Inquiry - Michele Sinayi

Anyone have any experience dealing with a Michele Sinayi from Texas? Fauna username is "5Star". She has some BP for sale that I was thinking of inquiring about, wondering if anyone has dealt with her previously.

Im pending a deal with 5Star.

5Star sent me emails stating his name was Mickey Hurt. The another email he left it signed off as Mickey Sinayi.

I PayPal'd him the money, and his name on PayPal was Anthony Hurt.

He did give me his address. Its Alington, Texas.

I work in investigations, and I ran a search on an "Anthony Hurt", and it did infact come up to the same address that he told me.

Heres what makes me uncomfortable;
He would reply to my emails almost within 5 minutes from each one. After I sent the payment, he never got back to my emails.

This could be one of two things;
1, It was 12am-2am timing, maybe he logged off.
2, He scammed me, and just took my money.

I'll deffinately post the outcome of this later today, if he DOES infact reply to me.

Well, that is a very intersting development.....perhaps he decided to work under an alias after a couple of the last threads on the BOI about him....

Arlington, Texas is where the Tony Hurt in question in these threads is from, so.....perhaps an IP check by one of the mods between the 2 is in order.

Doug, it appears that Michele ("Mickey") is Tony's wife. I'm guessing he's trying to hide from his other threads under her skirt is all.

Yea, I found that out today.

Mickey states that Anthony "Tony" Hurt is her ex.

Heres the emails from start to finish, up to today. Said S/he would call me back after work.

Doug,

I can get some weights this weekend. I think the most the animals are in the 200-300 gram range. They have not been fed heavy and they are SUPER feeders. Any of the males should grow quickly for you.

Gee I wonder if the X got the snakes and the Paypal account in the divorce settlement?? I really really really doubt it !!! My guess is that this is Tony wearing a skirt(there's a scary image) and trying to sell some snakes. I'd make a call to paypal and explain what's going on and see if they will get your money back before it's to late...

Theres literetly NO way he can get through our investigation software.

Doug, you do know that Anthony has burned some folks in the past right?? If he was on the up and up he'd be using his own name . Now you've sent the guy money which will help him hang on a while longer in this business which also gives him the opportunity to burn more people. The reason it take so long to be rid of the Scammers and thieves in the reptile business is that they do make good on some deals while ripping others off and so by your supporting him you help him burn others. Yeah you might get a good deal but when you do get burned by someone think of this IE who helped that person stay in business long enough to rip you off.. Randy

I understand you didn't have any knowledge of this before you started the transaction, (which is why I made an inquiry first, something smelled funny to me), and I can't blame you for wanting to close it and get the snake you paid for. I don't think Tony will fail to send you the animal. I also still don't believe that they are being honest with you, and would hope you would not support folk like him in the future...

Just thinking here....if your foolproof investigation software says that Tony lives at the same physical address Michele does, wouldn't that indicate that they are still together?

Did they ever call you?

Where you been Cat? LOL The world's been that way for a while now. Gets worse every year too.

Shameful it has run so rampant in this industry. It's only the few good ones that keep me involved, and having hope, any more.

I understand what you're saying Doug, I really do. And like I said, I can understand why you'd go through with your current deal.

The only problem I have is that he hasn't made right on some deals with other people, so he appears to be hiding under her name to keep business up. If he'd just make right on those deals, he wouldn't have to hide to do business......and hiding under another name to avoid taking care of past bad deals ain't doing business right, IMO. Make right on the bad deals, and then I give the benefit of the doubt. See what I'm saying?

Well,

Mickey did call me and I had a coversation with her.

Tony is her ex, and she wants nothing to do with him. Every thing is well, and delivery is set to arrive to me on wednesday.

She told me she is picking up business on her, not Tony, and want to do right.

With this kind of shenanigan seeming to go on so frequently lately, I just find it hard to believe. Call me jaded, or whatever....I just hate seeing bad deals not getting made good, and good folks left in the lurch.

Hopefully it will all get sorted out, and you'll get a nice snake to boot.

Well, I don't think I believe it either, Randy.....but I was kind of waiting to see if "5Star" would give us an answer. She/he was reading this thread for quite some time, but now moved on without any reply, so....

They come up as a the same address, but its an old record. They dont refresh for a while, so she could be at a different address, but it doesnt show yet.

Ill check again though, with her name.
