In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Me and John both said we couldn't believe you bought from that scum bag. It is a nice looking snake, but who actually produced it we will never know.

Do You have a Mouse in your pocket A-hole?

Bobby, I don't know the exact date and I'm at work so can't check my records. I know I called the first night that they offered the Mojaves for $800. Spoke to Joe, heard the "giving back to the people" story and gave him my Credit Card number. I got my snake the following Monday, not sure if it was because I was one of the first few to call or what, but they must have had him in stock as I received pics of 4 different males to choose from after I paid. Over the course of the next week things blew up for MKR with Joe posting here, the "TV show", etc.

Thanks Sam!! That is all I wanted to know.

Sorry to use your name, but I guess Sam doesn't remember us all standing in his basement breaking his balls buying from the scumbag. Was just trying to jar his memory. If you have a problem with that call me and call me a d---head. But I also stated that it was a nice looking snake and we both agreed on that. In case you or Sam don't remember it was the morning of the MARS show.

Brian, here is what I remember, and this is the last time I am going to post about it, further discussion can be over beers at Johns house on rat pick-up day.

You guys stopped in on your way to the show, I think it was to pick up the Het Albino female for Phil, and being as that was the first time you had been over we went downstairs so I could show you my balls ( ). We went to the left room of the basement and checked out the breeders and babies then we went to the room across the hall where I quarantined new arrivals. I think I had the Mojave and a female albino in there at the time, but the albino may have already been out of quarantine. Anyhow, I remember you saying "So that's what an $800 Mojave looks like", which surprised me as by then all hell had broken loose on the message boards and John was the only one I had told about who/where he had come from. I remember waiting for you to start giving me a hard time but don't honestly remember you saying anything else, I assumed you were just respecting the fact that you were in my home, as a guest. I remember the Mojave striking a few times and us laughing that he thought he was a Mojave rattlesnake not a Ball python. Then I remember you guys getting on the road heading to the show. After John came back that night I remember talking to him on the phone asking how the show was and busting his balls for dropping the dime on me. That's what I recall from that day.

If I am not mistaken, Wes is partnered with Amir(Amir is breeding his snakes I think) neither has anything to do with Joe......pretty sure anyways

So rick is not partnered with Wes.....but Joe, I have no idea.....isn't about 99% of the people selling on kingsnake re-selling/brokering anyways?? They all have the same sources.....all of them, lol

I do not broker!

I sell offspring that hatched here, offspring that I revieved as part of a breeding loan, or animals I got from trades. Who am I kidding, I keep most of what I trade for:)

Lol Jas....true so true.....but Ian isnt the only one out there.....I wouldn't be surprised if even some of those who sell to re-sellers, buy from certain people who got them from people like joe, etc....everyone buys from everyone.....even if they publicly detest each other, lol....its just the way it is.....

MIAMI MAN SENTENCED FOR ILLEGALLY SMUGGLING PROTECTED REPTILES

Orlando, Florida - U.S. District Judge Anne Conway, today sentenced Michael Barrera, 21, of Miami, to 24 months imprisonment for conspiracy to smuggle protected wildlife into the United States. Barrera entered a guilty plea to the charge on December 22, 2004.

According to the plea agreement, Barrera and another coconspirator, who lived outside of the United States, agreed to send reptiles to one another between the United States and Singapore. The coconspirator shipped reptiles by commercial carrier to Barrera from Singapore, and Barrera shipped reptiles by commercial carrier and the U.S. Postal Service to his coconspirator in Singapore. Neither Barrera nor his coconspirator obtained the necessary permits for the international shipment of the animals, nor did they declare the animals upon their export or import. Shipping documents were prepared which omitted any reference to the fact that wildlife was contained in the shipments and intentionally mislabeled the shipments as containing things such as books and magazines.

The animals shipped by Barrera are protected by international treaty and U.S. laws. These laws protect rare animals from overexploitation and commercilization on a worldwide basis. In addition, U.S. law requires that packages containing animals be properly labeled and declared for inspection by U.S. Customs and Border Protection and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service agents. Importation of certain animals can create a significant risk of disease transmission potentially harmful to humans such as salmonella. Additionally, shipment of live venomous reptiles poses a significant risk to those who handle the shipments without knowledge of the contents.

Barrera admitted to importing or exporting over 500 animals covered by these laws with a market value between $200,000 and $400,000.

The case was investigated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Carolyn J. Adams
