    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Can you refer me to the post where you were referred to as a "bad person"? I judge you on what YOU say and how YOU act. And your "act" changed with the responses here. I'd like to know how you decided that the person you sold to was a better choice to take care of said animal than the OP and why you supposedly accepted less money, when money was the motivation for selling it.
 
Act of what? I'm done trying to explain. Clearly no matter what I say...you are determined to claim I made the mistakes I did maliciously. Not a thing I could say will ever change your mind. If you are willing to judge a total stranger based on hear-say,that is certainly your choice... I'd certainly never judge YOU based on hear-say...I've never met you...it would be wrong.

I don't spread rumors, and I do my damnedest to deal honestly, and MY HONESTY about other offers and about other details is just making the situation worse. I hope that someday I get a great customer (like all of the other wonderful people I've dealt with) that is informed about this site (as unlike some, I do NOT invite people to flood me with positive threads) as the people that only try and ruin other people's lives.

These animals are my pets. They are breeders second. You can think what you want...you don't know me and clearly have no interest in hearing anything that could be positive about me.

Nothing I can do...and I don't have to explain myself any further, especially since it just makes you hate me more. Sorry I'm not perfect. I apologized to the OP...and that is where this ends.

I see your point. Selling sand boas is different than selling ANY OTHER REPTILE ON THE PLANET! Judging from your statements here, I assume that your customers are friends? All local? And what does a "paper trail" have to do with this scenerio? Don't trust anyone? K.

Wow! Addressing my points would have more beneficial to you than having a meltdown. And I don't know why you think I could possibly hate you more, when I don't hate you at all. There are two ways you could have addressed my posts. One way would have benefited you. You and the OP have officially apologized to each other. I don't agree that both needed to. Just my opinion. Sorry I hurt your feelings and I mean that.

For someone who was/is offended due to, Allegedly, being judged, by what others have said in this thread (not fact, your opinion), you sure do not seem to have any problem lumping all members/owner/moderators, of this site, into one very negative category based on being upset at what only a couple/few people have said.SMH
 
I can certainly understand how the buyer thought a deal was struck. I've been on the other side of this issue as a seller, when I had an offer on an animal that a local buyer was interested in. I forgot about the first party's initial verbal commitment. Because of this, I told the local party that I had a prior commitment, and would he be willing to take another comparable animal. He agreed. This is not to say that it was exactly the same situation, or that I am in any way better than the seller. It is, however, possible to inform interested parties about the status of the sale. Not difficult to say, "I'll give you a call after I finish up with parties that inquired before you".

Also, if the ad was only up for a day and a half, I don't think it's reasonable to say that the seller assessed one buyer to be more qualified over another. A friend likely saw the ad and she chose to sell to them......not saying this is fact, but certainly more plausible.

Had the seller simply said this to each party who inquired, this thread most likely would not be here.
 
I can definitely see why the OP thought he had a deal, but in the end this was nothing more than a misunderstanding from what I can see.

Seller just makes sure she's clearer in the future and all is good. No harm, no foul.
