    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Fauna, the BOI, and Favouritism...

I would have to say that I don't think cliques are really an issue, but that's mostly because I refuse to acknowledge any organized groups of people that I am not a part of. :raspberry

Honestly,I would need to go back and reread the post to refresh what was said. I do not think I attacked anyone for the packaging only shipping the snake through the post office and I would say the same thing to anyone who does.

You made it sound like it was no big deal just a difference in opinion on packaging and you were attacked.

You said he was attacked for his packaging? Not true! It was only ONE of the topics that were brought up! The topic of thread was about shipping illegal through the post office.

The problem is you post on this thread trying to play it down and blame others when you were taking sides with the person who ships his snakes through the post office. You are of course entitled to your opinion, but you should be able to take the heat for having it.COLOR]

See the problem here is that usually the people who bitch about how ruthless the BOI is are the scammers the liars or the defenders of the liar and scammers (not saying you) if that seems ruthless to you, TO BAD! Then there are the people that whine and cry about every little thing and defend bad business practices.

Well, I've been at work most of the day and away from the computer but, after spending 45 minutes catching up on this thread I STILL don't see ONE person coming to tushy's defense.

My conclusion, now as well as previously, is that she's a lying sack of crap.

NOW, back to the original topic of THIS thread.

Favoritism.

WHO do you think is exercising or benifitting from favoritism. Greg, I ask you first, because you started this thread. I am NOT running a Wes Special on you here, I have NOTHING against you. The only way to get THIS thread back on track though is to name some names and let the toilets flush where they may. I just hope none of use have to get out the SUPER PLUNGER to get rid of a tasha, er turd.

Also, if ANYONE else has some idea of who this favoritism is being used by or for, speak up. I, for one, will listen, at first, and then think, perhaps ponder a bit, debate with one or two of my more intelligent personalities, and THEN decided what I think as far as whether or not what any of you have to say.
 
Well excuse me for not naming names, but I will give you some general guidelines about people who feel there is favoritism being exercised here.

  • Anyone who comes to a moderator or myself saying that someone should get warning points for something, and we disagree, feels we are exhibiting favoritism.
  • Anyone who sees us assessing warning points on someone they feel should NOT have gotten the points, feels we are exercising favoritism against the other person.
  • Anyone seeing something posted that neither myself nor the moderators have even seen yet, and correspondingly have not acted on it, will accuse us of favoritism.
  • Anyone who comes to me and demands that I accept their side of the story on face value, and I do not, will accuse me of favoritism.
  • Anyone who comes to me complaining about someone else, and I decline to get in the middle, thinking to myself that they are BOTH acting like juveniles, will believe I am exhibiting favoritism. Normally I get this from BOTH sides.

There are probably more, but that will suffice as a starter.

For the record, I REALLY don't care at all about the personal squabbles. I won't chose sides, simply because I have no interest in either side. There can BE NO favoritism, because generally speaking, none of the combatants can possibly be a "favorite" of mine.

If my own mother came on here and posted out of line, I would give her warning points if I read her posts.

If someone whom I hated with a passion posted here, deserving warning points, and I never read any of those words, I would not assess warning points, because I COULD NOT.

That's just the way it is.
