Well, well, well . . .

So Neil wanted Rich to let him post that "someone" had been caught and was going to be prosectued, but that they could not say anything for fear of fouling the prosecution???? He thought it would be OK to fool everyone here, because allowing them to think they had done some good would be fine, and no one but Rich and Neil would ever be the wiser?

What was it that Lincoln said? You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time!

Like I said before, interesting tidbits aside, we learned nothing new here . . .Neil was, is, and ever shall be a liar, who cannot be trusted by ANYONE interested in the truth. I only wish there were some way to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he committed those burglaries, because this guy belongs in jail!

I have to say, I have never been more proud for having been one of the Dirty Dozen than I am after having read that report. And for all of you that think there is a clique of some sort here on the BOI, just remember that Neil was one of the big boys here before he started lying to us all. He was liked by most, and we all considered him one of our community of fellow trusted herpers. However, when his stories didn't match up, and he would not answer the real questions put to him, a few of us (you know, that clique!?!?) challenged our FRIEND (as much as one can be a friend over the internet, Neil was) about his own truthfulness. When his truthfulness was found to be non-existant, we refused to accept his lying, manipulative, arrogant behavior on any level. That's the only clique there is on the BOI . . .a group of people who simply will not tolerate crooks in our hobby/business! If that's the clique some of you have talked about, I'm glad I'm in it!

Dismissing the Dirty Dozen mith!

After Neil was banned for the first time, someone started a thread with a poll entitled "Opinions on Neil's banning". Below are the final votes of that poll and the amendments proposed by Neil to the WebSlave, and I quote:

As far as the "poll" goes.... as I told you in our private emails.... if you could knock off a "dozen" or so, from the top, and the bottom (to be fair), and just use the middle, that would be fine with me, otherwise, I'm content the way it is....

Question: Opinions on Neil's banning. :: Total Votes:59 Poll choices Votes Statistics 1. I'm glad he's gone! He brought this forum down. 20 [33.90%] 2. I'm glad he's gone, and I hope “X” is next! 9 [15.25%] 3. He deserved to go, but I'll miss the entertainment value. 19[32.20%] 4. He should not have been banned. 11 [18.64%]

The name of the second person ("X") was removed in purpose as this thread is not about him.

Deducting 12 from the bottom = leaves choice 4 with 0, and choice 3 with 18.

Deducting 12 from the top = leaves choice 1 with 8.

8 + 9 + 18 = 35.

In short, a total of almost 49% were glad that he was gone and close to 51% (18/35) agreed that he deserved to go although they will miss the entertainment value.

It thus clear that the existence of the infamous "Dirty Dozen" is an unfounded mith, and it should be renamed the "Dirty 29". Sorry to rain in your parade Darin!

Darin , you said it all Neil was well respected by us all ...for a minute!! , and then his mouth and dealings pushed him away.
The report really is no surprise.

After Reading the Report....

I'd like to thank Rich for his honesty in the Snake Pit burglary matter. It's pretty obvious from the report that Rich suspected NG might not be telling the truth throughout, and chose to stick to his guns in his decision not to fabricate a happy ending to the saga.

I think the Report and the e-mail sent to Rich shows a little more of what everyone needs to see about this situation. Anyone that tries to LIE and fabricate a story to make it just go away seems to be hiding something in my eyes. I know if a robbery had happened at my facility or house I would not stop until I knew EXACTLY who was responsible. Now I am not saying Neil perpetuated the robbery or had anything to do with as proof of that has not been shown but it his actions are a little suspicious with the new information brought out from the report. Rich I would like to personally like to thank you for putting up the money that was owed to Mr. Crowley in order to pay that debt and be able to receive the report. It just shows how much of a GOOD GUY you are. (We all knew but this is a little extra reinforcement. Thanks again Rich.

I am glad this came out. I have said on this boi that Neal is a cheat. liar and a thief and some people responed to me on the boi and in emails telling me to calm it down or back off. Now, I can say "told you so"

Where are all the neal supporters now???

Ok everyone, I've read, re-read and then read it all again.

It seems everything has their own "opinions" that Neil has commited the burglury himself.....but isn't the BOI here to actually show PROOF before tying someone up and setting them to the firing squad??

I have a few things though....

#1 the report states Neil didn't file with the TPD b/c they have done nothing for him the the past. That does not mean he robbed the store himself...it just means he's fed up with the PD not doing s**t for him....it does not mean he didn't file b/c he actually robbed the store himself (although that's what everyone thinks).

#2 the report states by this PI that Neil gave him all these leads to actually distract him from the real culprit "Neil himself". Come on...give me a break...if someone robbed me I would come up with every enemy or problem customer I ever had too. Do you think the police go to a murder or burglury and say "well mr. jones you think all these enemies may have committed this crime? Well we think you murdered you wife yourself and are just coming up with leads to distract us" PLEASE!!!!

#3 they said the beardies were sold....but never states to who or any receipt...they managed to find other receipts in the garbage and hidden all over the place, but why not this one? And speaking of those vet reports....maybe I missed it, and forgive me if I mis-read it, but it didn't state anywhere that the snake was the gravid one Neil stated. It just said a snake was treated....again if I'm wrong, let me know.

#4 the cameras were not hooked up. ok they spent a ton of money to get a survellience system....i know many businesses that get them for the "scare" of having one...so people know they spent all this money on the equiptment.....who was to know it wasn't going to be turned on that night? at this we could say, one of his employees robbed him as they knew the equiptment was hardly ever used. Or we could say that Neil's father did b/c he also knew.....but again, no PROOF.

#5 The statement that Neil actually KEPT money that James sent to him for the PI is also rediculous. Again, no proof of payment ever being sent.

You know, the sad thing is most people here would be horrible on a jury. You've already hung Neil out to dry, but there is still MUCH resonable doubt.

Try putting personal feelings aside and read that report again. It doesn't show anything about Neil robbing the store himself....just numerous copies of emails and phone calls (not stating from who) that they THINK Neil did it himself.

I also would like to know the credentials of this PI....considering he was HIRED by someone that apparently NO ONE can find.

Given your reputation, and the fact that you and Neil seem to be buddies, I wonder how objective your take on that actually was. Hey Neil, getting one of your liar buddies to stand up for you really doesn't make you look any better.

This is a PUBLIC BOARD correct???? Yes Neil and I know each other....but what does that have to do with me just now finally reading into this whole Tampa Snake Pit thing? Never had enough time....lol

I'm just posting a "what if here".....sorry I can't just jump right in with you and say "Neil's an (*^#$&^ $&*^$&^$ and he robbed his own store"

But I suppose looking at both sides would be fair....oops....that's right, b/c of my "reputation" as you pointed out, no one deserves a fair trial.

I never said Neil did it or Neil didn't, I just pointed out some things I thought were fishy....that should be addressed before a final judgement is made.

Just my opinion.

Thank you Rich for finally posting the report.

Given your reputation, and the fact that you and Neil seem to be buddies, I wonder how objective your take on that actually was.

Just my .02, but coming from someone who is not "pro" or "anti" Neil (just trying to keep an open mind) there are just way too many inconsistancies (sp?) in the report to conclude anything specific. The report aside, this board alone has proven what a liar and fraud Neil is, however contrary to my previous belief, that doesn't mean he robbed his own store. Like I said though - just my .02 - I'm off to get another cup of coffee and get ready for work. . .

I agree. The report did NOT prove that Neil robbed his own store. If there was PROOF, Neil would now be in jail.

The report DOES prove, however, that Neil is a lying weasel who cannot be trusted at all. Anyone who sees anything contrary than that, either has not read the report with comprehension, does not understand what "liar" means, or shares the same character flaw.

Care to respond to THAT issue, Upstate??? Is Neil a proven LIAR from that report? Will you call your buddy what he is, or will you allow yourself to be identified by your silence for what YOU are?

Even NYPD doesn't have the resources to investigate that many leads!
