the page is gone...the signatures are being worked on. i am not justifying any of her actions. i and her know she lied ...now i have to find out why she lied.

You'd be surprised. Most of the people on this site are more than accepting of true, heart-felt, and sincere apologies. An admission of guilt and a sincere apology goes a long way.

And if the website is taken down, and she STOPS referring to herself as a "rescue" and trying to gain support...it just might make a difference in the minds of a lot of people.

She can't go back and redo what is already done. But she can start over and avoid making the same mistakes again. And if she is diligent in doing things right the second time around...she may just find herself in a better situation in short time...

I'm referring to your intentions and newfound ethical standpoints.

Anyway, just remember its not necessarily bad to tell people that you'll take in sick animals. The fact that your wife actually enjoys nursing creatures back to help is very commendable. Just don't go overboard and lie to get what you want. Solved.

That's a step in the right direction, for sure. Hopefully you and your wife have both learned the importance of integrity. If not for the benefit of others, at least for the benefit of yourselves as a couple and your hopeful business ventures in the future.

Personally...I hope that all of this was not for nothing. I hope that after 200+ pages of "he said, she said", back and forth name calling, threats, insults, and lies, something positive comes from all of it. Namely that you and your wife learn the proper way to conduct yourselves amongst fellow herp enthusiasts, and how to properly establish yourselves as legitimate, wether you decide to pursue a true reptile rescue service or simply as a profitable business venture.

We, as breeders, keepers, dealers, and sellers, really only have one thing...our integrity. Without it we are all dead in the water. But with it...we can be successful. I hope you and your wife have learned this lesson, and further, I hope you take it to heart, and strive for betterment for yourselves and your local herp endeavors.

Unless there is some monumental change...I'm over and out of this topic. I've said my peace, and I, personally, have heard what I wanted to hear.

Read the date on that post. It was posted yesterday afternoon...LONG before all of the recent admissions and apologies came about.

I believe Aaron is trying to make things right. If she listens to no one else, she may listen to his reasoning, and make an effort to rescue what little she has left of her own integrity.

Don't be so quick to slay someone. Give her a chance to make things right.

She may not deserve a whole lot, but she at least deserves the opportunity to make things right.

IMO she deserved what she got and much more. A leopard is not going to change its spots overnight.

I was willing to give Mr. Beacom the benefit of the doubt but now my instincts are telling me he is just mouthing words that he knows people want to hear. Sort of like the way these kids now days say “my bad” without sincerity thinking it makes something right just because they mouthed the words.

I'm no psychologist or anything, but lets assume for a moment that the way you talk about your wife in this thread around total strangers is the way you talk to her around the house and around your children. I'm not trying to find an excuse for your wife's behavior, because I liked ragging on her. But certainly its my feeling from all your posts that most of her troubles could directly stem from you.

Let me tell you why I think that....

Earlier on you said that you would not give your wife the money to send in the applications to become an actual 501 c 3 rescue. You wouldn't even give her the money to have a professional website made. But yet its quite apparent that you sink thousand into pimping junk cars to show them off at car shows just to win your silly ass trophies. How about her dreams and ambitions? Why do you set yourself up for 100% success and her for disaster?

I think the answer to those questions is fairly obvious. In your own words, "she isn't smart enough to figure it out". She cant figure out that you come first and she comes last. That your projects are more important than hers.

Again, not defending her actions, but maybe in her mind she had legitimate reasons to lie. Maybe she just didn't want to let go of her dream to be an actual rescue.

Chuck... you bring up some good points. I guess I am still a bit under the influence of all the Nyquil and missed those. I just got done reading the other train wreck thread.... and quite frankly... I didnt need to be laughing that much. Thanks Rich.... now my throat is really raw from the coughing.

anyhow... back to this thread... what I have gotten out of it thus far... is exactly what Chuck stated... and that I am the man of the house...therefore you do what I say. Wow.... I thought we had gotten over this years ago. Im glad your not down here in AR... we get enough bad rep without the likes of you. And they call us backwoods.

And who pray tell is she referring to? The only person that "stepped in and used [her] name" was her husband Aaron from his own admission which ultimately got her account "band". And she's "not the only person they've done [sic] this too"? I think she's got her tin foil hat on 2 sizes too tight. And the sad thing is, she seems to be sucking more people into her lies and self-perpetuating drama.

after this i doubt i'll rescue because one they have made me look bad..

I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt considering all the damage control that Aaron has tried to do whilst in a very precarious predicament, but honestly, this woman will just not cease and desist. If this is her husband that she keeps alluding to, it even shows to what extent she'll crap on her family just to keep her own hands clean. If it's not, I wonder who the hell she's talking about since it's in direct correlation to someone using her account here on the BOI.
