    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

That's so sad. And that's why lately I've been considering the idea of switching to wild type (non-morph) colubrids instead of Ball Pythons. There are way too many scammers in the big industry animals.

Too bad kharma doesn't work faster...

Your recent classified ad entitled "Adult het pied female cheap." has been removed due to a violation of our Terms of Service.

Excerpt from the TOS:

Here is your original ad:

I bought this female back when he was selling snakes under his dead father's name, and company Hce. To my knowledge nobody has ever proved out one of his hets, several have been bred, just no pieds have come of it. This snake is probably not a real het, but if you are thinking of buying a questionable het this one will save you some time, you can prove it is not this year. I can send you a copy of my original receipt, and a copy of my paypal to Bruce.

You can rephrase your ad and still be in perfect compliance with ks TOS and at the same time caution the public.

1. You can say the animal is originally from Bruce Eisenmann, HCE (nothing wrong with that), and

2. You can say that you have bred it once and it has not produced pieds for you (nothing wrong with that).

3. You can say it is still covered by the guarantee (if it is) and goes with all the paperwork and original receipt.

Key terms to avoid: “dead father”, “unproven hets”, and “questionable het”.

I think I am going to just put her up for the same price as CRE's 05 hets, and when someone emails just send them a link to here. To tell you the truth half of me wants to just let people get ripped off by this piece of work, and then think twice about buying from people on k/s, it REALLY drives me nuts they let this keep up, but then again you can't prove they are not hets. Craig

Only half? Before you try to rip someone off, contact the seller for a full refund. It seems pretty clear to me that the allegations from people who purchased these animals from CRE are all the same. The animals have not produced pieds making them questionable. Knowing that, why would you really want to sell them? I think you deserve your money back if there was a guarantee at the time of purchase. The animal you purchased was extremely expensive, but price is not the issue here. There is a lot of debating going on on these forums, but what we got on this post is a legitimate claim that needs an answer. If there is no return policy or options for the buyers, it would be nice to put an end to this situation. However, if there is a 100%guarantee stating the conditions the animals were sold and they continue to be questionable, I think it is a seller's responsibility to address the issue and refund the buyer for the item purchased.

Regardless what anyone's opinion is regarding this thread, I do not think there is a person here that would like to be in Craig's shoes. I wish the best of luck resolving your claim.
 
The problem in this case that the guarantee comes from a man that has been dead for years (Harry E.), dead even before selling those heteros! In a post here in the BOI that some might remember “he” (meaning his son posting as him) even claimed that he had nothing to do with his son’s “business”, as they had gone separate ways. “He” also went to the extreme of guaranteeing his animals genetics “for life”, a clear impossibility as he had been dead for several years. Who are you going to direct your complaint to then?

I never said I had any plans to rip anyone off, I said let people get ripped off. Meaning quit trying to stop CRE. As far as contacting the seller, do you know any good psychics that talk to the dead?

I have a female het pied over 1500 grams, purchased from Bruce, now at Carolina reptile exchange. She is not proven and I will offer no guarantee with her. She does come with paperwork from the breeder and is microchipped. The receipt says 100% het pied.
 
I emailed CRE

And asked them how they were going to take care of all the people claiming to have purchased Het Pieds from them, and have produced 0 Pieds? He (Mark???) emailed me back that all they had to do was provide proof, which could mean alot of different things. I have the email if anyone who got ripped off would like to see it.

Craig,

That was a very well written ad that in no way should be considered a violation of the TOS of KS. If they decide to delete your ad again we will have to conclude they are trying to protect CRE. One way or the other you are paying for your KS accounts as they are, and you have every right to post your snake for sale.

I saw that ad and thought about going lower, but she is a big female and I don't really want to get down to where someone actually insists on buying her for just a normal, that is part of why I did not post pics, or an exact weight. I have already been offered a female pastel for her in trade from a guy thinking she is really a het.

My previous ad was meant to be a joke. Although you have paid probably "relatively" big money for her, you are also probably aware that the chances of her being hetero are slim to none (if not you wouldn’t be trying to get rid of her). You will do of course as you please, but have you told the person who offers you a female pastel for her the story behind the Eisenmans’? I highly doubt that anyone knowing what we do about them would offer more than what a normal ball python will go for in the market. You said it yourself in your ad. Even if he insisted in doing so, would you consider it a fair deal? Business has to be win-win for both and this transaction looks more than you 10, visitor team 0, and this one might come back to haunt you. Remember you have already manifested you don’t want to even spend the time in trying to prove her.
 
I have no intention of selling her, the guy that wanted to trade I replied with a quick no thanks and a link to this site. I just though it was humerous with that ad, people still considering it. That female will probably be at my place forever reimnding me never to buy hets again.
 
Never buy hets again? There's NOTHING wrong with buying hets.......if you do some research and buy them from someone REPUTABLE.
