    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Is he unable to ship because of the weather? I was scraping ice off my windshield this morning and I am further south than Ed. I believe it's been as low as 25-30 degrees these last couple of days (maybe lower).
 
weather been low the last couple days I live in delware( northen part ) and I seen temps between 28-46 ( high today) I would not preferto ship in this weather. I have one possible deal to ship but the weather may cause it to be delayed now till spring. ( i worry with these kind of temperatures.
 
Much of this could have been avoided with proper preparation and communication. I've had some delayed shipments over the past couple months, and even being in the midst of superstorm Sandy, I was able to give my customers enough information to at least put them at ease. I'm currently holding a pair of animals until weather allows for shipping, but am in contact with the buyer at least once a week to update him.
 
Does Ed ever really post in threads about him? I was just curious, as I see him posting many times in other threads, but never really in threads about him.
 
If you paid paypal with your credit card you can contact your credit card company and they will contact paypal to get your money back. even though you closed the dispute with paypal your credit card company can have it opened and you will get it back.. just some advice...
 
I ship year round from 20-100F. Done right there is no problems shipped hub to hub.

Had a shipment leave MI at 25F going to 35F over night, Snakes arrived Warm still! Just pack them with polyfill NOT paper as polyfill holds heat better, and pack them closer to the heat pack with 2 holes near heat pack on outside box!
 
I think at this point, if Ed told his buyer he was going to get refunded, that Ed should do the refund in a timely manner.
 
Ed said he was going to refund through paypal 2 days ago, have yet to get it yet. I probally will call my bank this Saturday and try to get my money back if its possible.
 
I actually did 3 days ago from Jela's Phat Phibs and the process + shipping was incredibly fast. And the dragon looks amazing came in and was already eating greens :)
 
Honestly he had a valid reason.One he had no heat packs two he said his computer and everything is brooken he can't print labels. Only prob I had with him was communication but atleast I got refunded.
 
Hello everyone.

I am so sorry that it has taken me so long to respond.

There were some shipping delays shipping this dragon, me running out of heat packs, then them arriving late Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving. I told Richard that the next shipping day would be the Monday after Thanksgiving. on Monday 11/19 my computer froze up tighter than a clam, off to the repair shop with it.

Up until that point I responded to all Richards messages quickly, he had my phone# from the start so we contacted each other by phone. Richard called Monday after Thanksgiving I told him it would be impossible to ship without the computer to print shipping labels, track packages, deal with any problems that may arise and keep in contact with him.

With the safety of the dragon in mind I told him I could not ship and would refund him in full which I did. I also sent Richard some additional money to buy some feeders for his new dragon.

I have never been without a computer for this long, I now have a backup.
 
^ Ed CLark: Thxs for the additional money, I just recieved it. And hes right after Monday he had a steady communication with me. I was just nervous and impatient sorry.

Btw Ed thanks for the feeder money!
 
I want to set the record straight on a few things. here is a copy/paste from my inbox. there are more.

There was no lack of communication. after my computer died on Monday of Thanksgiving week we stayed in touch by phone. Richard called on Tuesday the same day he started this thread, he called on Wednesday. later in the day I called Richard the heat packs arrived(UPS ground)that the next shipping day would be on Monday after thanksgiving.he called MONDAY AND I TOlD HIM i CAN NOT SHIP SAFELY TODAY AND WILL REFUND HIM WHICH i DID.

i FEEL THAT THIS THREAD WAS ABOUT RICHARD NOT BEING ABLE TO HAVE THE DRAGON RUSHED LIKE HE TOLD ME TO DO. THE DRAGON IS MINE AND I CHOOSE THE SAFEST DAY TO SHIP NOT HIM.

Hi Richard, I ran out of heat packs today. already had them ordered and they will be here any day. I will contact you when they get here so we can set up a ship date that works for you. I will include a container of feeders to make up for the short delay.

Hey I need your opinion, have you heard of the Reptisun 10 compact fluorescent light? I hear they are bad and can cause snowblindness. Whats your experience/opinion on them because I have already bought them.

I have heard alot of bad things associated with compacts, I use zoo med 10.0 tubes.

Have you gotten the heat pack yets? Can't you track down the shipment with a tracking number? Im sort of in a rush, if you can, can you go to a nearby store and buy acouple heatpacks needed and I will pay you for the fee's.

Wish I could run to a sporting goods store and buy a couple hand warmers. the problem with that is those last only 2-3 hours max. I use a heat pack that will last 40 hours. they were shipped to me ups on Wednesday and will be here any day now.I will ship your dragon out ASAP. trust me I want to get her to you fast.

I am still somewhat skeptical of the fact that people have shown that he was still online and was still posting to and viewing these forums during the same time frame that your emails were going ignored.

My computer died on Monday afternoon Thanksgiving week. I was not online on this or any site until 12/06

Sending Richard a paypal refund was difficult without a computer, I called paypal to get them to issue the refund from my account, they would not. I called again the next day and threatened to close my account if they could not help, they sent the refund from my account then.
