Everything definitley escalated from so many people stating their opinions and taking sides but it is the BOI and thats what happens. This should end tonight and the refund will be figured out and then given based from what the report says.

I certainly will not be dragging any local vets into this mess as they wouldnt be getting online here getting involved with this. Enough already about why we didnt have the conference call today. I really am suprised that you would call the diagnostic laboratory to try to talk to the vet. Are you kidding me? I walk in there this afternoon and could immediately tell the receptionist wasnt so happy. So you called this morning and then called AGAIN in the afternoon and used the case # I posted on here. That is exactly why I hated posting any of the details because someone would go and start making phone calls and bothering these professionals. YOU DIDNT PAY FOR THE NECROPSY!!! Why would you think they would want to be bothered by fielding your phone calls?? Really unbelievable!

Some of you (ironically all Floridians near Yaz)keep talking about receipts/paperwork and what not. So the fact that I posted the card with the case # wasnt enough huh? I made that up? I guess Yaz really knows that a necropsy WAS done on Friday now since he talked to the vet.. Still dont believe what the DVM's told me Yaz? $390

Yaz, just for the record, you sold me a nine year old, 8+ foot male boa constrictor that had been proven a couple of times now right? Put some thought into it before answering. Make sure that ad of yours doesnt come down either will you?

Yaz, I apologize if I came across as rude. I think the main reason I was so argumentative is it was VERY deep into the thread before you even disputed an agreement to pay the $300 or $250 to begin with. You even quoted an email from David where he mentioned the 2 agreed upon amounts, and you never disputed that until late in the thread. I never thought David should get a full refund without proof, and I don't want people to think I chose a side without proof. I tried to always say "IF it is proven " to let people know that I had not chosen a side. I just wanted to know what was going to happen IF it was proven to be pre-existing. I knew what would happen if it was proven to be Davids fault already!

2 days? All this in a two day period? It's good to know people will champion someone they think is right, but in a two day period where the "proof" won't be in for five more days yet? Seriously, when I first saw the length of this thread and read the first page without noting the date, I figured I could read to the end and find out the conclusion.... that is 'till I noticed the dates. I don't know either dog in this fight, but it looks like the best way to let THEM END IT is to see what happens when the report comes in, not to try to trump the action up. Is this the repticzone? Not everyone camps on the internet 24/7 to post in a BOI thread! Some people work, have family, life etc. I am seriously amazed at all the bellows for proof in such a short span of time. He posted the card and you called so you know the company is legit. Of course they won't give you a stitch of information, same way a doctor's office handles patient info. All I see is a lot of finger pointing and wild claims. David posted a time frame on when results will be in and I'm certain will share with everyone.

I called the vet wow, didnt know it was such a big deal. The first time I called in the morning all I asked was what kind of paperwork do you get when you drop an animal off to get a necropsy done (I never even mentioned this situation). The second time I called I said the case number and talk to the vet who said I needed to be authorized by you or you need to call yourself and get the info. I didnt think it was that big of a deal, apparently you do. I wouldnt have called the second time if you did a conference call. You said you'd call in the morning and what time I would be available. I said anytime before 5pm, and then I recieved no call from you all day.

As for deleting the boa ad, why would I delete it? I will keep it there for everyone to see that he looked great and was healthy. (or at least seemed perfectly healthy and problem free for the 2 years I owned him). You are getting rediculous now. I was asking so many questions and getting suspicious because you were demanding full refunds before I knew you even got the necropsy done. I have the right to be suspicous considering that animal left here healthy and arrived healthy. Apprently he MAY not have been, but I am allowed to be as suspicous as I want.

He was 9-10 years old and weighed just under 40 pounds while in a plastic tub, so minus a little for the plastic tub, he probably weighed around 37LB. Since I had him, he was never power fed and he maintaned weight very well, even when I cut him off of food to breed.

David, do you have a physical copy of any report? Keep in mind, I don't live near Yaz, nor do I have any horse in this race. I just want to see this resolved. If you have a copy or a report, please post it.

So now you're sayin you refuse to do a conferance call with the vets, despite them being the ones that diagnosed pnuemonia, still have nothing but that card, no receipts, no file? You want the $390 given to you without any proof other than the pictures and the card that says you took a snake to the lab? Who told you it was pnuemonia that killed the snake?

So with no proof yet(other than the mucus pictures) you want the $390 refund in full, despite having a necropsy report pending, and nothing at all from a vet saying that the animal had a pre-existing case of pneumonia that killed it?

Understand, in my opinion, the boa probably had the pnuemonia and died from it, and you're entitled to the full $390 refund. But I understand that the seller is entitled to some sort of proof that's what killed the snake. The fact that the seller has already stated that EVEN IF the necropsy says it was your fault rather than the pnuemonia, he'll still issue a partial refund tells me he does want to make things right. I just don't understand you reluctance to provide the proof(other than the necropsy report which isn't ready yet).

From what I understand,(based on an earlier post by Chris) David does have a preliminary report and will be posting it tonight.
