    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Only thing I have left for ball python trades is my graziani pastel male 600+ grams ( currently breeding 2 girls ) paired with a female normal that I'm trying to prove out as a yellow belly that is at 1538 grams ( ready to breed ). If you'd be interested let me know.

Hmm my guess would be that he told me he needed another albino granite because the one he already has is probably going to die soon he said he already has one pretty similar that hasn't eaten for about 4 months and was going to go ahead and replace him.
I've delt with this kid alot because he lives in the same city and has caused alot of problems if given the chance. So if he tries to go with a trade I wouldn't doubt if he was going to send you a half dead burm. I usually try not to deal with him but the stuff he had fit in nicely with my colubrid collection.
I would just be careful and have him ship first and see if the snake apears to be unhealthy because a snake that hasn't eaten for a long period of time would defenetely show it.
Your talking about Michael Voorhies, Please do not find me affiliated with him the least bit I can barely stand knowing the kid lives here. He will cause alot of trouble.

Thanks for the reply. I've gotta say my first thought was you working together. In that case though I doubt you would have bothered responding to my inquiry. So anyway thanks for warning me man. I think it's pretty crappy that this guy would do that either way. He also from what I understand in the BOI still hasn't paid "Ladyvenom" from here on fauna for the green het granite burm that he received from her.

Yes I know michael voorhies personally because we live in the same town and used to be friends a few years back. He ended up trying to screw me over on an alligator I took from him about 3 years ago. His appartment has found the alligator and wanted it gone immediatly or he was to be gone the next morning. He called me and I took it from him.Alligators are very illegal to own from my understanding but I decided to help him and hide it for him and let him get it later ha... yea that worked out. The next morning I had Texas parks & wildlife knocking on my door I let them in showed them the alligator and explained my situation and gave them all of michaels information, they took the alligator and were on theire way to his appartment. Long story short if he is going down he will defenetley take someone with him even if it was his best friend!
Don't deal with the guy unless it is face to face.
Ladyvenom I was going to buy an adult male green from him a few months back when he was selling a group of burms albino, granite, green, normal, albino.
I know for a fact that the snakes have been sold because a friend of mine actually baught all of his snakes from him. He was not allowed to have big snakes in his appartment and got caught and had to do something with them and I was not there to help or will I ever be.

Wow... that's really messed up. We both know the value of greens, and he was a gorgeous one (as you may know), plus I paid to ship him to Michael. He then threatened me that he would call the cops in MY area because I sold him an animal that was illegal here. I sold the animal BECAUSE it was illegal here. To avoid legal issues, I just shut up.

It is really messed up when working in this industry to see that most of the time things work out fine, but then you get slapped with the wrong person and lose upwards of $500...
 
I really hate to see him rip off another person. Believe me he is going to get whats comming to him because here in town hes messed with the wrong people and most of which is not reptile related. Alot of people in odessa are hunting him down.
 
This person made a trade offer for one of my purple phase albino retics. He was offering a 7' albino granite Burmese and a 10' female het albino granite burmese that is "gravid and due within two weeks".

This offer immediately imposed my suspicion. 1. Why would you trade a gravid animal when a clutch is due to be laid is beyond me, and 2. A 10' gravid female is on the low side for laying a healthy clutch. 3. Looking him up on here, this thread made these suspicions come to light.

Buyer/Traders beware, this kid isn't trustworthy.

If he thinks it will pull a better offer the snake will magically appear gravid. Sound familiar with ladyvenoms experience?
He tried to sell me the same normal female burmese thatis absolutely not het for anything because it changes hets. het albino, green, granite, Thats a magical snake! Changing hets!
True genetic powerhouse. lol
But out of all seriousness everyone about to deal with him should be aware of what voorhies does and will do!

Say chevy is not his alias as I know chevy.He is a good kid and an experienced venomous keeper even tho he is young.Get your facts straight before you go and insult my friends.Just because chevy knows the little piece of crap does not mean it is him.He offered help and you say he is him.I have had chevy at my house and he is not the vorhees dude,jesus get a life.

Also chevy comes from a herp family and his dad is a well known snake hunter here in Texas.I will do trades with chevy and I would personaly send him any animal he wanted .He is a man of his word.Not all young kids are stupid punks.This voorhies kid is a trouble maker and is known as such.You owe chevy an apology no doubt.If you want referinces on me just look around I am quite well known in the venomous reptile world and have been doing this over 30 years.You would concider yourself lucky to have him as a friend as I do....
