    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

BRANDON AT REPTIRUS- REALLY BAD GUY.

THis specific gecko was bred here last season and was just a awsome colored codom(2006 season). And i can also say with 100% confidence the gecko was perfect when sold, but of course that was a very long time ago. We have a very strict suppliment program here, as well as genetics from around the nation( defect free and the colony is tested monthly for parasites/crypto). I know brandon personally and beleive he will do everything in his power to make this right.

You know what? SOMEONE IS LYING. Which is the real story here? Who had the gecko and for how long? Pat, if you bred this female last season, now could Brandon have had her since she was 15 grams? How could this gecko's condition slip past TWO breeders? Please don't insult my intelligence any further.
 
I think Pat was trying to say that the gecko was BORN at his location last year. Just thought I'd try and help.
Well then, how could she be a 'breeder'? Did either Brandon or Pat ever breed this gecko?

I don't think anyone is lying. When I originally read the post I took a double look too but understood what question he was responding too.

Since I understand you were the original owner and breeder of this little gal.

I wish this had never happened, and I wish it was already over, and I do want what is best for this gecko.

After sleeping on it, I just want to return them both for a full refund and hopefully this can all be forgiven and forgotten on everyones behalf.

Again, I greatly apologize for ever posting on the forum before allowing time to pass. I was distraught, scared, and even thought I had been conned.

I hope we can all get through this and move on.

Im alittle confused here? This gecko was born here and was sold at a young age(15grams) and that was the last time i see her. When she left here there was no problems with the gecko. Im not lying about anything. This has nothing to do with me, I was asked the little bit i knew about the gecko and that was it.

A bit of a drama queen? Give me a break man, I have been trying to solve this since it was brought to my attention a 11 am yesterday.
As far as comming down on price, they were going to be future breeders for me, but then I started working on Cave Gecko projects, and seeing how the snow market keeps falling lower and lower. I once again repeat the fact that I did not know about this lump, if I did I would have never sent the gecko out. Do you really think I want to have to deal with this right now? If I could have avoided it I would have, but its kind of hard to avoid something that you never realized in the first place. I do not understand why I would be on your do not buy list. What have I done wrong here? I made a mistake and did not see a slight visual blemish on a geckos hip, im sorry I somehow missed it. But I offered to fully make this right, kept great lines of communication and everything. How am I in the wrong?

When he said bred here, he ment hatched here. He produced this female, which I purchased off of him, as a future breeder for me. To shed light on the breeding pair, I said that they were going to be FUTURE breeders for me, not that I had already bred them

Neither of us have bred this gecko, it was NEVER bred. It was sold as a future breeder, not a proven breeder
 
My last question for Brittany, one that totally boggles my mind. You say you either want a $200 refund, or a $400 refund. So why did you file for a $300 paypal dispute last night!? This is getting ridiculous, wait.... ITS BEEN RIDICULOUS SINCE THE FIRST POST. What are you trying to pull?

Brandon, you appear to be slightly ahead with regards to the general sentiment on this thread but continue with posts knocking Brittany while she's down and I suspect she will catch up pretty fast.

Not to ad any gas to this out of control fire, but I am the person who recommended that Brittney come here. To be fair, I was under the impression that this transaction had an ongoing struggle, and that Brandon saying "tough peanuts" to working through any issues. I had *no* idea that this had all occured JUST YESTERDAY within the span of a few hours. I take FULL responsibility for not asking the timeline of events. I completely apologize for what is now, very evidently, terrible, terrible advise. :( I am self applying 500 wet lashes with a noodle. :eek:

I truly hope an amicable situation can be worked out between both buyer and seller.
 
Brandon, Paypal will do nothing on this as they don't issue refunds for live animals. However, should she charge this back via her Credit Card (assumption made that one was used to begin with) then she will likely win.

They also don’t award partial refunds.

Brandon, My advice would be the same as the others. I can understand being upset that you received a bad guy thread about this before given the chance to rectify the situation. Really, I can. I was given one by a real bad guy just for spite, not even for a transaction. Even though it is irritating it’s better to look down the road then at the individual. If I felt I had a difficult customer right off the back and I would consider all of this happening within 15 hours of delivery a qualifier. I would rather just have my animals back from the person and be done with it. She did note the problem immediately even if we all agree she handled it badly.

If you decide to give a refund and a PayPal dispute has been filed then tell them that the request for money is a partial request of the total funds sent. My understanding is that don’t mess with partial refunds. Tell them you are waiting for the items to be returned from the buyer and then you will issue the refund. In the long run you will be out shipping but nothing more.

Of course it is your choice but I think it is a wise move.
 
As I once and for all want this charade to end, this is what I would like to see happen:

Upon Brittney relinquishing both geckos to Marcia's care as she has offered, I will provide a full refund to Brittney and wash my hands of her and the entire situation. After that, Marcia and I will discuss what will happen with these geckos between ourselves. I trust that with Marcia's experience, a little TLC will provide these geckos with the time they need to be safely shipped back to me, at my expense.

Thank you, Marcia for offering to help us with this situation. I especially appreciate your assistance with all of this and look forward to discussing the special care the female will require of me.
 
Conclusion

I agree with this solution.

We all want this little gecko to receive the care it needs and we know Marcia is an expert. If things had gone differently at the beginning and I had kept her I would definitely have sought her expertise.

I will contact Marcia to discuss this matter and decide with her what is the best next course of action. The paypal claim has already been concluded and I am relieved that this situation will be coming to an end.

Hopefully we can all move on and have a good Thanksgiving.
 
I am heading to work now. I havent received anything from paypal yet letting me know that the claim has been closed, but I will keep an eye out for it. I work 5-5 so I will not be able to post again until the morning. Hopefully Marcia is still ok with lending a hand in the situation, im sure she will be she is a great woman. Please let me know when ever you receive these geckos marcia, it is greatly appreciated. I will shoot you my phone number via PM so you can get ahold of me.
