    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

UPDATE: Just called Ed on his active calling number. He picked up, told me his computer is being repaired will take atleast 1 week to fix. I informed him of the BOI, he said he will be getting the heatpacks Friday and is good to ship Monday.
So far I feel reassured thanks guys for your help.

I have to agree. I am still somewhat skeptical of the fact that people have shown that he was still online and was still posting to and viewing these forums during the same time frame that your emails were going ignored.

Hopefully he will get things together and you'll get the shipment first thing Tuesday.
 
UPDATE: So when I called him last Week on Wedsnday, he tolded me to call him Sunday night as he is going to surely ship my bearded dragon Monday so I get it early morning Tuesday he sounded very sincere so I believed him.

Its Sunday night and now his recent active number is now disconnected and says has changed to a new number........ :( I don't know what to believe anymore. Or how to contact him.
 
Personally, given his past, I think Ed's pissed away any right to the benefit of the doubt. I'm assuming you sent payment via PayPal? If so, I'd open a claim and get the ball rolling on a refund.

Even IF his computer really had to go in for repairs, there's no excuse for not maintaining contact. If he thought of you as a priority, it would have taken minimal effort to find another computer from which to access his email account. Hell, even the cheapest modern cell phones have email capabilities. Where there's a will, there's a way. Add the suddenly disconnected phone number, and the whole situation looks even more damning.

Who wants to take the over/under on how many hours it takes for his PC to miraculously be fixed so he can contest the claim? I'm guessing 3 hours after the claim is opened. Any takers?
 
I oppened a dispute on paypal but, closed the dispute believing Ed was going to ship it now I can't reoppen dispute. Lost $95 dollarS. Lesson learned I hope Ed can get some consequences to this happening I lost $95 to him got nothing back in return....
 
I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think he's ever actually failed to send an animal out. I suspect that you'll eventually get something from him. I doubt he's been putting in so much PR work, trying to look like a swell guy in the Welcome Room and the BOI, just to pull off a crummy $100 scam. Since you closed your dispute, now you're just stuck with his schedule, unless you happened to use a credit card with PayPal. If that's the case, you can do a chargeback through the credit card company.
 
Anyone here possibly have Ed Clark's new number or email or anything to contact him with. This number 609-675-8096 belonged to him and was active since last wedsnday now its disconnected.

So you started this thread stating you would wait until Monday. The very next day you said you contacted him and he was going to ship Monday.

Now come to find out you already opened a dispute with paypal? Was that before you started this thread? After you said you would wait to Monday?

Heck here it is late Sunday night and there hasn't been a single business day since the Holiday when you start posting again. Why are you calling him on Sunday anyways? It's early Monday now if he is going to Ship today you will probably get notification.

Man, you are all over the map. " I'm worried, No he is a good guy, No, I'm worried" Opened a paypal dispute, closed a paypal dispute all before the agreed upon ship date.

FYI, If you go as far as opening a dispute you never close it before you get your animal.

If your animal doesn't get to you tomorrow, let us know. Hope it all goes well but you are a pain to deal with.
 
Why do people keep buying from him with all the bad stuff on him ? Too many other breeders who are good and are concerned with their reps unlike Ed.

I refused one of his super low offers to trade a couple low end beardies for my Purple ribbon blue pit pups which i was getting $1000-$1500 each.
I hope he come good with you. Did it come ?
 
Not defending Ed, but FWIW, Jersey is still in rough shape. I live in an area that wasn't hit that badly(relatively speaking) and phone/internet service is still not restored or is on and off around here. Ed lives down the shore where they got hammered. If his phone line is disconnected, I would guess it's due to service issues. Put it together for yourself...you found his phone number from a thread in 2007, he has had several negative deals since, and you're thinking he possibly changed his number for $95.00?? Doesn't make sense in the least. Again, not in defense of Ed, but I'm just not following the OP's thought process.

It's my understanding that the area where Ed resides wasn't hit that badly by the storm. If the OP is using an old phone number then he needs to find out what his current one is BUT it's still up to Ed to keep a window of communication open with customers who paid for product rather than leave them hanging. If he has no phone or internet he can always ask a friend to make phone calls or go to a Library or something to use a public computer.
