    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well obviously when you say something against a majority there are a lot of people who disagree with you :D

I think the reception to one's ideas whether one agrees or disagrees has a lot to do with how it is said. One can disagree respectfully and with courtesy.
 
I can't stand most of the people on these forums....if you say anything against the majority on the subject, you get attacked for it

Ok you need to walk away from the keyboard,not everyone agrees with the seller on this one and they haven't been attacked,it's how you present your opinion that gets you in the crosshairs. I don't feel this was a good bad guy post myself, but the BOI did work for everyone to form there own opinion on who to buy from and sell to.

Exactly. My point was more that I do not think he's been attacked at all. More that he doesn't like that most people aren't siding with him.

This thread was about dubideli…you said your piece…got pissed others didnt agree with you and started abusing them. Now you just want to pick fights with people who are well respected here. Let me tell you something, I teach high schoolers and I am sure glad I dont have kids like you in my class otherwise Id throw you right out. Grow up and then try to come back and handle a mature adult conversation.

As far as dubideli and the OP is concerned, Im glad he gave the refund. This just seemed like a simple solution that got dragged out for too long due to shipping issues. And yes $20 is more than pocket change to some people. And $20 spent repeatedly really adds up.

This situation would very much deserves a BOI thread. No amount of money is to small when a situation needs to be resolved. It could have ended long ago if the refund was given after the 2nd delivery failed to show up on the day is was supposed to. It's been "out for delivery" for days! that's ridiculous.

and yes, THAT is on the seller. It is still his package until it reaches the buyers hands and is accepted. Its not the PO's package, its not the PO's problem other than when they have to refund the shipping charges for not delivering it on time.
Since it did not show up on time, or even days later, its completely unnecessary to continue to keep the customer waiting for resolution simply because the package "might" still show up in a few MORE days. The PO made a mistake, and that IS on the seller since they have a Live Arrival Guarantee.

Refunding the money and jumping on the phone quickly to the PO to find and re-route the package and demand a refund since they could not deliver properly is the way to go in this situation.

Live Arrival means that when a package is in the hands of the carrier, everything that happens IS on the seller...weather they die in transit or never show up, that's on the seller since he has a Live Arrival Guarantee (and he did not request pics of proof in the first place before agreeing to resolve, so that is a moot point now.)
 
Lucille and Deb I respect your opinion's and realize you have been helping people in the BOI for a long time. But you have to admit that this feels like a BOI witch hunt. He honored his live arrival guarantee did he not? I see this so often in the BOI, people jump to conclusions, and before you know if you have 10-15 people going back and forth making a big deal out of nothing. NOT A LOT of time transpired, I know for a fact both of have seen some serious "Bad guy's" who drag people over the coals for weeks, months, YEARS! How much time elapsed like 2-3days? I'm sorry but GOOD customer service IMO.. If I didn't have my own colony I would have NO PROBLEM ordering from dubiadeli.

Is that fair? I stated people are human, and you stated that BOI people including yourself are getting sick of that excuse... Each person accused on the BOI should have a clean slate until proven other wise. Just because you have seen the dance 1,000 times does NOT mean that conclusions need to be made on this individual based on the actions of other individuals good or bad. I will stand with my statement that people are human's because it's true, If you were new to the forum's, starting a new business doing pretty well, recently contributed 100$ of your hard earned money to that said website (as dubiadeli has) you would at very least want the benefit of the doubt would you not? I know you would

New...Old... it makes no difference except "Old" should know better, and "New" should take it as a learning experience and NEVER let a situation like this arise again through due diligence (that means and includes being more careful of counts/identification of weights and not posting statements to the effect that other things are more important than Customer Service). :shrug01:
 
No proof was given on the count being wrong all that was said was between 80 and a 100. I have order 200 before and would swear ther where only 100 in the box they are so small.

The customer was refunded his money two days after his request (requested on 3/22/12, refunded on 3/24/12). We wanted at least two days to allow USPS to deliver the package. Delivery dates are only estimates provided by USPS and customers need to allow for a reasonable delivery interval.

Well I'm sorry....$20 bucks is what it costs for 1 out of my 3-4 meals a day not including snacks....get some financial aid and go back to college then....


Maybe he spent all his funds on lunches and didn't have any left for dragons.
