In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

One of the emails that was being used was [email protected]. You might also see what 'contact us' email address is listed on her site.
Find out the sellers last name, shipping info and payment info.... she lives near Fort Hood (Killeen), Texas. I will google that and see where Jefferson is in relation to Killeen.

Jefferson is about 5hr from Killeen, anytime I was purchasing snakes I would try to find someone reputable, and verified. I'm too paranoid about doing private deals with unknown sellers nowadays, too many scammers and flat out liars.

Can you post a link or screenshot? We do have (most) of her snakes catalogued with photos and can see if any match.
Diana, she actually emailed me the list, the add just said snake collection must go. I'm not sure I can screen shot from my phone though.

It's pretty easy to get a disposable email address for free, but I think we got a few people around here that are smart enough to find out who owns it.

I've seen that ad..it raised flags as well.
Was never able to confirm/deny with 100% certainty it was her, but there were things that raised a LOT of flags about that deal.
That same ad was posted in Tallahassee FLorida's CL, but not anywhere in Tx for awhile.
The email was [email protected]
She stated she HAS a paypal account, but she preferred a money order made out to her business partner.
When asked why she was listing in FLA instead of Tx:
The last name is "Jones" and I have a few IPs that were associated with emails but they were registered to a google IP.
The photobucket acct associated with the photos was created Dec 21, 2010.
I will say, I can't see this being her, but there were a lot of flags, regardless.

I spent two days contacting this woman back and forth when her ad popped up in the Tallahasse Craigslist a month or more ago.
I doubt it is Ashley Caspillo. She sent me photos of nearly all the boas she had for sale and none of them matched any of the photographs that have been plastered across the net over the years. Also, the IP address did not match Ashley's and was not even in the Killeen area.
There are red flags regardless of if it is her or not though. One being that she wanted me to send a money order to her partner, but when I asked for a full name and address to that person, she refuted and stated she wanted to do PayPal instead. Her PayPal account is not verified by a bank account either.
The fact that she still has twenty animals a month later is also a red flag. I would avoid the person, honestly, but it is up to you.
