She said she would want video proof of any death not of the whole thing being opened. I opened the box and saw some death, and began to video tape. I thought it looked okay at first, but found it odd that there was only the one egg crate. Again, another reason to start taping. I was doing this myself, and just did not start the second video until after slicing the tape, but not opening the box. That's just how it happened. If I was trying to set this up, carefully re-taping a box prior to the video would of been an easy thing. That's just not the case.

Where is the whole deal confirmed all the totals she's said she was only sending 13000 nymphs 1500 females/200 males 2500 med

Based on the following quote, she claims to have already weighed out 13K nymphs, with her helper being responsible for counting out some unspecified remainder. The context clues appear to support what the OP is saying.


Is it just me, or are the two following statements very contradictory? First, she claims to have counted out the vast majority of them herself. However, the text appears to be making the case for this mystery helper having been responsible for counting them. If Barb had indeed counted nearly all of them herself, as she claims, it'd make no sense to bring the helper into it, considering that the helper was supposedly only responsible for a small percentage of nymphs. Things just don't seem to add up on her end.

"I hand counted 1000 adult females my self 200 adult males 2500 mediums by hand and about 13000 small nymphs in weight. i had a friend finish because my mother is in the hospital and i needed to leave. I then came home and shipped on Tuesday and i had consent from the seller to do so.

No nothing is missing. Like I said, this text is from the start and is about 3/4. There are some more that I will have to upload. Yes I have the written agreement sent by Barbie. We also talked on the phone outside of the text to confirm the deal, and when she wrote, 10,000 instead of 15,000 + I texted right away as you can see. That is what I am referring to in the text were I said I was sitting down to pay and was concerned she wrote 10,000 even though we had discussed 15+ and for the money, closer to 20,000. I said we would have to figure something out if they came up short, as she did not have a firm number on the babies, whether it was less than 15 or closer to 20,000. She said that was okay in her next text. so I went ahead and paid. She than reconfirmed that number in the 3rd set of texts, when she said she was adding additional breeders to make up for the shortage of nymphs, as she thought her numbers were closer to 15,000 not 20,000. So that is how we get from 10,000 in the written agreement, to 15 - 20000 as was discussed on the phone, and confirmed in text by me and by her.

The $ might not add up to your calculations, but that is what was agreed upon, as this was a large transaction and discounting was giving accordingly.

I'm trying to understand the op responded to an ad for $.5 females
And paid a good price for females,males,and med but then under wholesale for small nymphs
One of the disagreements seems to be the count in the nymphs
Barbie says 10k was written op says 15k

I would say there are three big disagreements. 1) I was supposed to get 1850 females, received around 800 alive, about 150 dead. Far from 1850. 2) I was supposed to get 2500 mediums and received 600. 3) I was supposed to get 15+, closer to 20,000 baby nymphs and I got 3000. That about sums it up. I attached a screen shot of a PM within Fauna. Once I received this, the next text I sent, questioned the 10,000 babies and referred to our phone conversation about 15+ and closer to 20,000. She agreed to that, and then referenced the 15,000 number in the 3rd set of texts.

and 10000 nymphs you got 3k and the extra was to make up the 2k difference from 15k
about $200 so the refund your asking is around $800?
