then yes it is Fraud.

Auction and Retail Schemes Online. According to the Federal Trade Commission and Internet Fraud Watch, fraudulent schemes appearing on online auction sites are the most frequently reported form of Internet fraud. These schemes, and similar schemes for online retail goods, typically purport to offer high-value items - ranging from Cartier® watches to computers to collectibles such as Beanie Babies® - that are likely to attract many consumers. These schemes induce their victims to send money for the promised items, but then deliver nothing or only an item far less valuable than what was promised (e.g., counterfeit or altered goods).

Well I guess the next step is for these buyers to step up to the plate, organize all their proof, and report it..Nicole,is this somthing you really wanna go to prison for??I mean, its just selling dragons and bein honest..How hard is that?Getting with Ed probably helped you become this way,but if you go to jail,he will end up with some other girl, who will give him money to fund his animal "businness" and that will be that..I hope you are proud of yourself..I encourage anyone who had misdealings with her about photoshopped dragons to definetly go after the fraud issue...

i say good riddance we don't need people like that in our hobby were having a hard enough time with all these bills being thrown at us to have to worry about them.
