In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Heronboy, Jereme James, America's Finest Balls

You're very welcome, meow! It'd seem that you're dissembling now, but I suspect that you're currently afflicted with the same sudden-onset idiocy that also comes on when Frade is the subject. Go ahead and coddle the bad guy if that's your chosen method of karma-whoring. Time and time again, they use the excuse that, "my reputation is shot, so I might as well do nothing." You're exceptionally dense and naive if you think that that rationalization has much basis in reality. It's nothing more than an excuse to stay their chosen course.

Thanks for stepping forward.

My sincerest hope was that the OP would receive his money back if Jereme still thought there was some chance of salvaging his own reputation. That he might save face with at least a few people if he did the right thing.

While the bash fest might be fun for everyone, it's not remotely productive. I have in the past seen bad guys finally give in to peer pressure and return the stolen money/animals that were owed. I truly hoped that would happen again here.

I may have been naive to think that, but my only concern was the chance that the OP might get his refund after all. I feel absolutely devastated that the OP is going through this, and incredibly disappointed that Jereme would so casually dismiss this theft. I can't even fathom how he can be so casual about walking away with $4500 that is not his.

I was not defending Jereme. What he has done here is inexcusable, and I will never be doing business with him again, or recommending him.

If you have issues with my opinion about Frade, I'd be happy to discuss that via PM with you.

FYI: The offer I proposed on post #87 will expire at the end of today. I saw Mr. James on this thread after I made the offer, so he saw it. After today over to them to solve.

Robert,
That is a very kind and generous offer you've made. While Jereme James has said he won't refund my money, I still believe he can turn this around and make the right decision.

I hope that he does. That said, this is such a large sum of money that I am confident you will be successful if you are forced to take legal action, just as I am confident that Jereme will find himself in a very bad situation. Either way, good luck.

Start linking this with his www.builderboy.com business. I KNOW he cares about that. If you need help... I gotta guy! He's easy to hire too. And he will attach the World to you Jereme! The internet ain't a real sweet thing when you have a dirty diaper dude! Bet me.

I guarantee your/his compliance after www.builderboy.com is linked into this. When potential clients review you, and check in on you. This and the Iguana scheme. It's past time to start linkin and stinkin em all together. :-/

Oh, and don't worry for me guys. I have a juggernaut suit coming in for XMAS. They want $1.3million for it... But. Now I can walk around out front in peace. :)

Ought oh. Oh wow! I bet I just linked it up for ya by mentioning it. But guess what... It can be worse!

(I wasn't gonna post anymore. But, I didn't feel the love yet!)

I will consolidate and try again.

How did the snakes come to arrive at the rescue rather than getting delivered to the buyer's shipping address?

Were the iguanas enclosed at some point in the prosthetic leg and what explanation can be offered to justify that if so?

We will need him strapped to a chair for those answers my good man... Anybody decent with water? :)

If the check was mailed, it's Federal Mail Fraud.
Reading all this plus the fact I was just cheated by a seller here makes me wonder how many ARE actually legitimate healthy animals. Thanks, CROOKS!!!

Good point my man! Check sent through USPS actually makes the whole case Federal. This would mean John could deal with authorities where he is instead of trying to get California law enforcement involved long distance. I really would go this route. Nothing like the FBI or Postal inspectors showing up at your door to make you change your mind and be reasonable!

Nick, you asked:
How did the snakes come to arrive at the rescue rather than getting delivered to the buyer's shipping address?

as scheduled I received the snakes tuesday oct. 8th the clown looks great and the sterling mojo yb is in shed. I will offer the clown food tomorrow and the other in a week or two.

I also got a chain of custody report from Fed-ex and it was good news. The package was opened friday and brought to a museum that evening. The museum had no idea what to do with them and gave them to the rescue Saturday

There's your answer, from Jereme himself. The snakes went to a museum, then to the rescue, then back to Jereme, and then auctioned off with no disclosure of their worldly travels and inadequate quarantine by Jereme prior to his auction.

Allow me to make an obvious rephrase, then.

How did the snakes come to arrive at the museum rather than getting delivered to the buyer's shipping address?

I've been wondering this too Nickolas. How did they end up so far away in another state? I can see going to a wrong address in the same city, but how does this happen?

FYI to all: Mr. James never responded to the offer I proposed, and therefore it has expired now.

Even offering up a middle ground solution to let both parties move past this was not enough. Hoping that Mr. James is going to "still" make things right seems incredibly unlikely. Ultimately misplaced PRIDE is his downfall.

Sorry John.

With all due respect, that question was asked many pages ago. No one really knows and no one is offering answers. Read the entire thread, please.

Robert, your offer was incredibly sane and generous, and would have brought this most obvious theft to a rational and fair conclusion.

I hate that John will still be (insert expletive) even after your offer to save Jereme's rep and face has been totally dissed.

Jereme, you've been weighed, measured and been found completely wanting.

With all due respect, that question was asked many pages ago. No one really knows and no one is offering answers. Read the entire thread, please.

So what if it was asked many pages ago unless it was also answered many pages ago? If so, I (and seemingly some others may have) missed it and would like a helping hand in being directed to it. If not, I would like to receive it from the buyer, the seller, or both. If there is a label we can see or a tracking number with some information behind it, perhaps that might help (or might not, but I feel I can ask regardless).

No one really knows? Is it possible to find out, though? Do both parties have no information to share and no access to labels or FedEx personnel who might be able to assist? Beats me, so I have asked. As for no one offering answers, that is why I am asking again (and again if need be). Jeff's curiosity appears to be piqued like my own regarding this matter of possible consequence.

It would be nice for evidence to be provided that the package was sent to the correct address and it would also be nice to figure out how a mix up (if it was not incorrectly addressed in the first place) like this manifested.

If reading the thread again might get us the information, then please simply link to where it is provided when time permits.

Maybe this whole thing was a scam from the get go.

I think Jereme needed quick cash and had this planned out from the start. This sounds way to off beat to happen the way it did. Sounds planned!

I am speculating here. I think the label came off of the box, or was removed by a disgruntled fed ex employee, the box was then in "no mans land" it was opened, no label inside, obviously animals, so Fed ex sent them to the museum to deal with as they saw fit.?

Nickolas,

READ! You can find it all on post #1

Jereme James (Heronboy) kept my $4,500 and threatened to donate, or already donated, the snakes I bought from him to an auction.

Although I've already posted a thread about Jereme James (Heronboy) of America's Finest Balls, that is now 13 pages long with over 7,300 views, I believe this condensed version is important for Fauna's BOI because there are people who are spending money with Jereme James (Heronboy) who have a right to know how he treats some of his customers.

In short, I purchased two adult snakes from Jereme James (Heronboy, America's Finest Balls) for $4,500. They were shipped to me from California on Monday, September 23, 2013 and the box was scanned in at the FedEx hub in Memphis, TN at 12:18 am on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, the day they were scheduled to arrive to my hub in Alabama. More than a week passed, with no snakes being delivered to me or a refund being issued, before I learned that the snakes I was supposed to receive were in a rescue facility in Arkansas where they stayed for about two weeks before being shipped back to Jereme on October 7th.

After repeated attempts to get a refund of my $4,500 from Jereme James (Heronboy), for snakes I never received, Jereme summed up his take on the matter with this comment, "Animals were mine, you purchased them, I delivered them to a carrier at which point relinquishing ownership of the animals" (page 3).

If that faulty logic wasn't alarming enough, Jereme left me with this ultimatum "I am extending the clock to begin today affording you 14 days to accept your property or it will be deemed abandoned at which point it will be donated to the upcoming USARK auction" (page 3).

I know some people have had a positive experience with him and I think that's great…I even took my chances to do business with him. So, please know that I am not asking for anyone to pick sides here, this isn't about a debate for me. I simply want to share my personal experience with Jereme James (Heronboy) who, I believe, cares more about winning some contest of wills than he does about taking care of his customers.

*The other thread includes all of the email correspondence that took place between Jereme James (Heronboy) and me; documenting the timeline of events, my repeated requests for a refund and, perhaps most importantly, Jereme James' attitude about taking my money and expressing, publicly, that this is a winning situation for him (page 7). I have also embedded links in this post to specific pages where I reference anything said by Jereme and linked the word "thread" to the original post I've referenced.

I don't blame Jereme James (Heronboy) for losing the shipment, but, his actions and choices, while the snakes were missing and since they were recovered from the rescue facility (that are available on a public forum, for everyone to see), have left me comfortable about bringing anything into my collection that may came from him.

Bottom line- the animals I purchased from Jereme James (Heronboy) were shipped back to him from the rescue facility, yet Jereme James has kept my $4,500.
How anyone could justify keeping another person's money like this is beyond me.

I can say this - if Jereme James (Heronboy) is selling snakes here on Fauna, then he's making money and if he's making money then he should be able to pay me back for the snakes I never received.

Thanks,
John Woolard

Those BPs must be thanking Set they were not sent to a Subway in a bad neighborhood as a matter of FedEx course, then.
