    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Something I'm wondering....

How is it that Dan P. has offspring from the snow but Dan L. doesn't?

Dan L. did breed the snow, didn't he? He didn't incubate any for male? Or did he sell off the females he bred the snow to? Who has purchased from Dan L?

Which collections are contaminated, and how many different people could be sources for tainted mack snows?

well the animal was listed at 65 grams on hues website . when he arrived here he was at 57 grams ! which is why i had a fecal done that day . if what a few of you are saying is true about false-negatives , then there is no way to tell if it came from alex hue in that condition or not . BEWARE !
 
I can't believe that some people (for lack of better wording) would stoop slow low as to start making threatening, obscene, or harrassing phone calls to people that have helped this hobby over the years more then we'd ever know... :(

As to the issue of the phone call that the Hammacks received, I'm going to go out on a limb and state that it better not have been anyone here that made that obscene phone call to Steve & Kelli. Kelli's going to be finding out from her phone company tomorrow where that call originated from.

I'd like Steve or Kelli to let me know who made the call when they find out, because I intend to make that individual my new "pet project." He's not going to be able to buy or sell so much as a brown anole without the other party knowing what a spineless criminal they're dealing with.

Additionally, I'll see to it that the responsible party gets some unwanted attention from their local law enforcement agency. There's a saying in law enforcement to the effect of "you might beat the rap, but you won't beat the ride." Well, all I can say is that he'd better be ready for a bumpy ride.

Yes Dan, I do have the power. It's called word of mouth and having many contacts in both the professional and private sectors who trust me based upon the positive reputation I've built over the past fifteen or so years. Word travels fast, Dan. You see, honesty and integrity go a long way to cementing a reputation that others know they can trust.

My involvement in public service has also gained me contacts in many different law enforcement agencies throughout the country. It doesn't take much to get in touch with the right person even if I don't know anyone in the particular agency. Sometimes I have to go through "a friend of a friend" to get to where I need to be. From there, it's merely a matter of professional courtesy.
 
This is going from bad to worse. I'm smelling something reminiscent of Mario here. Next thing you know everyone on this thread will be blacklisted and labeled as cult members being led by Alex and Chris.... :firedevil

I hope Kelli is able to find out where the call originated from and I'm sure Ken will be able to make something happen about it. Isn't making threatening or obscene phone calls illegal?
 
Can this get any worse???? It still amazes me how low some people can go..... Shady cowards are the thing that is wrong with this hobby/buisiness..... This is a damn shame......

Yes, amoebas are treatable. Metronidazole works great depending. Cleaning with bleach should work just fine. The reason I chose not to post my name, is for the simple fact of not wanting to be harrassed. It's that simple.

Let's pretend you can be fairminded, Dan Poe. You didn't buy that gecko from Alex Hues. You bought it From Dan Lubinsky.


As to who made harassing phonecalls to Kelli.... well the jury is still out in my book. If you look back in this thread, it wasn't Dan Poe that attacked her credibility....
