When I am expecting a delivery I watch the clock and driveway like a hawk. It's still like Christmas morning for me to get a new package. If I have to be in another part of the house, I leave notes on the door to BANG on door, ring bell till I answer, etc etc. I've even left the phone sittin on top of the doorknob with a note telling the driver to call my cell so It will vibrate if I'm in another past of the house. And on the rare occasion I'm not fast enough and he leaves before I can get the door,(which is one time in 5 years) I call UPS, have them call the driver with my # and when he calls me, I find out where he is going to be next and meet him there. There's no shame in signing for a package in a parking lot......

You made up a half dozen excuses as to why all of this is Erik's fault which is pure crap. I just gave you a half dozen reasons why it's yours.

What purpose did that serve? I'll tell you what it served, a couple of brethren who now have a police record for showing up at my table and threatening a minor who was working their, to bad I wasn't there but my partner was and gave them a nice surprise before handing them over to the police. But as anyone can see, I'm not doing that here - I wouldn't sink as low as you. I'm just pointing out the consistency of lies and viciousness that Wendy and Jeane perpetrate when they conduct their lack of professionalism.

Eric, this thread is about a transaction between Eric Reptiles and Wendy. However, you want to constantly stir the pot with useless drivel that is UNRELATED to this transaction. My post was not only placed upon the appropriate thread but it was relevant. Because, if you DID do the things you were accused of doing (which have not been proven to the contrary) then the officers would obviously want to track you down. If you cannot see the relevance in that then YOU are the one who is suffering from low IQ. To further expound on that point, if you would reread my post in question, you would realize that it was made in an effort to help show future readers what Wendy was accused of vs being lost in your attempt to bring the thread down by bashing her.

I just dealt with Jean and Wendy last week. Let me start by saying that I have nothing against either party, Erik has a great reputation, and in my experience with Jean and Wendy they are very trustworthy.

I would just like to weigh in that, last week, when shipping to Jean and Wendy, they specifically asked me not to use UPS, but to use USPS instead. It seems to be a major crux in this debate whether or not they regularly ask people shipping to them not to use UPS, which in my experience was absoultely true.

Here is a history of our emails. Most recent at the top, first correspondance towards the bottom.

It will be black marker and the box will a USPS Priority Box (ill check to see if I have any express boxes to use, will update you on that before shipping). It will be taped with printed tape that reads: This Carton Has been Quality Inspected.. plus Ill be sure to pop plenty of holes into it for you.



Dont bother with the echeck on this one, although thats what I usually do, Im hurting for some supplies so I wont worry about it this time!

Ok She had to double check what flight that was. She works at the USPS plant for Idaho, Montans, Oregon, and Washington. Her best friend is head of the priority/express section. Most folks dont know usps contract through fed ex does all their priority/express.

If you can go to the PO and get a free box, or use
one you have and ship express
overnight. You can make the label right online and pay and print at www.usps.com and even scedule a pick up if wanted. or drop it off at the po.. You dont have to wait in line when a label is made. Just call to be sure of the last pick up for the main processing plant time. It's usually 3ish- 4ish. I can walk you through a label if you want. And if you have a cool bright marker or stickers or something you can put on the box so she can find it easy on the plane unload That flight gets in at 3am with the others!

We use their boxes that are priroty for free, but they go via the express label. We poke pencil sized holes all over and mark them "parishable", Different stations will say you can or you cant ship "live". Technically through article 52 you can. But sometimes its not worth the argument We understand they may say you cant, so we wont hold you to a guarantee to ship this way. But
its better
for us, and for them less box time. 1-2 pounds is $18.80 that automatically includes delivery confirmation and is trackable online!

LOL sorry.. the email with the subject: parent animals, are the parents of all those. The email wuith the subject line: todays hatch
are the newest animals I had hatch that I can sell. The pics of the
two little orange blotches and the female are the animals we initially talked about.. ruddy is just another word for reddish. Ill just send along pics of everything I have for sale atm!b First pic is oldest orange blotch baby, second is second oldest orange blotch baby ($60 each), 3rd pic is the pinkish female (need $100 on her) and the last pic, I have
the two babies
left that are out of the egg there available still, one is a yellow retic and one is an orange blotch. All of these animals were incubated male, however its my experience with gargs that even at the proper temps you only end up with about 50%
males. Let me know if that clears the confusion for you guys !

Wow. Wendy has the gall to complain about Erik's shipping methods when she uses the Priority Mail boxes provided by the post office (NON insulated) and poke "pencil sized holes all over" the box. She was making a huge deal earlier in this thread that Erik did not mark his box "Live"! I have to say, that really, really irritates me.

Let me chew on this price for a minute. The 550 is closer to where i need to be., But I want the yellow one too. 300 though, ouch I just got 2 yesterday from kevin for $200 shipped. So that minused my budget. He gives me good deals cause I buy alot I wanted one on AC today, but didnt get it cause it was $250. I know pins are spendy, but I am doing my best to do this on a budget. Main stopping problem is, it's yellow. My male pinner is lavender and blond, and to put her in with the yellow harem would be a damn waste. Wonder what lavender and yellow makes???? Even seen any?Take a look and tell me what you think. This was a baby pic. He is 8 months now. I want to get this all together for next year. I want 10 really nice females. I'll resell whatever doesnt fit the bill.

Ya, I am actually not looking for any creamsicles... I have produced 4 that are already adults and possibly more that arent full size adults showing adult coloration yet...
Ya, Well if you just want the younger group that would be fine or if you want the pinner... Although I already said this but I wanted to tell you again that the pinners are about 1.5 months old and the yellow pinner is about 5-6 months old.. Although I cant guarantee sex on any of them....
PS: I am going to one of my friends house tomorrow morning and she has a loupe... I could bring the yellow pinner and see what sex it is for you?

If you look at my gallery page I have 2 females that are amazing. Then 4 others I call "projects" . The male I think is more of a B grade. I wish his base color was a tiny bit richer.The ones I have listed are my first. I discussed it at lengh with Calrk. Matt, Kevin, ect. They all think 3 of the 4 look VERY promising, and Clark thinks the one that looks a bit yellowy is the best. I wish I had the room to hold on to them.
I didnt understand if there are different species of Mossy tails? Thats neat that there are colors and patterns.So those Mossies I saw, why do their noses look so long in that photo compared to the ones I see yp all the time? I liked the ones I saw. Color and all. Like a big piece of Frog Moss. Are you selling any?

Maybe you had infinite phone calls with Erik discussing DHL, although he says there were none. Maybe you thought that it was discussed in some manner and that all was understood, but clearly it was not understood, whether it should have been or not. Without the emails to confirm it, you have to lump it. I made the point in an email yesterday, that short of proof or a nod from Erik that DHL was agreed upon, you had no claim IMO about carrier. If proof of these conversations exist, then I hope that you find it. My gut tells me that if Erik truly understood your difficulties with UPS, something would have been worked out. In the defense of UPS, they did get there in the AM, if only fleeting perhaps. I cannot say that you did not believe that you had indicated something to him about it, but it may have fallen into the miscommunication category where the person talking has the obligation to be sure that the person "listening" truly got the message. Simple redundancy can work wonders in avoiding miscommunication.

I am not at all dissuaded in my initial position that Erik could have done better than by coming to the BOI when he did, even if I am the only one in the building holding that belief. But I am also a firm believer in that, before you go after the accountability of others, you have to have toe'd that line pretty well yourself. There are many weaknesses in an "I have excuses for my ignorance, but he should have known better" argument. Think about the UPS Center as an alternative in the future, as its hard to ship and receive without having to see them again. We learn and get better.

Hey Wendy, care to explain why you ripped Erik a new one about his shipping practices, but your own e-mails show that you are OK with shipping in non-insulated boxes with a bunch of holes poked in them, marked perishable, specifically not marked "Live Animals", also how come when you were instructing the other guy on how to ship on the cheap, with sub-standard packaging and false labeling, you didn't bother to tell him to use a cold pack? Is this one of your perceived "industry standards" as well?

GEXX , I find it very funny that Wendy and Jeane would ask you to ship USPS when they are running around throughout reptileauctions.com saying that it is illegal to ship live geckos with USPS.

GRIZ, You say I have no right to post my oppinion in this matter. In the beginning all I had to say was about the transaction that was made. I didn't come in here and start trashing people nor did I mention anything about the thread that Wendy started the other day about Eric Webber. And if you look back to page 3 or 4 or so and then follow the thread from there you will see that after I was being trashed by Jim F (Cham Co) and the stuff was brought into this thread from the other thread by Jim F (Cham Co) pretty much everyone else has repeated what I had said in the beginning.How she should have had her butt outside waiting on the package knowing that her UPS driver wasn't very professional and was good at the drop and run tactics.

The "DHL" discussion is fleeting in the emails, and certainly not presented as a "UPS red flag". Unless there is a missing communication, it just doesn't make the threshold that Erik should have seen it as taboo, just that you didn't like them if you had your druthers.

Here's another direct question for you Wendy, I'll type slow so that you can follow my logic here....

1) It's been established that you knew a UPS shipment was enroute.

2) You had a tracking number for said shipment (You can type the tracking number in their website and it will tell you if your package is on a truck out for delivery).

3) You stated yourself that you have had problems in the past with the UPS deliveries (from all the people you refuse to do business with that ship UPS).

4) You stated yourself that you have a 5000 sq. foot house with castle like doors that make it nearly impossible to hear a knock from anywhere in the house but the room nearest the door.

5) You stated that you are unable to watch the door for the entire time (1 hour and 37 minutes from when the delivery left UPS to when they attempted delivery at your door) because you needed coffee.

6) You stated that there was more than one person in the house with you at the time the delivery was attempted. She couldn't bring you coffee during that 1 hour and 37 minutes, or watch the door for you while you went to get the coffee?

So I ask you, with all this knowledge at your fingertips, and your self proclaimed concern for the well being of the animals, how is it that you missed the first delivery attempt? And how is it Eriks fault?

I look forward to seeing how you answer this question, as I'm sure are many others....

Actually, one point you missed is the one that I find most entertaining. Wendy stated that she could not hear someone knock on her door from where she was. And yet, she was able to "hear" the truck pull away from the street outside.

Am I the only one who finds this ridiciulous?
