Sweet! I'll take em!
I don't know about any of you but I get a real uneasy feeling about both parties. Maybe its just me but I would gladly gamble ten bucks for the opportunity to come out smelling like a rose.
I don't know...some of us are willing to go quite far to keep our names from being tarnished. Just by keeping both, the buyer has let herself be put in this position (BG post). Now, she has to be concerned with public opinion on how she ends it.
After all, there is an ethical aspect to the whole transaction that doesn't look good on either side (again, this was pointed out). Now if Randi did go beyond and over (to satisfy a reverse customer) to ensure that her own customer service was above reproach she could come out ahead.
But 10.00 and an hour out of 24 is a LOT to have to do to rectify someone else's mistake (not to mention the "someone" is considered "sleazy," "dishonest," a "scammer," etc...) I can totally understand.., not.
However, legally, Randi is in the right... as has been pointed out.
It doesn't appear to me that the shipping cost or the time involved have anything to do with why Randi hasn't sent them back. I don't think anyone in their right mind would ship an animal without knowing if anyone knows it's coming. The idea that Randi should just keep them and pay Wendy anything for them is just rediculous too in my opinion.
Was there some point you were trying to make?
