    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I agree, starting the thread without proof was a poor decision on the OP's part. But coming right out the gate and threatening with a neg is about as childish as it gets and bordering abuse of the karma system. These are the sort of things that lost us that privilege in the past. Personally, I like being able to choose whether to give them Karma, or take it away.

That was NOT a threat, I was actually joking, because so many people worry about this so much, and a play on how everyone responded the first time I did it. :rofl:
 
technically i just spoke my mind on the matter so that maybe people would take into account and ask more questions weather they belive me or not. you all started going into person (post your class schedule and dont you have rats) how does that fit into this... it doesnt actually because that doesnt matter. also my fine has nothing to do with animals. i was pulling out of a parking lot and totaled the rear of someones car so i have to pay damages if i do business with a company i do reaserch first (find the good and the bad). this allowes me to see what others have claimed so i can question the company myself. if no one puts out these warnings proof or no proof someone may do business with a company and get scammed or get a bad/ infected shipment. its only common logic to do research on what others have said and then question the people your dealing with. i know i do blind business with a company who doesnt seem to have good or bad reveiws... at least none that i can find on animal specialties. when i got hired their location popped up on google maps as a printshop company. (how new are they)

This shouldn't be a thread about beating her up - She is young, and even if she's lying or not I know what it's like to have a big heart, especially for animals, and want to do the right thing when you perceive they are being treated poorly.

YES, she should have come here with more proof before saying something, SHE even admitted that, however, this has drug on and on and on and on pointlessly and the bottom line is i believe regardless of the way she did it I think she was TRYING to improve the animals' quality of life and let others know about the situation. Had I been in her shoes, I probably wouldn't have posted it here, but I would have alerted SOME ONE to what I perceived was bad care and let that person with more experience go in and take a look around and call whoever they need to call.

She knows she should have posted proof. She may have had other reasons for it, and she may or may not be lying - nobody here will know until they walk in that building and see for themselves.

Elizabeth, you didn't give anyone ANYTHING to go on. So; therefore, because of the circumstances your words were suspect. If you could have proven ONE thing in any of all the things you said, rather than expecting instant belief, that would have helped establish at least that you MAY not be lying.

So far, from past posts/threads by you, I personally wouldn't take your word for anything and smearing someone's business goes beyond crying about some Negative Karma.

You are trying, imo, to justify posting this kind of post without evidence...AFTER you got fired/laid off or whichever it was.:rolleyes:

You've done what you intended to do and posted your Bad Guy/Warning about this company. At this point, all you're doing is swinging blindly at anyone who responds to this thread. Let it go.

Actually I was referring to another misdemeanor - one that is public record that is totally different from backing into a vehicle. I just wondered if thatone might have had any bearing on your lay-off.
 
I don't remember rightly, but have you told the company about this thread so they can come out and talk to us as well? It would seem only fair to give them a chance to talk about their practices. I am sure everyone here including yourself would like an option to straighten any thing out if something like this came up.

I think, IMO, that people asked for class schedule to prove at least one part of her story, her class schedule prevented her from working there full time and that is why they let her go. She was also posting about how she didn't have money to pay a court fine which is why people were talking to her about selling her animals, snakes, rats, cats, whatever. Even though she didn't provide evidence of her claims we were still here offering suggestions of what she could do, sell her animals, to help pay that fine. we have only been adamant about the proof because those are large claims to make, her working for a breeder and they were breeding reptiles with problems.

None the less, i think it should only be fair that the people be given a chance to say their piece on this subject.
 
no it wasnt and that was past fine. that one was taken care of and that was a mistake i made myself and only myself. i learned from that and have moved on. this fine was for totaling the back of another car. i have not been driving long and the traffic in chico can be hectic. i freaked out. and no it wasnt baring on my lay-off. they do did not do any background. if you can function with the job they with hire you. certain places do not require a background check here in chico. the boss also said he would keep my paperwork and resume on file in case he needed a parttime working. in which case ill be more prepared with a camara for proof. once obtained no matter how old this post is i will upload that as evidence because i doubt what i saw will change

to clear things up better, the shoplifting happened in august, the fine was paid off the day i went to court and got it. it still upsets me because it was a bad last minute choice i made and im not like that. that fine was a light fine because it was first offense. i hit the car mid september and now ive gotta pay the price to fix what i totalled and i will. its just a little harder to pay for gas. rent, college, and to fix that persons car without a job.im paying monthly so im trying my hardest to make it all work. even selling my own item to scrownge up the money.

That's what I was thinking... Why would anyone hire someone like you back, who's made their intention to smear the name of their company clear? Understand, Elizabeth, that even if you are telling the honest-to-God truth, you have no proof and this is coming, by your own admission, after being "laid off". It looks really, really bad and you've made it worse by throwing a pity party.

Now I know this is getting back to the whole personal life thing rather than the topic of posting inflammatory information about a business with no proof to back it up, but, I do have one question in regards to the above post.

Now if you are living on your own, paying your own rent, etc. then how exactly would your pets also be considered your parent's pets? I know when I left home nothing of mine was still considered my parents, it was mine, plain and simple. So this really just makes me think more along the lines of maybe you aren't quite living on your own as free and clear as you say you are(ie. actually still living at home). I mean it is a pretty big contradiction there. Unless of course I'm just reading too much into it. :shrug01: But to re-iterate, I don't know too many people who consider something a pet of theirs when it doesn't even live with them. :rolleyes:

OP: You posted you worked there 2 weeks, then 4 days. You admitted you took pics of healthy animals, but didn't take any pics of the "deformed, injured, sick" animals. You worked there just fine, despite all the alledged bad conditions, and ONLY decided it was a atrocious place to work after you got fired(or laid off).

You then have gone on to present no evidence, whine that people WANT proof, spout off how you don't care about the site, then proceed to call anyone who won't blindly accept whatever story you're spinning 'ignorant'.

THEN you're talking about how they might take you back? It's a "reptile mill" and has all these illegal practices in hiring, deformed animals(which you were happy to take in before but now they're worthless trash because they're a different species?).. but you're happy to go work for them and take their money.

I mean.. can you comprehend how no one wants to believe you at all? Not to mention I hope you write your college papers better than you wrote that "resume" you posted here. I'm not talking about your posts, since you keep saying you're a bad typer. I mean where you posted the supposed resume to get hired.

Take some time to type correctly, re-read your sentances, and try to post WHY anyone should believe you are anything other than a disgruntled ex-employee. A quick explanation of how you were happy to take pictures of healthy animals, while letting the crippled horribly deformed ones pass by as long as you were collecting a paycheck would help also.

The more long drawn out paragraphs of "You should just believe me because I say so" and "I was laid off" and all has nothing to do with why people should believe you, especially if they've followed anything else you've posted, and especially when it's so hard to follow what you're trying to say because of the lousy "typing" skills. You're in college! Make an effort! If the animals are really in such danger and horrible shape, shouldn't they be WORTH you taking the two minutes to type out the reasons in a clear and coherant manner?
 
i am bad with my months. i undercounted. sorry i thought we were still in october since i havent changed my calander. oh well and how does my prior misdermenor pertain to animal specialties. quit going off topic and prying into my personal life... do you have nothing better to do than look up peoples backgrounds. i was not laid off because of that or anything haveing to do with legal issue. they stole money from my paycheck today too. its $5o less than my hours say it should be and its written out in a personal check with no proof of tax deductions
