In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Amanda & Mike Webb of The Pet Gecko

I am thrilled to hear all your reptile babies are healthy.
I had no doubt as to the origin of the crypto, that was proven with the previous test results and the Webb's lies.

I don't breed Leo's, but I always recommend reputable breeders to my customers who want one. The Webb's are most certainly to be avoided and I wouldn't want to be near them at an expo.

I have not received a reply.
I vend with Repticon in NC, SC & GA; I have a feeling that they will be allowed to vend unless it hurts the company's bottom dollar. :(

It might be a good idea to contact other vendors who vend at Repticon at the same shows as the Webb's. If I was a gecko breeder, I'd not want to be at the same show as their sick animals.

Maybe post this thread to Repticon's Facebook page? If there is enough public pressure they may not allow them to vend but otherwise imagine if the Webbs pay the fee for the space Repticon will let them vend.

We had a repticon last month that the Webbs were listed as coming and I linked this on a couple of fb pages asking if they were still coming and saying I wasn't going if so. A local repticon coordinator pm'd me telling me the Webbs had cancelled. But that was them not repticon so I think it's up to us to put pressure on each show. Linking this thread on local Facebook repticon pages is a great way.
Let's face it, a lot of people would have to refuse to go to make up for how much the Webbs pay for their tables and sadly I think repticon is more about the money than the local people that put shows on.
So every reptile show in your area you will have to ask if they are on the vender list and link this thread with the question. It's the only way IMO.

I find it sad that a show would risk the health of animals to make money. I agree that pressure needs to be put on each show that they are planning on attending.

Angela, I'm so happy that all your tests came back clean. Hopefully now your season can start and you can bring in the animals you've been waiting on.

I don't think I'm alone when I say that if I KNEW OF ANY BREEDER with even a table CLOSE to the Webbs (or any other confirmed breeder/seller harboring crypto), at Repticon or another event, they'd be on my do not buy/do not sell blacklist.

Crypto could take out an entire collection.

I'll admit. Crypto is scary. I had nightmares for weeks over this, wondering if I'd accidentally spread it to my other geckos.

I do not know if the Webbs will ever choose to vend locally again, but should they do so, I will be linking show organizers to this thread. Repticon may choose to do nothing, but I'm hoping the Central Kansas Reptile Expo in Park City is unwilling to associate themselves with a vendor who seems to be so completely lacking in customer service when it matters most.

All I can say after reading that whole thread is "WOW"...I've talked in person with them before and looked over their animals but never purchased just because I had that 'feeling' that something wasn't right. I didn't really like the way they were towards me, that almost false friendly feeling...Glad now that I stuck with my gut feeling.

Also YAY for no spreading! I've had the unfortunate luck to deal with crypto in the past and lost 3 baby dragons to it at the time. It's scary for sure.

I was willing to still give them some benefit of the doubt but after the back and forth contradiction and Mike's severe lack of professionalism I personally will NEVER purchase from them. Amanda may have never posted directly here but through screen shots I was not impressed with her either.

AND as a last note, they ARE on the schedule for repticon DENVER. They also attend every Rocky Mountain reptile expo and are rather active on a couple of the reptile groups for Colorado.

Gah! I am SO upset to see that they are going to Denver Repticon April 5th/6th. That's NOT enough time or them to have quarantined their collection. I don't want to have to be even more paranoid than usual about picking something up from the show.

Honestly, at this point, I would not go to a show if I knew they were vending. I doubt I would bring anything home from just being there, but I'm paranoid. I definitely would not vend at any show with them. Shows would have to ban them if lots of vendors started pulling out because they were there. I would think banning one vendor to save many others would be worth it for them financially.
