Honestly, I think it is quite obvious that you do not like Chris, but come on now. Do you really think that it is not totally obvious that you are bad mouthing Chris to Rich, right after they had a very public disagreement, in order to fan the flames and make Rich is dislike Chris. They had a disagreement, and they are done with it. I think that when it comes down to it they both realize that, and your effort to further drive a wedge between them is totally transparent. Chris will continue to be a good guy and a driving force here. He speaks his mind, and I for one respect that.

Andy, Bad shipping and pic stealing are both very much BOI worthy subjects. Ask Rich, last time I checked it was his site. Just because you are ok with those practices does not in any way mean that the others here should stand for it.

She was warned not to do the transaction. And then in all of her wisdom, she still purchased them, and got scammed! I never said anything about being ignored. What I said was that you are more likely to be treated harshly when you are not in agreement with the powers that be here. People respond to me all the time when I post. Thats not the issue. The issue is that the more popular you are here, the less likely you are to be attacked for voicing your opinion when it doens't mesh with the in crowd here.
Example, since so many of you are into examples. Some time ago, I took a position defending a few of the shipping practices of a member here, because I had seen them for myself, and they worked well for him and for me. But, becuase they were not the way everyone is used to seeing them packaged, he was attacked. When I tried to defend his position, you should have seen how many negative points, or whatever the rating system is that you guys use here. I even got an email flame from one of the in crowd here. Its absoulutley intimidating to come here, and there absolutely is a mob mentality. Make no mistake about it.

James, you've forgotten, Tosha only bought those animals out of the goodness of her heart, to be a good citizen. to smoke out a scammer,

I bought those from Katie to see if she was for real thats all. Simply trying to prove a point and remove a scammer.

She did posted them for auction, told the whole story, with links to both this thread as well as Raymond Harrisons thread and offered them either as a group or in part sold for about the same price as normals but with Raymond Harrisons paperwork. I think she did a pretty reasonable thing to try to clear things up and probably took a big loss just to rid herself of Harrisons "Hets". I did pick up several females for about $10 more per snake than I would pay for a normal (or about the same price as if you walked into petco and bought one of the normal snakes). I expect them to be nothing but healthy, feeding, normal female snakes as guaranteed by Katie. If they turn out to be hets, then great, if not, no money, time or sweat lost and who can't use a few extra females in their projects!

I think a lot of us have looked at how we handle things here. I think you raised some interesting points. However many of them were a bit vague. That being said, I think Wes, and John both addressed these points very well and better than I ever could.

You have to admit you kinda did lay your head down on the chopping block with some of what you said. I think if you did not have the reputation that you have people would have been very quick to chop it off. However, while it may seem like some may have been hard on you, there were many that were not in total agreement with you, but they did not chop either. I for one like you and I respect your opinion. I just think maybe the timing of this thread was just not too good, and that is partly why it was received the way it was. I do not think you are alone. Wow!! A lot junk to catch-up on today.

Simply stating the obvious. I've learned that there is really very little to be learned here and what I read I take with a grain of salt, and the BOI is basically just a playground for many of the people that post. Its a shame because it could have been a useful tool.

As for me, it doesn't matter what is said about me, I neither benefit nor does it bother me. I'm a simple hobbyist I don't need the BOI blessings to help my business nor do I need the blessings of the member to boost my self esteem. I like so many others have decided to be done with the BOI. My first dealing with Chris had him emailing me on a two week old (answered) inquiry just to let me know the shipment came in and the animals I wanted were available. He didnt have what I wanted originally and it was mighty kind of him to keep me in mind when he did. He made me feel my business was valued by remembering me. I never felt his lips touch my ass once and he never begged me to post about the deal. I left him positive trader points for a deal he made enjoyable.

I was one of the people who felt everyone was being way to hard on Tasha, in that thread, because I felt that when she bought those BP's from whatsherface, that she did it when it was still the "give her (seller)the benefit of the doubt stage". This post however being so full of cr@p, like; having 25 years of specific experience, then asking novice questions (that's got to be embarrassing, that the BOI sleuths found those posts) and now all of a sudden, she's done tons of business with "respected" people here that sucked, and "bad guys" that didn't suck. Riiiiiiiiiiight.

Guess it makes her feel better knowing she is one of the "elite" who don't (or will no longer, so she says)use the BOI .......even though she's still reading the threads as of 10pm, and there are big breeders who do use this site (at different capacities), and even though she is not one of them. Whatever helps you sleep at night. To those who I posted that you were being to hard on the other thread, I stand corrected.
