    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I believe alcohol/drug problem is one of the primary reason for Matt's behavior. Matt, please, get yourself some help before it's too late.

Hello Kelli,
I'm in Ft. Worth also. If that is the case then I will truly pray for him. My family and I try to go church as much as possible and yesterday we went baptism class so my 9month old can be baptized. I look back on the emails back and fourth between matt and me and I should have been the bigger person. I will continue to wait for my products or a refund in a timely manner. I just got finished reading all the post; and Kelli my heart is with you. Is he the reason for the changes in the gecko forum?

Not much has changed. I still can't make words out of this thread that haven't already been said. All I can do is just spread the word like anyone else :shrug01: It is indeed sad.

I hope he gets help. I know what a horrible way to live that can be, and if that is the problem than I hope he gets help. I would support Matt if he did that.
 
No No This is the Matt that i knew over a year ago . He said allot of crap about allot of good people,he's not on Drugs. Like most said he is showing his true colors . Calling a mans work place,thats another low ball strike. I know I have given him to many strikes all ready. I looked at his feed back on ebay it's just as bad. Take a look at some of the things he has wrote.

I wouldn't wait too long. As others have said, the USPS shipping info is probably just to cover his butt with paypal. There is only a certain length of time you can wait with either paypal or your credit card before they consider the purchase a done deal. I don't know if that is 30 days or longer, but you don't want to wait too long and lose your money just because you are willing to be patient.

This is part of Matts TOS that he depends on.
Cancellations of any order will be subject to a 35%
restocking fee
as your order is picked/ordered the same day it is placed.
There are no refunds on back ordered items, including thermostats as
soon as your order comes in we have put time into the order. Any order
cancelled will be refunded in store credit valid for 30 days, we do not give
cash refunds.
I highly doubt that this is a legal practice as there are federal laws protecting the consumer in these areas although I am by no means an expert.

You must provide a delay option notice if you can't ship within the originally promised time. The Rule lets you use a variety of ways to provide the notice, including e-mail, fax or phone. Well, much to my chagrin (I didn't search the forum first (DUH!!)), I placed an order with Matt back on 3/22 with the (now) known expected results. See the email thread below. I guess I got under his skin when I actually treated him professionally.... Gee, I wonder if I should really feel free to call, since my business is so greatly 'appricated' (sic). I opened a Paypal dispute just to make sure I get my refund.

Well, I guess the Paypal dispute worked....within 2 hrs of filing it, he has issued a full refund (pending clearance). Check out the email I got from this 'christian' right before he issued the refund.

I highly doubt Jesus has anything to do with his 'success' as his webpage states. I, on the other hand, will refrain from his baiting and call it a day.

Did Matt write that? LOL, I am sorry but that is so funny. It seems as if this guy is starting to lose it upstairs. Too bad he doesn't do this :shootfoot and aim a little higher.
