Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Matt is out of his mind. He made the BOI beleive that we were wrong the first time and he made us beleive that it would be over if we gave him a full refund.

Just so everyone knows the truth, Matt never dropped the claim with the credit card company and even got them to refund his card another $1500.
We spoke to the Credit card company and they told us that he never withdrew the claim. In fact he proceeded with it instead of dropping it. He told them I never refunded him at all.

He will probably come to the BOI now and claim that it was a mistake. And the company made a mistake. That he dropped his claim. But it will be a lie. Just like the first story he gave this BOI.

The most important thing about the first story was the telephone converstions that we had. He claimed we did not ship in time, but over the phone he said there was no rush and that we could ship the first week of september. Than he demanded his money back. He would not even accept the shipment.


Hopefully people will reconsider their view of the situation that they previously had. We did nothing wrong and even gave in and sent him a refund. Now he owes us money.........


EVERYBODY NEEDS TO RECONSIDER THE THINGS THEY THOUGH AND SAID ABOUT US.

We always try do make our customers happy, even when they are not 100% right. That is just the way we look at things. THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT.... That is the only reason why Matt got a refund. Not we are paying for it.....

Honestly I do not even want to hear what Matt has to say. Bottom line is that the CC company told me that Matt did not reverse the complaint. He told them that he did not receive a refund....He is probably going to say that he called them and it is not his fault. But I do not want to hear it....

The situation was wrong of him from the beginning and now it just got worse.

Have you tried communicating with Adam since you saw that the $1500 was reversed to settle the issue before coming here? He may or may not have an explanation, and he may be all for fixing it, but I think most viewers here expect any complaint to have had an attempt at resolution before making all the accusations in this forum, or anywhere else for that matter. Posting of the communications where you were unable to reach a resolution then goes a long way towards making your case.

But in spite of what your words seem to indicate, I did not want to make any assumptions, and did want to afford you the opportunity to state whether or not you had attempted to contact Matt about this. If Matt has your money now, beyond whatever he was due in a refund, then it certainly is something that he needs to fix ASAP (interesting concept with other people's money ... ASAP ... vs. "when I feel like it"). There is some irony here, eh?
 
I am going to have to go back and look, but I thought Matt had contacted the CC company before Adam decided to refund his money.

First, if he got another $1500, he should give it back, and now. He should not make you wait just to make you wait, or say if he wanted to he could give it to you today(clam to have $10,000 in cash on a table, yet never show the pic) but will make you wait, wait, isn't that just what you did?

Also in your own words you had a deal to ship the first week in sep, right?

But it was Oct. 17, when he first posted about it.

I think he should give back the $1500(part of me thinks he should make you wait as you did him, but thats not right) asap!
 
Damn Bruce, but don't we think alike !! I did send an email to Matt .... I do not know him but used his Faune contact info ... and hopefully he will be here soon enough. I have to go to, the family needs to eat so I have to clear my 10G's off the kitchen table. Happens every night .... sheeesh .....

I dont think it matters if he contaced the CC company before he got money from adam. He sent a message saying he had droppped the claim. Whether he already had a claim with the CC company , he should have dropped it. This makes me wonder what he said in the other thread was true.......
 
I understand that, but it is important to have the facts straight. If I never read the other thread it is easy to think the Matt reported a claim to the CC company after Adam refunded the money.

Either way, the claim should have been dropped as soon as Matt said he would do it. Also, Matt receiving an extra $1500 is not right and he needs to return the money to Adam.
 
I Tried to contact Matt......no response

To those who are wondering if I had tried to caontact Matt, I did. I called a couple of times. I also sent him an email......

To those who said that he made the complaint before the refund.....Your right he did. But he said he would drop it. And call them and let them know that he was refunded his money. We also spoke on the phone and through email where he said he would let them know he was refunded.

He did not bother calling them. He let the credit go through. Know he has an extra $1500. I did mypart and refunded his money within days........

The he does not do his part and contact the credit card company after the check had cleared. Talk about poor communication.


I do not care what some of you think, he has been wrong from the get go. The stories that were explained were not accurate from the start. He should have never wemt to the BOI and bashed us from the start.

If he was so on top of things, he would have never had them credit his card an extra $1500. ........Sorry , thats the bottom line...
 
According to his CP, Matt has been on the BOI as recently as the day before this thread was started. My bet is that he will be posting soon
 
All the drama and intrigue of a soap opera! Has anyone notified Matt of this little tid bit? And no offense Adam, but didn't Matt have to wait quite a while for his refund? The Christmas holidays are a big deal and maybe he'll get back to you after Christmas, or New Years or Valentines Day??
 
Considering this thread is only 4 hours old, if I am not mistaken, I would suggest before anyone posts their assumptions to wait until Matt can post.

Adam- When did you find out about this? How many attempts did you make calling him? Did you leave a message? There is a possibilty he is busy or out could be out of town. It is the holidays. Also do you think that maybe the credit card company might have screwed up too? I know I have had problems with mine in the past. So I would suggest sitting tight, just like Matt did for his 2 or 3 month refund from you and see what happens. Hopefully you guys can straighten this out without making a big scene all over again.

Almost, but not quite. If what has been related thus far is true, then one party has manipulated his options to actually commit not only simple theft but actual fraud.

I can not support theft or fraud regardless of what unpleasantness may have occurred between the two. And doing so is not "justice".

Whether you believe it or not, I did cancel the CC claim. This is the first I've heard about any of this. It sounds to me that you are just trying to make me look bad now in hopes of saving your reputation.
However, that is all beside the point. You sent me an email at 3:30 today alerting me of this for the first time and you are already on here flaming me. That right there shows me exactly what kind of person you are. Also, the only phone calls I got today were from my sister and Brett Thacker alerting me to this thread. I will be happy to post phone records when my bill comes to prove you never called.
Anyhow, unlike you, I am an honest person and don't take advantage of anyone, including people like you. I will call my CC company tomorrow and find out what happened. If they can't give the money back to you for some reason, then I will contact you and send you the money. I am on vacation right now and won't be able to check this board for a few days, so this will have to be my only post until then. Adam, once again, I will look into this first thing tomorrow. Isn't it nice getting a resolution so fast. I wish I knew what it felt like.

I couldn't agree more. Seems several of the first posters are getting a little glee out of the circumstances. Karma.........maybe, but karma or no, we can't condone this alleged fraud, and fraud is what it is if he continued the claim after receiving the check. Remember here folks 2 wrongs does not a right make, even in a PC world.
