Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Derek Beando Dbeando scams

Hi thread!

I purchased Nova and Zues from his first ad in February. $150 with shipping. I've been waiting and I sent him a message last night through text and he didn't send a reply but I guess he has time to post more geckos. I'd really like my geckos. He's been telling me late march for a while now.

Wow. This pisses me off. He does not deserve to have those geckos. He beat me to purchasing Candy when she was for sale and now he has her. Who knows what condition she is in, she lost her tail. He tried to sell her to me for $700, more than he paid. I told him I could not afford that price. Recently I asked him if she is still available and I got no reply. I'm glad I never did business with him. I just saw the warning in his ad today. She would have been in better hands here. I can't believe I lost out to this thief when I've been trying so hard to find a red harley like her for so long. Not fair. If someone was really in trouble financially and could not keep their geckos they would take what they could get not demand insane prices. I could be wrong but I think it's all a lie.

Jaybee, can anything be done about the fact that these animals are for sale on Pangea, too? I would hate for people not to be warned, but I'm sure it's against the rules to comment on a classified over there.

Geez! He's always been nice to me, but it looks like I'm the exception. Do you guys think I should bother filing a paypal claim for Candy? I texted Derek just now and told him I'd be willing to fly to MA from CA just so I could pick up the gecko in person. I bet that really shocked him lol. I'm seriously willing to fly over there though. I think I have his address somewhere from when I shipped to him a while back. I don't know, maybe trying to visit him in person is a bit drastic. I could sure use the money back if I'm not going to get Candy though, I have plenty of other geckos I need to pay off that I want more than her anyway.
 
His address is in those text message posts too. And it's easy to find through whitepages.com with his full name and his city and state. I've been texting both the phone numbers listed all day, and I tried calling the one listed on whitepages.com but that one has been disconnected.
 
I didn't even know she was sold. He doesn't write sold in his ads.. I thought there was no way she was still available or Vegan Cupcake. They were sold so fast by their original owners. I am so mad right now. I wanted that gecko so bad. Still do.

That's a good one.

Noelle - he's been banned from the Trade section there, will be hiding his ads (not deleting so nothing is fully removed if anyone needs proof of anything). Was hoping he would pop in here to tell us his side, but if he's logged in a bunch of times and hasn't said anything that's not looking so hot.

Maybe he's seeing if the heat will die down so he can get some more scams going?
 
Well if anyone get's their money back I have plenty of nice real geckos for sale lol

They're not quite like Candy, but they're still nice.
