Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

No wonder he feels so at home on that frog forum. They are all 12 year olds with no balls (pythons or otherwise, ;o)

Well Mr. Clark. Still say they "couldn't possibly" have come from you? How about those who have been backing Ed? Still think it's an attack on Eds character? Or Ed's character shining through?

Ed, do what's right. I know you aren't likely to respond, but at least have your animals tested and treated if need be. I just don't buy into this random testing you spoke of earlier, especially since you won't produce a single result.

You're not too far off. I checked into several of them and most are hovering around the drinking age or less. Their immaturity is staggering to say the least with naivety not too far behind. Just like the boa and bp world are learning, eventually Ed Clark will show his true colors.

That's great news for the other snakes in your collection. And I am glad keepers like you are out there being proactive in the care of their animals. I wish Ed would at least post his results since (by his own admission), he tests his collection regularly... is that quarterly, semie annually or annually BTW? Even the gesture to back up that you do test your animals Ed, would be helpful here, not that it doesn't mean you could have tested the snakes & had negative results... just this whole thing could have been handled better.

No such thing as infallibilty here. An open minded person, willing to learn & give weight to a prior customer's head's up... willing to share info on their end as she has done... now that would be a mature way to handle this. Is that too much to expect? I think not. -Deb
 
C'mon Ed. At least address this. Post one of the results of your animals tests. I know 10 months is a long time and there really is no way to tie this to you but your lack of response plus all the circumstantial evidence that is coming forward is not making you look good.

At the very least it's making you look like you don't care about a customer after they pay you and at the worst it's making you look like you may have sent infected imports to a customer instead of CB future breeder holdbacks.

At LEAST let Emily and the rest of us know what you found when you said you would check your records on exactly what snakes she recieved.

Perception is everything Ed.
 
His lack of response is hurting more than anything else IMO. I've seen animals that he has advertised that were quite nice and I was really tempted with the Angolans last year. But there is no way in hell that I would purchase from someone the refuses to address customer issues. Even in private.

But non-feeders which I found out after I sent money. Then a week later they were great feeders. I passed due to that and also that was the time that the mite issue was raised.
 
Once again this looks really bad for Ed since the test result came back for Emily's snakes and even worse on him for not manning up and responding. Sadly I think Mr. Clark is playing ostridge. He is hiding his head in a pile of shit hoping this thread will just go away. Well Ed, it isn't. We ALL know you have been reading this and we ALL know that you are avoiding this topic. Why?

Yep, without ASRs I stay away form WC snakes that aren't acclaimated.

Part of my quarantine process includes treatment for mites... along with fecals no matter the source. I'd check snakes from God himself. That's one of the reasons I was interested in certian facts this thread brought to light- even that may not be enough. I'm making some ajustments in my procedures as a result.

The reason that I wish Ed would post isn't because I believe that the source of the parasites can be absolutely proved, it's because I would hope he cares enough to respond. I have bought from various folks & there's no end to that... but for me to evaluate buying from a person I need to believe two things about them:

1. They have integrity
2. They care about their animals

This is at the core of it for me.

Besides, since all this time has past from the start of the thread we all know Ed will never address this issue anyway. It's a shame too. He could have ended the suspicion about his animals quite a while ago.

I hesitated several times responding to this post, I am just having a hard time understanding how or why Ed Clark would be involved in this thread, I could understand if you had just gotten the ball, and its first defication had parasites, but I would imagine it produced a few more than just one fecal samples for you, and all of sudden 10 months later you notice worms....That seems like an issue between you and your snake, doesn't matter who the ball python came from, after over 10 months of ownership with (I am guessing) no problems, you experience worms....

I am sorry to hear about your situation, but trying to drag someones name threw the mud (which weither your trying to or not...your doing so) becuase of possibly something you have done...ie are you feeding live, where do you get your rodents, has it been house with other ball pythons...there are so many unanswered questions, and I could buy a Ball Python from..."insert name" and a year later somethings wrong with it, Ie, stops feeding, has parasites (mites, worms..ect.ect..) bad shed...how could I even bring the person I bought it from into the equation?....I just don't get that....

And I don't think I would respond to this thread if it was about me either...its insane...Again Sorry your snake has parasites, maybe you should take it to the vet, instead of trying to blame the person you bought it from almost a year ago...This whole thing would be different if you had just gotten the snake, and its first defication showed parasites...but 10 months later...come on...thats totally you..and you only...sorry...I hope this thread dies....

The testimonial page is completely useless in my opinion. They simple delete the threads that posts a negative review about a business that the moderators have had a positive transaction with. While they sticky a good guy thread at the top of the forum for the same person.

Nick Bachman has called for a blanket banning of all Fauna Members on the forum.

Interesting the forum Moderators (including Nick Bachman) can silence anyone that posts a negative review about a business they have had a positive transaction with.

I register on the site when one of the members posted a link here. For simply registering my character was called into question and I was named on the forum in a negative light by Nick. Even though, I have never posted anything negative about Ed on this forum or any other. Simply because I was also registered on Fauna. Great moderating there.

I think you will find our moderating here a little more ethical.
