    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry Carson Phelps, anyone done recent business with him

I've seen Phelps posting some crazy sweet stuff on Facebook auctions and classifieds recently. Had anyone done recent business with him? I know he had a bad rep years ago but I'm willing to think some will change.
 
I have done business with him.

I have gotten one of those "sweet stuff". It even came with a price that was VERY sweet as well. It was as recent as June 5 2012.
 
I recently won one of his auctions too. Great price and healthy appearing animal. Packaged well and shipped exactly when he said he would. This was maybe 2 months ago and the ball is growing like a weed and no issues what so ever.
 
Got 3 hatchlings from him this month. The price was amazing but the baby balls should have been fatter. All 3 have eaten well since arriving tho.
 
Carson is a great guy. I have known him for years. He is a stand up guy with awesome animals and awesome deals. Don't hesitate to do business with him.
 
I do business with Carson every week or two. He is amazing and super super clean. Nuts about the way he cares for his animals and what he feeds them. Would recommend him to anyone
 
I had the chance to buy a Butter Black Pewter female from him at the end of last year for half the price it should have been.
Then I looked on here and read about his past and that he is a flipper.

I brought this to his attention and he became very arrogant so I passed...
 
I have done business with Carson off and on for approx. 6 years. Everything ordered was more than promised. He is A+ in my opinion. I have never had a single issue with quality,feeding, or timely and professional shipping from him.
 
I have done a transaction with him in the past as well. Even met him in person. Great guy to work with...
 
Purchased a snake from him a couple months back that was advertised as 75g but it came in at 45g. Got it eating after a while and she is doing alright and getting fat.. Easy communication and fast replies from him so that's a plus. Nice looking snake overall

I have bought ball pythons from Carson on a few occassions and have never had a problem. Snakes always thrived and he has excellent prices.
 
A few months ago, I bought 2 high end ball pythons from Carson Phelps of Herps etc....a female bumblebee piebald and a male het candy!!! Carson gave me a good deal on both of them, and he was very helpful and kept in contact throughout our business transactions. Both snakes arrived healthy and eating, and just as advertised! We even had a small problem with FedEx...I had asked for the packages to be held at a local FedEx/Kinkos and had made the mistake of letting this one lady working there find out I was receiving a snake once before...she flipped shit on both me and Carson! But Carson dealt with the entire situation very professionally, and I got my snakes safe and sound. I highly recommend doing business with Carson!
 
Picked up two balls from him in person...found on Craigslist both seemed healthy one was a bit snippy....very reasonable pricing...snippy one died on way back home(3 hr ride) immediately called and explained situation and sent pictures... told me he would take care of it and "make it right" this was over 3 weeks ago...so buyer beware????
 
I won a auction he had listed for a 2012 male bee. He lives not too far from me and we met in person. He was prompt with answering any questions I had and the bee is healthy and ate the next feeding. I'm hoping to buy from him again.
 
I've done many transactions with Carson, my first was a het clown that actually laid and gave me three clowns from retained sperm by him breeding her before I got her. Since then I've got a a pastel DH caramel glow, 3 adult female DH glows, 2 ghosts het caramel, a male DH caramel glow, a clown het ghost, and some other stuff from him. He's a good guy and has always done me right.

Andrew I'm not sure what kind of "craigslist" transaction you guys did but you might want to add more info and actual proof if you want anyone to believe your story.
 
I picked up a subadult Black Pastel Het Hypo girl from him last year. She's been eating great and very healthy so I expect her to breed in the upcoming season.
 
To whoever thinks I'm on here making this stuff up it was a 2012 m mojave and a 2011,m spider....asking 125 for the mojave and 75 for the spider...like I said good prices spider is eating good and seems healthy but the mojave died in transit in an air conditioned vehicle on a 3 hr ride....yet to here anything back from him....so I understand you guys do a lot of high end morph business with him but from MY one and only experience with him this is what happened...if he comes to me and says "OK this is what I can do "then ill have no problem doing more business but until then.........
