I've read through all the previous threads especially regarding herpfauna plus. I tend not to read much of the Neil threads because I could just as easily sit here and type "blah blah blah" all day long and get more entertainment and less repetition.
Perhaps you just don't understand the way the Board of Inquiry works. It's a lot more than just simply sharing your experiences. It's how you conduct yourself that really makes a difference.
I have yet to see a "Good Guy" blame other people for all their mistakes, use foul language, threaten to sue the BOI for its actions, use profanity and idiotic and pointless terms like "got your panties in a twist" (what the HECK does that really MEAN?)
Bad guys, on the other hand, are quick to send private emails to the Webslave telling him to "remove the post or be sued and brought to your knees" or some such drivel, they immediately proclaim that they are the one being wronged by the "inner circle". Which means, as one person pointed out, that they are in the "bad guy circle" and the "good guy circle" has them pegged. They always point out how it's someone else's fault, they often "convert to god", they lie, they sometimes make up names and post good guy threads under those posts. They DO DO this too, so is it any wonder when members of Herpfauna plus come on here full of profanity, changed personalities (examine Abi's posts, her personality did a 180), when they come on here with accusations that DEMONSTRATE that they have no flippin idea of what is going on, when they proudly proclaim that their illegal activities are of no note... etc. It's been done before, you aren't the first, so pardon those of us in the "good guy circle" for being suspicious.
YES... Herpfauna may have learned their lessons... they may never represent as blonde a tortoise that is not, or pastel a ball python that is not... they may never steal a picture and wipe out the watermark, or break the TOS of kingsnake.com ... they may have LEARNED. But as long as they keep coming on here and proclaiming how awful the BOI is, how BAD alex hue is, etc. they won't get a good name. Try to take Alex Hue's example... He did a BAD THING... he misrepresented a tortoise... and he offered to rectify the situation. He did not blame the other party for being mean to him. He did not say anything at all bad. He took his lumps, gave a partial refund, and merrily went on his way, glad to have fixed the situation. THAT my friend is a good guy. Nope, he's not perfect. But he does a good job of fixing the situation. He didn't HAVE to post a message here that brought to light his own error but he felt that the error that Herpfauna was making was much more devious. NOT ONLY were they representing an animal as a genetic mutation it was NOT, they were using HIS altered photo to do so! To root out the bad guy, he was willing to expose to the cynosure of all the BOI his own error in measuring the animal that was sold.
And you know what? Abi did an excellent job of being an outstanding seller who had made a mistake like the one Alex made. She came on here, she admitted fault, she was calm, cool, rational, she gave every appearance of a "GOOD GUY" and I found myself watching the Herpfauna ads, thinking someday, when I have more money, I might give them a shot. This was due to Abi's posting! See no bad guy thread can REALLY brand a person a BAD GUY... only the response and reaction of the bad guy do that.
But once Abi did a 180 and started to bash Alex for a long dead issue, well she showed herself, and herpfauna in their true light. Alas, now, by the actions of HERPFAUNA, and NOBODY else, I know I should NEVER deal with them.
