OK - what's with the sudden resurgence of "uninvolved" people posting "unrelated" photos on the BOI...meaning the ones being put in for comedic effect. That practice got shifted to the Unaccepted column a few years ago - but I've seen more of it in this thread than I have in the combined threads of the past year...probably two years. (maybe its this thread, and the concurrent one about Ed - they blend together easily, so its hard to separate them in my mind). Popcorn, Tony Clifton, a train, Pinocchio - sure, one could argue for relevance with some of them, and that a picture paints a thousand words...but, it pretty much blows the goal of increasing the professionalism on this forum right out of the proverbial water.
Yes, they can be cute...and they might get the poster some positive karma...but is it worth infractions for disruptive posting? Especially when it is likely to result in a ban, in some cases?
Use your words (can the pics); and, if you're making a smartass comment, make sure there is enough pertinent about your post to balance it out.

These are pics I took the day I delivered the 2 dragons, Nicole I ask that you do not use any of my pics from this day on. including your avatar , your site or anywhere.

After seeing the pictures that Ed posted they looked familiar to me so I did a little digging. These two pictures are from the same photo shoot as two of the photos (Amaya & Lil Flame) used in Nicole's ad that she absentmindedly posted with the photoshopped picture of "Sokar".

According to the Exif data of these two photos that Ed took, they were taken with a Cannon D80 using Photoshop Elements.

Ed I have never seen those pictures nor know that dragon you are really out of control. You told me you have Photo Shop Elements that you do your pictures on you probably did that yourself.

Checking a couple of Ed's ads pictures, they were taken with a Cannon D80 using Photoshop Elements as well.

To Nicole's credit, none of the pictures that she has posted in this thread or in her current ads show the same kind of Exif data as Ed's pictures.
I'm posting only one (to save a little space) from an ad of hers but the Exif data is the same for all of her pictures I'm referring to.

That being said, These are HER animals, HER ads so she was maybe not the one behind altering the pictures but was well aware of it.

So, apparently Ed was doing Nicole's pictures for her past ads.
Seems to me we know who that mysterious "web guy" from Nicole's other bad guy thread is.


Nicole, separating yourself as far as possible from Ed is a great step in the right direction. Continue posting your ads with honest representative photos of your animals, deal honestly and fairly with customers and in no time you will have no need to have your ads locked for fear of negative comments being left and "Good Guy" threads will bury the couple of negative threads you have going.

I am lost now So all the pictures Ed took of my dragons are edited? Actually DAND & James I did not know he was using "Photo Shop" untill I started getting a little suspicous of things going on I used that Exif viewer thing though I am not 100% sure what I am reading I started to see "Photo Shop" listed in a section of the data it shows me. I do not use a "Nikon" I have a Canon Rebel XT that I got from a fellow local breeder who just wanted to stick with a regular point and shoot.

How can I find out if all the pictures are edited; would I have to run each one through that Exif website? And what Details in the data that it gives would show this?

Ed Clark is NOT my web guy my web site was built by Cody Gore he also handles all updates on it I do not do any of my own site work. I honestly do not have the time for it nor the knowledge to make a website like the one I currently have If I wanted I probably could make a website using one of the "Site Builders" that come with servers like FreeWebs but they look so unprofessional.

Norris I was in no way aware of him editing the pictures he took of my breeders I thought he just had a better camera he told me he is a Professional Photographer at the time I had no reason not to believe that.

To answer anyones question about my pics.

I do have a small pic program called photoshop elements 5.0 it is very limited what can be done with it. I use it to enlarge and crop pics so they can be clearly viewed in detail.

I would never post a small dark pic that some do, after all you can not see what they are selling with that type of pics.

Ed, my first Photoshop edition was 5.0 and although it was set up with graphics in mind more so than photography, anyone with a little time can still do almost anything they can do with the later editions. The later additions are just more user friendly in regards to photo manipulation. The most commonly used manipulations to make animals more colorful, like saturation, were just as easy to find on 5.0 as they are on cs.

That said I don't recall seeing any of your photos that looked off. And until complaints come in that animals are more colorful in pictures I don't see how your use of Photoshop is any different than any other crop, contrast, and sharpen software. I have no problems on using Photoshop to accurately depict an animal but it's use needs to be limited to manipulations that do not enhance an animals colors or other selling points.

I don't feel like looking it up, but I seem to recall that one particular picture in question, Nicole admitted that SHE took the picture (although she denied editing). If she took it and uploaded it to her computer herself..sigh.

Perhaps she has borrowed Ed's camera a few times...

On a serious note, there is a nice guy on the dragon forum here begging for help because his dragons are dying. A real opportunity for those with dragon expertise to give some advice to someone who needs it. Nicole has not showed up once in that thread, she seems to have her time tied up here making accusations and dramatic exits.
