Actually - the thread is a trainwreck, IMO. What good you could have done, is done. You, and your wife, would be best served by leaving it alone. One thing you may not understand is that EVERYBODY that has a negative thread about them would like them deleted, or locked. There is, as far as I can tell, no justification to lock this one.

If you had any sense, you'd have walked away no later than post 166 - you had a few very good opportunities before that, but that was a perfect exit point. I doubt you will get another that will allow you to leave with some semblance of respect.
