* Blue Albinos........Update 11/15/04 - due to an incubator accident I lost my male hets and now have to start all over making new male hets and then breeding them back to the mutation female. So my friends, this nice project is set back, but not dead. If I can duplicate this mutation in a single offspring then the light blue albinos with red eyes will happen. A number of you have seen my blue mutation female tangerine albino and know the potential at hand. But at this point, we're looking at 2006 or 2007 on these. Don't be too disappointed, I promise some equally impressive new mutations for 2005!

I called BS on this from the begining...... He counted his chickens before they hatched and now he is forced to back peddling through his BS....... Seems to me he was realy counting on this purple eyed albino to produce blue albinos...... Anyone with a half of a brain could have seen this coming..... I wonder what the excuse will be in 2006 and 2007......
 
I just noticed something too..... Why would you make only male hets..... Why not make a bunck of female hets and a few male hets...... From what I am reading, he was going to use all those male hets to breed back to one female...... That does not make any sence to me......
 
i have seen .....

the tangerine RT is talking about .....has a very large purple and blue splotch on its tail ! no type of eye color will make a difference in body color ...where do you guys get this crap from ? trust me there is another reason that those will not be released this year ......you will see soon enough ! :p
 
It aint gonna happen...... I want to see a pic of this blue spot on the tail..... Where is it???? The reson they are not being released is because there is none....... Tell me how eye color will affect skin color......

skin color ..........who said so ? i have 3000 pictures on my computer , so cannot find pic (does exist) just have to trust me on this
 
Please, make me a believer...... I say it does not exist..... I want to see a BLUE spot on a leo.....
 
Apparently, Ron seems to thing that because he produced a leo with purple eyes, this somehow means it is possible to produce blue albinos..... Thats who said so........

Also, how can he says he has hets for a gene that has not been proven???? It has not even been close to being proven out..... :rolleyes:

" yes that is kinda crap , but im sure he does not mean that the eye color has anything to do with body color ! IMO it is saying if one is possible , the other is also possible , but NOT that the blue albino is going to come from the purple eyed albino ! also THINK he is saying he lost the males , and does NOT say he did not produce females .........keep in mind ron works on a very large scale and would need more than just a few males and about umpteen hundred females lol

but i have seen the purple and blue tail on his tangerine albino female ........looked very promising ! he says "hets" ! now why assume that he means het for blue (which is not possible) i take it to mean het for albino myself ..........just watch for the new release , you will be floored
 
Yes, but he said that he lost all the males that hes was going to breed to the one mutation female...... These are his own words I am working with here...... And he is implying that because he has a purple eyed albino he can make blue leos...... That is the mutation female he is talking about...... It is right there infront of your face..... That is the "gene" he is working with..... You seem to talk like you are on the inside of all this Dan, why not tell me what the "other" reason is that they are not going to be released..... I only see one reason why...... There are none....
 
Well if you read what he writes you will see why one would assume he mean het for this "new mutation" and not just a plain albino......

Why would you just make male hets in the first place???? And why would they be hets for albino..... Does this mean he was using a normal male to make these babies???? LOL...... Why would you do that if you are looking to produce blue ALBINOS????? He seems to think this blue thing would be a new recessive gene......

And I am real sure you got the inside scoop..... I bet you were told to keep it a secret too, right......LOL
 
hmmmmm ok it does sound strange

no just THINK that .... it has been put off , for the "other-reason" ( the one i am sure is happening)
