• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Beware of Jeane Best & Wendy Childs

Okay, just looked at my emails... positive picture proof of the gecko's death wasn't sent to me until Saturday, WAY outside the 3 day guarantee.

"I will spare you all the in between pics. Here is when she arrived thin. I also have the arrival of the other. And in the deli cup in the fridge. As you can see she is a bit decomposed/sucked in looking.More so than when she was alive. This happens very quickly after death. This pic is several hours after death. She passed after I finally went to bed at 4 am ish. I discovered her at 10am.

I didnt just send them before. I didnt know if you would want to see them."

Here is the pic of the dead gecko that she sent me:

Here is a pic of the gecko before I mailed her out (sorry, it's kinda dark):

She also claimed the other gecko I sent her was infested with worms... but, low and behold, it was posted on her website as a breeder before she took the sites down... and looked perfectly healthy.

NOTE: Paypal says that with the tracking number I provided, USPS is saying the package is still in transit. But, if you click on the tracking number, it clearly shows it was received. Is this just a processing message?

Thanks everyone!

Wait... Im confused... If she had the gecko in her care for a day or two or three why was the picture of it in a deli cup?? Is she housing them in deli cups?? I am just curious as to why the picture of it dead is in the deli cup........

thanks Erik

So she put the refund amount in for BOTH geckos with paypal and not just the one that died? What a piece of work these two are. They are rip-offs, scam artists and thieves.

It seems every deal they have there is some kind of problem. I truly wonder how many people they have ripped off. The list seems to grow weekly.

Yes, she put in a refund for the full $190 ($75 per gecko and $40 for shipping). She's trying to get it all back.

You know, I probably would have given her the $75 if she had given a little time. But then she escalated it, brought paypal into it, made me do some digging---and I found out that I don't owe her ANYTHING.

Erik, it looks a lot like my gecko... but, you're right, having it in a deli cup makes me wonder. It almost looks like the gecko in the picture arrived that way... and Jeane did send me one other pic of the gecko I sent the day she supposedly received it, and it was most definately alive.

Here's the other picture she sent me, supposedly taken at the gecko's arrival:

Both of the pictures were sent in the same email, so there's no way to tell when one was taken.

Forward the emails with the pictures and I will look at the EXIF info and see if I can get the date and time the pictures were taken. If it's there, I can even tell what camera she used and it's settings.

The arrival pic was taken on 07/13/06 at 10:19 pm.

The dead gecko pic was taken 07/15/06 at 11:42 am.

They were both taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XT and they were processed with Adobe Photoshop 7.0. Photoshop was probably used to reduce the size.

Wow Dennis!!! How can you tell that out? If you want to PM me that would be great!

Thanks Erik

The "arrival" pic was taken a day after she said she received them, and two days after the tracking number and USPS said she received them. Nice...

Thank you, Dennis, I really, really appreciate that.

Also I guess I should point out we recieved another package today. One of the 5 packages I got from 5 different sources I purcahsed this week. This one arrived with both geckos perfect. Insulated. Not taped to death.Has a cool pack.Lots of newspaper shavings. Plenty of extra room. Even came way of usps.Imagine that! At even later than the ups package. My my my what a difference a proper packed package makes.
I am more than happpy to refer people to the ad where I purchased them if the buyer doesnt mind. I have sent an email asking.

Thanks, Denise. I didn't realize that was posted... she never sent me an email about that. Lol.

You know... the hole keeps getting deeper. I sit here wondering just how dumb these people can be. She's lied so much that I don't think she even knows what the truth is anymore.

I'm still worried, however, that the package was signed for BFS. I've emailed this thread to paypal, but it still bothers me.

Good work Denise

I remember that post but never would have matched them. Looks like her goose is cooked.

Lynn I would think you would only have to copy that one post and send it to paypal. It says it all.

wow....just how stooooooooopid can one be? Did they think no-one would notice all these connections and lies?

Then again, what can you expect from someone like that. Their past clearly shows the intelligence level we're dealing with.

Paypal has more then enough proof to throw their "claims" out immediately. As a matter of fact I would put in "counter claims" whereever possible. They are using paypal to scam people. Their account should be revoked immediately and they should be banned from paypal for life.

wow, its sad that i can come to this thread, and not only has it gotten worse, but noones even bothering to defend her anymore.

i cant believe i even doubted that this all was just one big freakin scam.

BOOO! Im done now.

Well they must be ok, they have no negative trader ratings. A system only works if you use it. Just like with TSE, you only help them by not accuratley giving them a thumbs up or down.

Most people won't read through every post and will click on their profile to see an unblemished trading history.....
