I've seen you in person, we've actually chatted at Tinley Park. I understand that guys of your stature sometimes suffer from what is called a "Napoleonic Complex" and it certainly makes sense.

The funny thing is that you, all of a sudden one year decided to buy a bunch of "high end" Crested Geckos after failing to hit it rich with Ball Pythons and in the blink of an eye, considered yourself to be some kind of "Gecko Royalty." You're a classic case of egomaniacal delusion derived from having too much money & testosterone.

And one more thing - My problem with Dennis' comments is that he's just encouraging this liar to keep up his lies. That's one reason this website attracts scum like John Moore and Ed Clark - there are people here who actually believe their garbage, humor them and listen to their garbage, even when there is absolutely zero proof.

If you think it's cool or OK that your moderators are here encouraging the scum of the hobby to keep coming around, then I guess that's another reason this site has become what it is.

We had a very easy problem to correct, all you would have had to have been was a decent person/businessman instead you wanted to call me a liar and that was wrong.

Ultimately you got me for around $900.00 I really thought you would contact me and ask what you can do to make it right. you sent the cresties a week after I asked to be refunded, you were months late on the delivery.AC Reptiles/Anthony Caponetto has the worst customer service and treats them with total disrespect then when they contact you about a problem you get angry then start calling them names like liar.

I have no respect at all for someone who plays those kinds of games,neither Anthony or the minion, because if they do it here, they will do it to you in a transaction.
There is nothing wrong will disagreement if it is done thoughtfully and courteously. That is not how Anthony chose to play this out.

I question the OP, he has not provided the proof he said he would. But there have in the past been situations where both parties come up looking like bad guys.

Posting garbage to get yourself banned intentionally is a bad idea as it just makes you look bad overall. Posting for somebody else is not the best idea either IMO.
If Anthony had kept cool the OP would have eventually been discredited if he was in fact not telling the truth.

The BOI can be a valuable resource to verify the legitimacy of a seller/buyer, you just have to sift through the drama sometimes, drama that can really show people's true colors. Getting banned intentionally just shows a level of immaturity and achieves nothing more; if you don't want to participate, don't log in; much more professional.

Kinda ironic, considering Anthony's initial response to me.....

David Beard - That's not surprising considering you actually look stupid enough to believe John Moore.

Maybe take a better look at the person you put on a pedestal before directing your ire onto others.

So John made up a story about Anthony and then was exposed as a guy with multiple accounts. He denied that he had two accounts until it was proven against him. Then Anthony lost his temper because he had to waste even more time dealing with John.

By default, I am a Caponetto supporter. I purchased a Jaguar Carpet python (see my Avatar) from Anthony in 2011, and the transaction was smooth and painless. He was not very quick to respond to emails, but he did respond. He answered all of my questions after I received the snake with no problems. The snake itself is outstanding.

The downside, is since then I have tried to find out if he is producing Carpets again anytime soon, by sending him a few emails and trying to contact him through his Facebook page, but I have been ignored.

It's always strange to me when an OP does more to damage their own reputation than the one they accuse of being bad. Anthony came off a little crazy and hot tempered, but as far as I can tell, John is just a bold faced scamming liar.

Anthony went a little overboard but sometimes thats what happens to people when they get fed up. The original intentions of the BOI were good but if people that have done shady business transactions in the past MULITPLE times are still allowed on it doesn't make much sense.

I honestly can't believe the OP until he shows some proof. However, the way Anthony has presented himself makes me never want to deal with him. I've admired his animals, but will not buy any from him after reading this. There are right and wrong ways to handle problem people and this was definitely the wrong way.

That's a great point. John seems to have accidentally exposed himself as a fraud, so should we be allowed to start a new thread title, "John Moore is a liar" because we seem to have first hand experience that he is.
Wife, girlfriend, or paid escort, you'd better be consistent when you start with this type of thread. Then "blah blah I am super wealthy and had thousands of reptiles" just reflects terribly on him.

He got mad because your girlfriend felt it necessary to send him a message telling him his geckos were overpriced? I don't disagree that they are, but if you watch some of his auctions, you can't blame him. The crazy crested fanatics pay outrageous prices whether or not he asks for it.

I definitely will avoid John Moore, and if Anthony has something I want, I will still buy it from him. Being an a-hole doesn't mean he isn't a fair businessman with great quality animals. I could careless if he is nice.
