    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Perhaps Jimmy Horton has photos since he produced him. Or maybe Tony Hurt since he sold him to me. Anyway, Thank you everyone for your help in this situation. I only have one question left, what happen to the auction?

Bill you make it hard for me to dislike you. I dislike what you did, and I am pissed you let it go on this long. However, you have to be one of the nicest and non-confrontional guys that I have ever seen get busted. I hope you make it right for Lee. Making it right should not be just about getting him his money. You see, you cast doubt on Lee and his word, you lied to all of us, and most importantly, you made Ben yell at Wendy who was loyally defending you. :>poke2<: Seriously, I think the first thing you really need to do is to put some thought how you can make this right for Lee, and then secondly us.
 
I am speechless.. Just speechless. Wow. I never would of thought you are like this in a million years... I can't believe it.. Make me think about other things too.... Well I am surprised at how many people were opposing Lee from the start, I really feel bad for the guy.. Lee you did the right thing by posting this.. People started pulling their bids and I just pulled the Ad And Like I said up there somewhere I'm sorry That is all I can do today ..I told Lee in e-mail that his money will be in his Paypal Account Noon on 7/21 and he said when it arrives he will let you all know

There are not going to be beatings here, there were only self inflicted wounds. I’m sorry but it was not just the fact that you stole from Lee. It was that plus the chain of lies and deception you built around it to cover your tracks. The fact that in addition you used the BOI to support your sales (see quote):

Personally I’m not the “three strikes and you’re out” kind of guy. An individual that’s willing to steal money from another one cannot be trusted. It doesn’t matter the circumstances, it was premeditated. Some people in here may give you a pat in the back and tell you that as long as you apologized everything will be OK.

I’m sorry but that’s not the way I see it, and I wouldn’t be truthful to you or them if I did not openly manifest what I think. You made a very costly mistake. Time will tell if people will forgive. Forget? I wouldn’t count on it if I were you…

And as far as the return money to Lee goes, it is you that has to know it, not us.

I agree What I did was underhanded... Forgiveness maybe Forget That will never happen Its Ecthed here in stone now that is something I myself have to live with.
 
It's amazing what people will do when their back is against the wall. Or at least they think it is.

Bill, I hope things get better for you. Although I won't forget what you did, I can forgive. Your certainly not the typical "bad guy". It was apparent you were suffering from guilty conscience when you didn't except the full refund at the start. A typical "bad guy" would have taken the money and the snake. Then they would have hauled ass. You have a long road to climb before your in everyone good graces but it is not an impossible climb to make.

I commend you for admitting your wrong doings.

No need for that Ophis, although I do agree to some extent... But try and use a few euphanisms.. This just leaves me with alot of questions... Makes me wonder if he pulled this off on other people too, or atleast tried too... Makes me wonder about a few things from the past... I talk to him, like justcage does almost daily, and never would of thought of him being like this.. What compelled you do pull this off? Have you done it before?
 
i have to share dans sentiments---recently someone stole a green tree monitor from our shop--after another shop called with him selling it i ran up to that shop and detained one of the people involved in the theft-police came and everything. The little brother of the theif called his brother and said that the police were involved-so he head a third party drop the lizard back at my shop--later that night when we were filling out a police report asked why we were pressing charges when he returned the lizards?--i could not belive it---like he should be rewarded for returning something he stole--especially when he only returned after eminent capture was upon him. I thought long and hard about that and had to tell myself--if he had not gotten caught--i would never have seen my animal again---end of story--same goes here. If he was not completely busted--he would have sold that animal and went along his merry way. You know what-this guy that got caught stealing was 17 years old--and i would hope that he learns something and changes at a young age. We all have done stupid things in our lives myself very included in this group, but we hopefully learn from our mistakes and move on. Weather it is stealing or drugs or lying or any combination therein, you have to grow up at some point and start taking responsibility for your actions. I mean part of me feels that it is admirable that bill finally came on here and said--yes i did it-i am sorry-i have no exuses--but it had to be practically proven in a jury trial for him to do that---that sucks and should not be commended in any way whatsoever. Spouting every exuse in the book and saying wwjd and whatnot--that is so sleazy. Bill--you are a grown man and apparently have grown children. I am happy for Lee--i am happy to see this board do exactly what it was designed to do-and very well.

You obviously have strong feelings about this and it's great to share them but the name calling and insults are not needed.

People make mistakes. Some people can forgive, some never will. As Dan said he is not a 3 strikes and your out kind of guy. I am a 2 strikes kind of guy, call it a character flaw if you will. You and Dan obviously agree on this issue but at least he posted his feelings with a little tact.

This is indeed a sad day for someone who had been one of Fauna's finest.

Bill, you do need to answer the questions about whether or not this has happened before. You can be sure the answers will be crawling out of the woodwork momentarily and it would behoove you to come clean on your own.
 
I agree Jim.. There are things you have done in the past that made me wonder. Come clean and it will be ALOT better for you Bill...

I can't believe there are actually people who are taking it easy on a flat out admited scammer. Bill, you don't deserve the time of day. Ben you are right and Ive been here quite along time and I'm not looking for the pats on the back or Oh Bill is a stand up Guy ....Joe you are Right at this point in Time I am a scumbag....But it isnt something I practice believe that if you want ....And to answer your questions This was A one time only deal...for what its worth that is the truth.
