    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just finished reading this thread and I'm so sorry you've been pushed into this ordeal, Laura. It seems obvious this wasn't just a simple mistake and I hope Randy returns your bee (which is a stunning boy, btw) and makes things right.

This would allow for a restoration of your reputation and put this to bed. This site really is bigger than just "some reptile site" it's used by a huge amount of reptile enthusiasts and saving face here will help you immensely in the future.

That's a pretty amazing offer.

IMO if Randy has any intention of staying in this business he'd better be all over that like bees to honey.

As it stands right now I'm pretty sure no one running across this thread would ever do any sort of business with him. And he can just sit back and watch the number of thread views increase from day to day...
 
I have attached the link for this thread on several FB Groups I am a Member of. If everyone does that, it will soon be all over BF & He won`t ve able to Buy/ Sell anything.

I don't think his dad would be of much help, regardless of his age, but ...
Randy is a 34 yr. old with a criminal history.

I wish Laura could get her snake back &/or some form of compensation. Unfortunately, from what has been put forth, thus far, (& more) ... it does not appear that Randy wishes to be an upstanding individual.

This guy is "something else".
Word, about him, will get around Ohio ... and, I am sure, everywhere else too.
 
Randy, try to save face, return ALL your animals, leave this hobby and try to scam elsewhere because as you can see your scams are being stopped pretty darn quickly. Secondly, take an English class or something because you're spelling and everything is ATROCIOUS. Just to start there is a D at the end of AND. You're done here skip on to the next attempt and leave the hobby alone to people that actually care.
 
Hopefully this comes to a resolutions. Ill be willing to pitch in on the shipping back of the Bee to Laura in the event that Randy miraculous decides he should do the right thing. In the event that he doesn't, it truly shows his character. He has a freebie way out of this mess and he doesn't seem to be interested in doing so.. hopefully he still has her bee.
 
Randy will never ship back the bee, it never had an RI, he knowingly shipped a smaller than agreed upon animal that he knew was a male and not a female and is nothing more than a lying cheat.
At this point, best bet would be to pursue some legal action against him (he seems to be no stranger to that :rolleyes:) and put the word out to avoid this guy like the plague.
It's people like Randy that screw up this entire hobby. :angry:
 
Well just to let everyone know I also text Randy my offer in case he wasn't still reading this thread, I also offered to build him a rack free of charge because he had contacted me earlier about needing one so the deal is I'll trade him the black pastel and a brand new 6 level 32qt rack for the bee.

No response as of yet I text him this morning around seven am. I will keep everyone posted if I receive a response. I hope we can get this resolved for your sake Laura.
 
I wouldn't give this guy anything.
He is a thief and needs to be treated like one.
You do not reward thieves. He needs to either do what is right or he needs to pay the consequences.

It's a bad idea. Helping someone is one thing, rewarding a thief is another.
This idea would reward a thief.
 
Hey Steve, while I do see where you are coming from, I'm looking at it from more of a resolution standpoint. I realize that Randy still gets to keep his snake and a free rack also but Laura gets her bee back also so I guess I just feel like it's a justifiable sacrifice on my part to bring a resolution to this ugly mess.

I would not give him anything, he doesn't deserve it. And as much as Laura deserves to get a female black pastel, no one should have to give in to him in order for her to get it. Also, who's to say he even actually has one?

I know you don't want people to buy you a Bee, Laura. But if people want to put in to buy a female black pastel, I'd contribute. I'd rather that be done than a known scammer getting anything he wants.
 
I know she already said that she doesnt want people to contribute towards the amount of loss. and others have commented on not rewarding the thief. SO, to kill two birds so to speak, how about contributions towards legal fees to prosecute him?
