    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

And, if you look at the sex distribution, only 5 males. That's reasonable considering females sell for more. Didn't he buy a large group of baby females from MnR Reptiles?
 
There are 3 more female het pieds

One of the above listed people also sold 2 females not listed. I didn't count those because I have no contact as to the current owners. Also the person I bought mine from had purchased 2 females. He sold one to me and one to someone else, but retained no records after getting out of the snake hobby. CT is still listed because it sounds as if he knows who he sold to and will handle it responsibly from his end.

That was the first thing that I found odd in one of his ads. All the animals posted for sale were females. Where were the males? Yes, I can understand that sexes in clutches are far from being always 50:50 but when your are talking of a larger sample of a normal population, distribution tends to favor both sexes. In thirty animals you should have close to 15 females and not 26. But hey! Anything can happen in biology ;) But then I thought if someone is going to get into trouble selling males why not do it with females that approximately sell for twice as much.

If Bruce was caught with stolen animals. He could be charged with possesion of stolen property. Fraud, filing a false police report.

I believe there is enough on Bruce to file a report on Bruce for fraud. Where do i go or who do i contact to do so.

It's not impossible to get so many 100% het pieds if you have a pied male or two. Because you could breed the male or two to many normal females. It may seem to be unlikely but it is possible. At least I hope he is on the up and up. But I kinda figure he screwed us all. maybe we can figure this mess out. I just wonder if Bruce and anyone he says he is is so stupid to sell 100% hets and think it won't catch up with him. Truthfully all he had to do is sell 50% and 66% hets and he could have gotten away with the scam better. Why would (SOMEONE) sell 100% hets knowing they were normals....That just seems way to crazy for me....and on top of that give a double guarrantee that is FULLY TRANSFURABLE, At least that is what my receipt says. Just my 2 cents....thanks DAVID

Yes, but you need adult breeder females (I think!), Where are they? If he sold 30 heteros and possibles and if you take into consideration you loose some clutches there need to be at least 10 breedable females. Has anyone seen them?

Odds are with him. How many things can go wrong before you prove the animals for a second time (for his guarantee to be in effect)? One can speculate the breeders could not breed, that they were bred to another animal that was not hetero, they could die, they could be sold, etc? By the time you are going to complain, more than likely 5-6 years went by if you bought babies.
 
I just called Bruces. The lady told me Harry was not longer around that he was in fact deceased. She left Bruce a message to call me.

Nobody must fail to produce homozygous more than one season

That's the whole point of banding together. If we pool our breeding results, we can have more than enough statistical data to prove fraud next season (apparently assuming the identity of a dead man is legal in South Carolina). No need to try year after year to meet terms that became increasingly stringent as Bruce was realizing this scam was going to catch up to him. By September, 2005 there should be 1 to 2 dozen of us with enough evidence to trounce any defense attorney he can convince to defend him by trading for some yet-to-be-discovered het. Face it. The guy uses false identities, changes business names 3 times in 2 years, and won't even attempt to come forward and back up what he has sold. He's just reeling, trying to figure out how to hide, disappear, file bankruptcy, or whatever by next year. If anybody proves anything out, I will be dazed and confused as to why he would engage in such questionable business practices, sell real hets, and not come on to this site to back what he has sold.

dealing with bruce
i did a trade with bruce, through a third party that i met in daytona whom i trusted. the trade was a 2002 albino eastern diamondback, 5000 dollar value for 1.4 100% hets. the trade was to take place at the columbia reptile show. my first day there i gave the eastern to the third party, who assured me my hets would be there the following day, i had never seen bruce or known anything of him at that time. the following afternoon he showed up at the show, and the third party brought to my table 1.4 mite infested baby balls . i insantly called off the deal and started the process of retreiving my animal, that had been removed from the show without my knowledge. to make a long story short, bruce slid out of the show and i never saw my animal again i posted a warning on kingsnake after he had posted adult 100% het for albino easterns for sale, that were suposed to come from me, but did not, i hope everyone is very cautious in dealing with this individual
ps. if anyone wants a deal on 100% het for pieds guaranteed by bruce, i have 1.4 very cheap and with no mites

How smart is Bruce?

Thanks for the info about Greg, David. I'll try to follow up with an e-mail this weekend to see what he's still got and what his plans are. Now for a new concept. If Bruce had an ounce of sense to his pound of greed, he would have sold some real hets along with all the fakes, just to protect himself from the allegations we are trying to prove by banding together and sharing breeding results. This may have occurred to him only recently now that his world is coming down around him. He could set someone up with some real hets and another fake receipt in order to foil our effort. I suggest we stick with the posted list of owners and add any new contacts to a sub-set list. If nobody from the original list produces homozygous, we move forward with fraud charges. If someone from a new list produces homozygous, these would be managed separately, as a potentially tampered-with data set. Just trying to be a step ahead. He may have had the foresight to throw a few real hets into the mix from the beginning. But if not, he probably wants to do it now. We need to prepared for this tactic and mitigate the risk accordingly.

You know, it is a little frustarting. There have been about 6 people that have joined 'Harry's Kids' page on Yahoo, but nobody posts (I get an email every time someone joins). I might just email these people as ask if they did so out of curiousity OR if they have in fact dealt with Bruce.
There HAS to be more people out there.

No i havent yet got one.the police were supposed to get in touch with me today but have not yet to do that.i guess all the snow we got is holding them up.but as soon as i do i will post it.
 
Mine were NOT sold to me as microchipped. If you have microchipped animals I would feel that they were the real deal. Because I don't think even his dumb ass would microchip a snake that was a normal. But who knows, Bruce would probably invest the money to microchip his normal ball pythons as to SCAM someone out of the 2,000 for a female. I am just glad I didn't pay full price for mine. Here is what I gave? traded for mine.
1.0 100% het pied..........500.00cash
1.0 100% het pied..........Baby Wamena Green tree(400.00+)
1.2 100% het Albinos.....225.00 and a med specticaled caiman

So I am not out too much. I just should have known it was to good to be TRUE.

Also he had 1.1 100% het albino's and at least 2.4 more 100% het Pieds at his table in south carolina after I got mine and Greg got his.
