    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Don't buy from LLL.reptile

I just recieved an order from LLL the other day. The animals looked great. One of the containers was had the sex mislabled but like Robin said they have heavy volume through the web site and mistakes happen. I got what I ordered - they even called me because they didn't have a male/female combo of something that I asked for and I decided to get the extra female vice a store credit.
I used to got to the Ocean Side store every weekend when I was stationed out there. I like them and would buy from them again any time.

Every reptile site should have a DOA, or 2 week to 30 day gaurantee. You should have contacted them the minute you noticed the snake was sick. Don't blame them, I know they would have taken care of it if you followed there site info.
 
A person on another forum ordered from them and got a FEMALE rather than the male they requested..and it is quite young. Granted, LLL said they would replace I believe...but the mistake shouldn't have been made to begin with.

Tell me who exactly do you know that never makes a mistake? Mistakes do happen. Good guys fix them bad guys don't. It's really that simple.

If you do want to buy reptiles from someone who is infallible you'll need to buy directly from God...... Just don't eat any apples that they may offer. :reddevil:
 
Haha.. No No, I was just giving info to the thread. In fact, in that thread I believe someone else states that they too had a gender mishap with LLL. Nothing personal.. Do you know when God will be available for orders? :rofl:
 
LLL deserves props

Okay

First of all, I never buy animals from LLL. The prices are a tad high when one knows breeders etc. However, I purchase all sorts of supplies from them over the phone. They have always been friendly, helpful, and professional! I will always hold them in high regard. And how could one possibly complain when getting a store credit for a problem that wasn't immediately addressed? They have gone so far above the bounds of good biz practice that everyone on here should acknowledge them with props.

Just my thoughts...

Amen brotha, I totally agree with you. Their prices are actually pretty dang good, I get 5,000 crickets a month for what I used to pay for 500 from petsmart, and their animals are'nt that expensive! I guess when you are used to dropping up to $2500 for an animal then there wholesale prices seem like chump change. But I would definately tell any one to buy from them they have always taken care of me when cricket shipments arrive dead or frozen they are very good about helping people out thats why they have been in buisiness for so long and thats why people go back the have good customer service, the thing with a mis sexed animal is just a very common mistake especially if the animal is younger they may have sexed it as female earlier and it suddenly shows signs of male and they miss it when shipping or a number of trhings like that can happen, but hey we are all human, last I checkked we are not perfect. I just want every one to know that they should have faith in lll reptile they go beyond the call for herpers!!!!

My .02 cents...

I have to agree with the majority, LLL went above and beyond in offering to make it right beyond what they were obligated to do. Also that mistakes do happen, especially gender mistakes. Which is why many folks (myself included) also have a guarantee for folks who are concerned about gender, to have it sexed professionally within a prearranged time frame of receipt of the animal... for a refund or reparation of some nature. That is my take on what I've read so far...
As for myself, I have not bought any animals from LLL, but over the last few years have bought supplies from them and they've always been accurately filled and sent in good condition. Not to mention, arrived pretty dang quick. I just ordered last week from their sister-site, reptilesonline, and bought about $90 worth of snake bags and heat packs. I got it within a week and not only was everything there, but I received a free foam insert reptile burrow (even if it is a promotional send). Not to mention, a number of fliers to advertise sales, random helpful information, and a slip saying who packed my order and checked it.
Once again, I am more than satisfied and will always look to them when I am considering purchasing another necessity.

So what is the issue here. You received a ball python with mouth rott? LLL Reptiles offered you a credit, YOU TURN IT DOWN? Ok fine, now what are you trying to get across here?
 
I have both purchased reptiles from LLL and sold them reptiles as well for quite a few years now. I have normally always delt direct with Scott, and I have never been anything than more than satisfied with the quality of the reptiles and service I have received.

I have never been to their store, as I am all the way in CT. However, they do have tables at all the reptile show I attend in my area, NY and NH. All their animals are always healthy and look great!

Keep up the great work Scott!
 
Personally i think they did way more to please you than many other companys. YOU got a credit strictly based upon your own word. I have never done buisness with LLL.com but i know people that have, and the animals are always in the best of health. I would take the credit buy yourself another animal, and remember this time around if anything seems out of order, CALL them!!
 
I order crickets from LLLReptile on a regular basis. I just got off the phone with them as I have not recieved my cricket order for the week yet. They were very friendly and helpful. My package seems to be MIA but they have offered to send them out, overnight, on Monday for Tuesday arrival so that I can have them ASAP. Although I obviously wish they hadn't been misplaced, I could not ask for the situation to be handled more professionally. As many have said before me, its not the mistakes, its how you deal with them that matters.
 
My 2 cents

LLL is one of the best people I have ever done buisness with. I ordered feeders from them for a good price 6 months ago and I still have allot left over. Prices are unbeatable, their animals are very healthy as I have been to a show and seen their animals for myself lol. :D

The person who started this thread over 4 months ago never backed up any of her claims. She never even proved she purchased a snake. With a reputation smearing title like "Bad Guy don't buy from LLL Reptile. This thread should have been dropped 3 months ago. Start a new thread if they treated you right and let this Bad guy thread go away.

My First Surinam was from them.

It was so sick. I didn't know better and didn't know what to look for.

She had a bad respirory infection , necrotic tail tip and worms.

Did I mention this was my first Surinam.

After a $1000.00 dollars later in vet bills I was able to keep the boa alive then later died from being so sick.

I showed them my vet bills and the dates that I took the boa in, witch was a few days after purchase.

They did not give me a refund and offered a credit.

Big Deal....... They should have never SOLD A SICK BOA.

Did I mention that I spent $1000.00 dollar VET BILL.

Shame on them for Peddling Sick animals.

They continue to practice this as we speak.

They are in it for the money and not for the love of keeping reptiles.
