• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Kudos to you Robert for stepping up to the plate and admitting fault. Glad to see you're taking steps to improve your relationship with Katie as a customer and all of us as a community. To be honest, I'm a little surprised but I'm glad to see that things are looking like they will be resolved in a professional way. :) Keep it up!

It is up when I search it now, but is was not up yesterday when I searched for it. Looks like the account was deactivated for a while.
 
Thanks for the compliments everyone :) I'm glad this BOI thread is on it's way to being fixed, and as I've told Robert, we can both walk away from this with a little more knowledge and experience under our belts.
 
Update:

Robert finally got his check (told me on May 20th). He said he could only pay through PayPal, which I don't understand, but I agreed to PayPal and started to verify my account. I got it set up and ready on May 27th, and contacted Robert through PM on Pangea. I didn't receive a response so I e-mailed him. I have yet to receive a response and e-mailed him again today. Hopefully he gets back to me soon...
 
I have yet to receive a response from Robert concerning the partial refunds. I am unsure if he is just ignoring me again or what.

Has anyone seen him post anywhere? I'll be checking to see if I cab find him on any other forums. This is just very aggravating.

I'll be e-mailing Robert again tonight to let him know I am bringing this thread back up. Hopefully that'll get a response from him.
 
I guess I'm not going to receive a response, and this is yet another false promise of a refund from someone on a BOI thread.

You know what? It's sad. Robert, you have your entire reptile career (if you so choose to go that route) ahead of you, and you choose to blemish your name over a measly $40. Why? Seriously, I'm curious. How could $40 be worth it? That's chump change compared to other Bad Guy Threads here. I truly don't get it.

It wouldn't even have gotten this far if you would have just responded to me in the first place, yet you chose to ignore an unhappy customer. Then you take it up a notch and continue to INSULT your unhappy customer on the BOI thread about you. You finally come to your senses and agree to a partial refund...then again refuse to acknowledge my messages.

Well, hope that $40 was worth it, because I doubt you'll be in business for too much longer considering how you treated me, a customer, on a public forum where your potential customers could easily see it. I hope they do, and they think twice about doing business with you.

Hi! I am new to the reptile world but I did want to add something. I was looking at a page on FB about some beardeds for my husband at the end of May and he was on there too. He ordered two beardeds at $20 each + shipping which the seller posted would cost him just over $50. I guess he forgot that he owed you money. (sarcasm!)
