• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry BallBids.com?

So if anyone is so inclined and would like to join the cause This email has been sent to Officer Hamilton who is forwarding all emails to the Kentucky States attorney who well then take the appropriate actions. there is a local ordinance where they live that says this;
§ 91.096 OFFERING ANIMAL AS PRIZE OR AWARD.

(A) No person shall offer any live animal as a prize or award in connection with any raffle, protest, demonstration, promotion, or as an incentive to participate in any game, promotion, or otherwise.

Based on that it doesn't sound like any licenses they may have will matter. You can send this email along if you like the more people we get to report the better the chance of shutting down their scam.

Ballbids.com is operating out of Louisville Kentucky, Jefferson County. They are offering live exotic ball pythons as a reward or prize for participating in their auctions. They have also already raffled off a live ball python based on asking people to enter by liking their page.

Luke Day of Wisconsin apparently won that raffle. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=58300151

Kylie Rae https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1683237227 won a snake. A butter Ball python.

An unknown person by the name of nrvgonestop won 4 auctions in the same day at the same time. When asked if this person was them the FB account for this name was taken down and all contact info was removed for him. It was stated that he was a teacher out of Illinois.

Mason Hall won another snake. https://www.facebook.com/FredricMasonHall

All snakes were to be shipped today. 12/12/2011

here is who they are http://www.ballbids.com/page/about-us

This is their auction website http://www.ballbids.com/

This is their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/BallBids

On top of stating they do not need a license for this there is question as to if they are winning the auctions themselves. They have stated that they do not have proper quarantine practices or space.

There is also question as to if they are scamming and these people are actually them or their friends

Thank you for looking into this

Well, I popped onto their FB, and it looks like they are giving up trying to delete comments and people off the page, at least for now. There is talk of those who have already won getting their shipments tomorrow, but they definitely working as hard to control everyone on the page. There are a ton of people asking to see their licenses, and they of course are being evasive and refusing to show any of that. If as many people are calling the authorities in KY as they are saying they are, they are probably getting a decent number of calls on them. It should be interesting to see how things pan out in the next few days.

I think they are just a couple of young guys, out to try and make a quick buck. They didn't give much thought or consideration into how to run/own a business or everything involved in it. I think they just expected everyone to jump on board and to make as much money as possible in as little time as they could. They tried hard to deal with people questioning them, and I think Avi stayed cordial and tried to be as positive as possible. It seems like ever since Zack got involved in dealing with people, that's when the banning began. His mentality seems to be that those outspoken people need to be silenced, and that's not a very effective way to deal with someone who could be a potential customer.

I gotta disagree.

They came out with pre-planned lies in place before they had even begun stealing pennies.

Then, when they got caught, they lied about it.

Then they lied about lying about it.

Then they had shills winning the bidding AFTER a server crash. (and yet avi is a programmer, hmmmm.....)

Then they lied about licenses.

Then they started removing any negative statements or questions on the FB page they started and invited people to join.

Then little zackeroni got really mad and threatened to sue Webslave. Or maybe that was before. Probably happened more than once, he was a whiner.

Then they're in to to take snakes to the little guy and help all of us improve our image. Thanks for that guys, BIIIIIIG help there.

It will continue until they're put out of business.

My original prediction of June was off by about six months. Should be by the end of this week.

BallsBids site is down for now..

They claim they are doing site repairs

They say the Kentucky laws dont pertain to them cause business is registered in FL.

Do they not know FL residence require to have a Permit for The selling of Animals..

They have apparently given full refunds to all who participated including the winners of the snakes, and they are giving the snakes to the winners as gifts. I think this action has been forced, comply or face prosecution, but I'm still waiting to hear confirmation on that, I should know in a couple hours.

Well I said to give em a week and man, what has happened in that one week! I am still lost for words on what to decide on these guys. I still see too many red flags, but the illegal operation in not only kentucky, but also florida (i believe someone already hit that if the business is registered in Florida you also have to be a resident of the state you operate from.). I agree if all the legalities hold they will be shut down soon.

As much as I'd love to see more evidence it has always been nrv. If you go back all the screen shots have that spelling.
