    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Evan Stahl

I just got a great paypal rep and he agreed with me that it had to be Joseph who claimed fraud, that a bank would never do that without a customer initiating it. He was nice enough to credit the $20 to my account because he felt bad that things happened the way they did and that I should not have been charged that fee. He also told me that at any point if Joseph had just called paypal they would straighten this whole thing out in 2 minutes all it takes is a simple form to be filled out. He also told me that even if his bank reversed the payments to me, I would not get them that they would end up in Josephs account at some point because his bank has no way to access my account just like I had no way to access Josephs' account. My paypal rep also agreed that it would not ever take 7 days. It would all be handled in 2-3 days.

Thanks Mike, Rob and everybody else. E

I have mixed feelings about this thread. I feel bad that Evan had to have a bad guy thread over all this. On the other hand, any rational seller who reads this thread is in my opinion going to stay miles away from Joeseph Ramey, so I guess the thread is helpful to the community.

I agree. Yeah, a minor mistake was made on his end, but it doesn't deserve THIS. What a nightmare. I'm glad Paypal refunded you the $20; they've always been super helpful with me. Hopefully, this damages Joeseph's rep more than it does yours, Evan.

I notice that a question Joe kept dodging even though it was repeatedly asked, was how he planned to care for a snake just recently purchased when he knew he was going out of town for weeks at a time. Huge red flag for me...that coupled with the fact that hes still trying to purchase snakes even though he is still out of town and will be again.

That Joseph guy needs mental help! Evan is great to deal with! He definitely didn't deserve the accusations or slandering of his reputation. Also, I do believe the spider thing was intentional and down right ignorant.

Thanks Gerald, I really appreciate it. Just to put this to bed for good hopefully, I never did get one cent back from his bank or from paypal, except for the service charge/fee that paypal gave back to me to get me to shut up. So in the end I wasted $3 worth of heat packs and lost $200 worth of spiders and paid for shipping twice on the spiders. So even with getting the animals back and the fee refunded, it cost me over $300 just to not do business with Joseph. E
