    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

If there really was a Bad Check then your "Lawyer" should know that writing a bad check in the state of Pennsylvania is a crime punishable by jail! So lets see the bounced check! It seems to me that Micheal may have forgot a few things (hey, it was a while ago !) But He is trying to show some proof! not just I'm letting an invisbile lawyer handle this!

Show us the bad check! if there really is one Michael would have been arested by now! also I have never met, or done business with either of these people! I just want to shift the burdon of proof! Just because michael did not keep good records should not mean that he is the bad guy!

the email i posted is one of the actual emails and the receipt for the money order is the actual receipt. the UPS receipt is the actual receipt with all correct tracking numbers. all dates are correct. i have no invoice from him or anything because i recieved no snakes from him, the invoice i posted is the actual invoice from where i bought the animals. what else do i need to post to prove this actualy happened.
 
Stay quiet and gather "proof"

I'm not saying that you're wrong....just trying to offer words and directions that nobody else is doing to this point. The other guy (john, stuart, whatever his name) is clamming up behind "the lawyer." Take a few days to get the info you need on your end and then go from there.

Okay, you have the current paperwork together and that's a good thing. Keep in in some sort of envelope or file and lets see about gathering the rest. It is readily available but might take a few days. As long as you're in the right, then it's no big deal.

1. Using the receipt from the original money order, contact Western Union for a copy (front and back) of the cashed money order which should show the information you're stating. This may take quite a bit of time.

2. Go through UPS or whoever the shipping company was and get copies of any and all paperwork that goes with the shipment. Your receipt in hand should be your ticket to the info, expecially since you're being accused of wrongdoing and threatened with a lawyer, which indicates legal action.

3. A bad/bogus check is being charged by the other party. If any check was involved (haven't followed this close enough to decipher everything that went down,) then contact your bank, or if they still send you cancelled checks...your own records, and get a copy of the check showing that it cleared your financial institution without any problems.

4. Once you have all of this, be willing to take the earlier advice on how to post everything here. Place the entire burden of proof on the other guy.

This is already a total mess, but you can save it for yourself with exactly the "right" information posted. Otherwise, be willing to concede defeat on this one. Since I don't think you're wanting to do this, you've got to take the active role in setting it right and gathering every scrap of paper on the deal will go a long way in proving your point.

Good luck and hope this whole mess works out one way or the other.

tracked money order

I just contacted western union money order inc. they told me the money order was cashed on Oct 15, 2003 , then for the location they gave me list of numbers for where it was cashed, then they said the location was on the outskirts of Houston, they told me that a copy of the money order will be sent back to me in 3-6 weeks.
 
Bad Deal??????

I've sit back and read all the coments on BOI..........This is my side of the story. Back in SEPT. of 03 I was selling some 100% het Boas for a friend. I was contacted By this Mike Williams wanting a pair.He said he had some 66% hets, I didn't want them but my friend said he would trade for them +150.00 a snake.Deal was made.......A couple of days later we recive a Mexican Boa that was sick With a R.I.,I contacted Mike
Williams & ask what was this & Where was the other snakes & money, he stalled around with some story about shipping in a day or so.Two days later he calls & all his Boas are sick with RI, I explain to him what he can try & then ask where is the rest of the money & other snakes are.Three days later WE recive another Mexican Boa shipped from Pa. By Fed Ex ground,sent the same day the other snake was.Of course its in the high 80's &low 90's in Texas we recive it DEAD. Plus another $75.00 money order. Mike was contacted & told what was recived & he gave us a story about messing up when he shipped.Now I'm sitting here with with 1 dead snake, another almost dead & $150.00 in money orders..........I call Mike & ask him what he wants to do, because these snakes aren't what he siad they were, WE expected(.BCI's).They were sick Mexican Boas & I told him he needed to go back to who ever he bought these from & request his money back.Anyway the deal was made for him to send another $150.00 for the pair of 100% hets, We recive a check for 150.00 and the shipping address. I ship the pair & all I hear from him is they didn't recive them, He gave us the wrong address......Lucky enough My Son works for Fed Ex & we were able to find them & have them shipped back to Houston airport........WE contact Mike again get a new address & ship again .Now we find out the Check is no Good................This kid starts calling saying he didn't recive thhe snakes, Fed Ex says they delivered. Now I'm out snakes & holding a bad check which has been turned over to a lawer to process.When all this is done legaley ,I'll post anything you want. But as of Now I had it with this kid from up north.Why after 6 months does all this BS start???????????Mike , Get your Stuff ready cause you have opened the door & I intend to follow this out to the MAX. Iwas willing to let it all drop as a deal gone bad,& take the loss..............Untill all legal aspects are done I'm through with you said & I said BS!!!!!

John, I thought your lawyer was handling this? What happened to that approach? I don't think if a lawyer was handling this matter you would still be posting here.

Also, Mexican Boas ARE BCI, just a different locale. ;)

Once again We were expecting Columbians,Not the Mexican's we get down here on the boder for $5.00 a piece...........Yes the lawers are handling this, If you were so smart you would realize that i'm in Texas & there are certian things that have to be done from different States. This thing has gotten so blown out of proportian because of every bodys comments, I was hoping to nip This in the bud right now & save Mr Williams & myself anymore BS!!!This is just a deal that went bad between two people, Iwas willing to take my losses & chalk this up as a deal gone bad. Anyone thats been around awhile has had them. Its not as bad as its been made out to be., But now it has to be Addressed to the END.Sorry if I'm not as smart as some of you Guys on here.I've been around for over 40 years Raising & handling snakes as a hobby, But when it stops being fun,Its time to move on.

with all proof from the snakes how can you continue to say they were mexican boas, does the pic i posted look like a mexican, i took that the day i sent him. i have done alot of reserch about you and every thing has not been good. the only this i want out of this is either my snakes or my money back. one or the other, thats not that had to do. come on your better than this. just hold up your part of the deal.

I have the snakes frozen in my Freezer, You want them back, Ok I'll send them to you.You Have bitten off more than you can Chew.The best thing that you can do is let this die down.As far as I'm concerned WE are done with each other.Your Threats are just getting you deeper, They are just like all the proof you had,NON-EXSITANCE............I'll do what it takes from my end to settle this the legal way.I'm sorry I got weak & got on here. Now, John, you have not been inconsistant here at all, but it seems as though you have (perhaps) inadvertantly shown Michael to be posting "proof" that has nothing to do with this event.

Michael first said that he had sent an original MO for $75, but then posted a pic of a MO for $100. John then points out the inconsistancy in Michael's posts, then he (Michael) said that he must have misspoken in the first post, or his memory was hazy.

Michael settles on the $100 figure, because, it seems, that is the amount for which he has a picture, never mind that it does not say "Western Union" on it anywhere! Someone else (sorry, I foget who just now) noted that Western Union MOs generally have "Western Union" printed all over the face. Michael says [hey, you're right!] and posts a pic of a Western Union MO for $110, which does not match any amount cited by him so far, and does not yet explain why the other MO for $100 STILL does not have "Western Union" printed all over it as it should, if Michael is telling the truth!

Now, John comes along and says implicitly that he got a first MO for $75, then "another $ 75.00 money order," meaning that he has received two MOs for a total of $150, which is impossible, if Michael were telling the truth!

So, either:

A) Michael was correct in his first post, and he did send the original MO for $75

or

B) Michael was incorrect in his first post, and he sent the original MO for $ 100


However ... either way, Michael is not telling us the truth, it seems!

If he did "A," then that picture of a generic $100 MO was purposefully posted in order to serve as a false piece of evidence, in an attempt to "prove" that Michael was telling the truth. I guess he thought we would not notice the discrepancy???

If he did "B," he still has no answer for why John's account is different, why John's account matches Michael's first version of the story, OR why that MO doesn't have "Western Union" printed all over it!

Michael, if you are telling the truth at all, you desparately need to get your facts straight, and try to post some real evidence (with explanations along side, so everyone can see what it is you are trying to prove with the post) to support your assertions. If you are lying to us, which, to be honest, I fear may well be the case, I would suggest that you come clean and repay John whatever you owe him from that bounced check.

would you like to see the date that the pic was taken, the money order receipt is authentic and can be tracked back to you. it is in the proses as week speak. a copy of it from western union inc. will be sent back to me and it will be posted. you say your gonna handle it legely, so will i. you have no evedence to prove any thing you say, you not even trying to. what does that say, you have none. you just want me to stop so you can get away with ripping me off. it will not happen. i will get some thing, the easy way or the hard way. you have my snake in the freezer, when you infact told me that you sold the first one to one of your friends. i'm trying to show data to suport every thing i say, but like i said i have done reserch on you and almost every thing is bad.

i sent two money orders but the first one was for $100, when i get a copy of it from western union inc. i will post it. the receipt from the money order does not have western union writtin on it. but on the back it has a web site that says westernunion.com i will post the back of the receipt. and infact you can check to see when and where it was cashed if you track the 11 digit number above the bar code. just like i did this morning.
 
I just thought I'd ads that when I have to buy MO's for ebay, I use Western Union and the receipt that was posted IS from a WU MO.

I'd also noticed that the posted receipt looked an awful lot like the standard for a Western Union MO, but decided to just let things play out, regardless. I figure that in the end, once all of the "evidence" is properly gathered and presented, then everyone will have ample opportunity to see and decide for themselves.

But I do know that in PA I pay my Lawyer $250.00 hr (far to much to try and collect on such a small amount) all he would have had to do is to fax a copy of a bad check to the pa state police and they would have taken it from there. The Idea that a lawyer would be sitting on a bad check is strange! furthermore I think that if he did not bounce the check then this forum would be enough to have you charged with slander! (maybe one of the Police Officers on this board could comment on this)
 
You can't be charged for Libel or Slander. Both fall under Tort law, not Criminal law.
 
You are not alone

I have been ripped off as well by John, Stuart McDonald. Don't feel bad though, he took me for over $5,000 and I am going after him until I get my money back. He basicly did the same thing to me, but then claimed the animals were sick. Then never returned calls etc. etc..... Anyway please email me directly if you have been ripped off by this guy as well. I am taking all legal action possible!
