They declined. So he went here. I knew nothing about this until the 19th. And I have answered every email he has ever sent. Did you ever think some people just like to start trouble? I'll tell you, if josh was sincere and wanted to try to get us to break a company policy, this attack is NOT the way to go about it.

The way I am seeing it is the original special order was actually for a Pandora baby, but if that clutch did not have a hold back quality then he could choose one out of Mia X Photon which are now 5 weeks and 1 day old according to your own post Terri. Post #55. My question is simple, since there might not be a hold back quality animal from the original order wouldnt that mean you broke your own policy because you are pretty much making him choose another dragon from another clutch? Wouldnt that warrant a full refund?
Bliss your question about the EXIF data might be answered by aleria because if I also remember correctly she is the one that caught Nicoles phony photos.

My offer still stands Terri. What would I gain from simply trying to start trouble? If I were simply trying to start trouble, I don't think I would have been trying to maintain a professional attitude during this whole deal.

In regards to the exif data, I saw the same thing you did as far as it stating that the photo was altered with photoshop. Unfortunately it doesn't tell you exactly what the person altered in the photo itself. But I'd say for the majority of us that aren't blind or just plain ignorant it's pretty easy to see blown out, over saturated, beyond high contrast alterations :) The exif data just helps prove it.
 
Mark this is meant as no attack, so PLEASE dont take it that way. Whether or not a baby is going into shed does not matter in this situation. He wants to know about health and a picture next to a tape measure would in this case be a very good idea. It would show the length, weight and also some color regardless to whether its going into shed. A picture makes all the difference in this case. I for one would like to see a picture of this baby considering I do own a granddaughter from a Fire and Ice Citrus.

I have already given josh stats. We do not take pics of in shed dragons especially for josh who elected blast us on this forum which stays forever (no big incentive to refund). Next thing you know, he will be posting that pic saying this is what he received, etc, etc. Sorry. Josh has broken the trust we always enjoy with other customers.

Except you didn't bother to DEFINE your company policy until after the fact. "Special order" can be interpreted any number of ways. The bottom line is that you have an unhappy customer; if you were half the business you claim to be you would refund him and make him happy. Do you really think that you are winning any new customers or proving anything positive with your handling of this situation? :shrug01:

If I were you, I think I would just send him a refund and be done with it.

I appreciate the comment but we cannot do that at this point. To do a refund now would make a huge statement to the world that all a bad guy has to do is falsely accuse you and he wins. I am a parent of 4. That is not the message I wish to convey to my kids nor the message we wish to extend to customers. If josh signed papers for a house, then read the fine print and tried to get out of it, he would be told no different than what we are saying. We will follow the letter of our policy. We will wait the 2 weeks per josh's orginial choice this morning, send him a pic, ship him the dragon and then if he does not want the dragon he can ship it back with a full refund.

It's a shame we have to go through all of this stress on the dragon but this is the way josh has chosen to play it. Had he taken a civilized approach to begin with, this would likely have ended quite differently.

Unfortunately, at this point, all posts are all being taken under individual interpretation, extracting what people will, etc. and so it makes no sense to continue. If anyone wants to pm me directly, I would welcome the dialog.

I understand you dont want to show a baby that is in shed, but you bet if this were me I would be showing the baby to show that it is in health and that its size is coming along. Most of us here know what a baby dragon looks like in shed, but you not wanting to go the extra mile does cause suspicion. Right now, Josh is stating he does NOT want the dragon and only wants a refund. IMO if he doesnt want my baby then he could have his money back and I honestly believe that you really should give him his money back.
 
Finally, we will be changing the wording on our guarantee so it is explicit even though everyone else over many years seems to have had no problem with it. I amposting this here so that everyone knows. Thanks very much.

You are replying to everyone but me. It is you and I that have the issue. I have offered to eat the cost of shipping that was already paid to you. A refund of $300 and I will consider us square.

This will avoid any more finger pointing or stressing out an animal for shipping and then shipping back.

Well considering this site is originally based out of the US... isn't it very clear that it's very different? I certainly wouldn't go to a UK oriented site and complain about how they do things. Why would you do that here?

And that's fine... but would someone please evaluate the EXIT link I posted a few pages back? I'm not sure what to look at when it brings the data up to sell whether pictures have been doctored, or not. It does mention Adobe Photoshop, but that could have just been resizing, I'm not sure, that's why I'm asking others to check it out.

I have contacted you civilly. You became set in your decision and chose not to answer me which led to this thread. You even posted emails where I asked civilly and then changed your story here.

You no longer trust him? You have his money and his dragon, you are holding him hostage over terms that you are defining after the fact and have the nerve to call him a bad guy? WOW, I guess I was wrong, after page one I thought it was a shame that the thread was titled the way it was and would be here forever; now you have earned it....
