I agree about posting on the BOI, hence, since I do my best to be honest I don't believe I ever did. I did chime in once or twice in different topics (Boa forum and Hell perhaps), but most of you have all the bases covered anyway, so I usually keep my yap shut.

Less chance of me stick my feet in my mouth if it's closed! :)

My, oh my Johnny, you sure do have a bug up your butt about the whole single logon thing huh? What did that extra logon do to you? You'd think it came and stole your baby in the middle of the night. Jeesh!

Anyway, you said my "shady behavior", could you do me a favor and jog my memory by telling me what I ever did that was "shady"? I'm just curious. I know I was a real @_ _ hole and verbally abusive, and well ya know, all that. But I don't remember ever being a shady sheister type. :>poke2<:

"........his name is my name tooooo......"

Nice to see that an increase in your maturity level wasn't a part of that "new leaf" you are supposedley turning over. The last couple of posts have been a real eye opener as to your professionalism and ability to effect a change in your past pathetic attempts at engaging in business.

Now...on to your next question.

SHADY ACTIVITIES OF MR. TRUDE

1.) Soliciting special needs animals for adoption and then selling said animals.

2.) Failing to mention to the buyer of said animals that they have any problems

3.) Sending out other misrepresented animals to other buyers.

4.) Re-registering on this forum multiple times under assumed names (some female....that's intersting) in order to bypass your well earned suspensions

5.) Posting pyramid schemes on this site in multiple forums.

I am sure I could add a few more if I put my mind to it but I think the list above stands pretty well alone.

Bottom line Ryan is that your past "bad guy" status was and is richly deserved. Is it possible for someone like you to turn it around? Possible but not really probable given all of the past weasels that have tried it here and failed by reverting to type.

Time will tell Ryan but if your delightful posts of the last several days are any indication....I don't think any of us will be holding our breath

Johnny, do you maybe like sleep in a military uniform and wear a Hitler-style mustache? You seriously need to lighten up. You seem to have absolutely no sense of humor. I'm joking. Trying to add a little light to your extrememly dark personality. If there's something wrong with joking around, which I'm sure to you there probably is, sorry. Oh no wait, no I'm not. I can see how someone as uptight as yourself would perceive your list the way you do. You are wrong about one half and misinformed about the other half. That's all I have to say. I'm not gonna argure my life with you. Take it easy man. Seriously, TAKE IT EASY. That kind of attitude's not good for ya. Also, you're getting up in the years I believe. Time to start being a little heart healthy don't ya think?

Can I get an Answer To This ????

Ok I understand Ryan Turning a New Leaf But What concerns me is that she gave birth twice and out of all of these babies, did any of them show this Bump/Kink?? at all if it is genetic, it would showed some where in the 2 clutches unless I'm mistaken
Ryan Can You Please Answer This :)

Hey Bill. I think I gave a simple answer to that before but didn't go into detail. I have talked to Dave thoroughly about the whole thing. Both before and after I bought her. He told me that she had 2 litters for him. The first one was like 20 live and a few slugs. The second was if I remember correctly, 22 or 23 live and one slug. Sorry, I'm not exact on that. I basically just wanted to know what kind of breeding history she had and of course if the babies were healthy. Which he told me they were. I don't believe at all that her neck is a genetic problem anyway. You can tell this girl didn't receive proper care at some point in her life. And I don't believe Dave was the one guilty of that either. But aside from her physical imperfections, she exhibits no signs whatsoever that she's not as healthy as any other on the inside. And I can only relate the information I have about her. I know I'm not speaking from my own experiences with her. But what am I supposed to do, say that I don't know anything about her at all? She's about 6 years old. I know nothing, she showed up on my doorstep. This is all becoming a moot issue anyway because my mind is changing back to keeping her again. When I look at her coloration at night, I really question giving her up. And I'm in the middle of paying off an adult male possible super salmon that would be an excellent match for her. He has a high mood range and I think putting them together will make some interesting hypo Hoggs which I might just do. Might as well. I don't think anyone wants to take on an imperfect animal anyway. Guess I'm the only one with the compassionate heart of gold. :) Anyway, hope that satisfies you. If not, feel free to ask anything else. That goes for anyone else with any questions too. Ryan.

Does ANYONE else know of a hogg that size that has had litters THAT large?

Of course, dave derrick is just the pinnicle truth.

ryan, you're lyin'. I don't think you've changed AT ALL.

What are you talking about?

I've heard it's common for Hoggs to have litters of 30 or more. I've never personally bred Hoggs myself. Have you? Believe want you want. I believe you're one of those people that do nothing but dissect and bad mouth other people. I don't know what your reasons are but prove to me otherwise. Your behavior shows no evidence of anything else.

Ryan, Ok I must have missed on the breeding thing, My Bad I thought You bred her and had 2 clutches from her.I would really be interested to find out if it's an old war wound or if genetic. Good Luck if you keep her and breed I'd like to see what is produced.... :)

I'm not much of a BC man myself (although, one of the things on my list of projects is some of the smaller "purebred" insular boas) but, not to change the subject, Salmons aren't hoggs correct? So if you bred the Salmon to the Hogg you might get hypos, but they wouldn't be hoggs. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong (on the salmons).

No problem Bill. Easy to see how something vague like that can be misunderstood. As far as getting an answer to her neck, I'm planning on taking her to a vet for a checkup in a couple weeks. I doubt they can tell me exactly how it was caused but it would be nice to get a professional opinion. I'm waiting for the weather to get warm before I take her out though. I'll attach a pic of the male salmon I'm getting. I think he'll compliment her well. I predict the babies will be dark but interesting and hopefully with a wide range of color variation. John, when you breed a hypo Colombian to a Hogg, you end up with Colombian X Hogg hybrids but because the hypo trait is dominant/co-dom. it is exhibited in the offspring and makes them look really nice. I don't like mutts in general if there's no purpose to them and you're just gonna make an animal that holds nothing very spectacular but Hoggs are naturally hypomelanistic and if you're creating beautiful animals, I see nothing wrong with it. As a matter of fact, I think it's really cool that breeders can manipulate traits to produce something nature can't. The whole idea behind captive breeding is to create amazing animals we don't get directly from the wild.

I've been looking around, I guess the average Hogg litter maxes out around 20. This female is 6 feet long and girthy. Totally full grown size for a true Hogg. I see no reason why she couldn't have a maximum sized litter. Guess we'll see (hopefully). Wes, I'll be sure to count them just for you.

Are you SURE you can count to 20 all by yourself? Or are you one of those guys that goes, "one, two, nine, ten, TWENTY"

Don't start with me if you're not SURE what you're asking for.

Boy.

Thought you might like to see what I finally went with...

Went to a local reptile shop that I had never been to before that had a good reputation (Markheim Pets) - just to see what they had. Lo and behold, they had a female baby Hog Island boa! Snag! Here's a photo of the little girly.

Just have to wait a few years now and eventually I'll have some Hog babies as well.

Not bad Lauren. She's not real brilliant but looks pure. Good luck with her.

Isn't there anyone else out there that can't understand why Wes can get away with petty bull$ - - t that everyone else gets warning points and/or banned for? I personally don't get it.

I am the one currently in the deal to sell Ryan the poss. super salmon he posted the pic of.

The deal is not over yet, but I must say he has seen absolutely proffesional through all of our communcations. I was very surprised to see this thread here. Speaking from my personal experience with him so far, he does not seem to be a bad guy at all to me.

As far as the deal goes with selling a snake with any sort of problem. I would not do it, unless I knew for sure, beyond the shadow of a doubt, it was only cosmetic. And if this were the case I would be completely up front about it with any potential buyer.

I actually know the Hog female in question and that she has definitely had two large, healthy litters. There were photos of both of them on a boa forum I moderate. I have not spoken to Dave in over a year, but am dismayed to find out he has such a bad rep here, and that he brought it upon himself. I have only had one deal with him in which I sold him a baby female albino boa. None of his actions would have led me to believe that he was an untrustworthy person.

Just my .02.....

My input

I see that I'm a little late to this thread but I thought I'd add my two-cents. I am the person Ryan sold the first female Hogg Island Boa to... the one with the kinked neck. He was very honest about the condition of the snake and told me everything he knew. I bought her knowing she had a problem and knowing her age.

I've had another dealing with Ryan since then and have met him personally. I've never had any trouble with him. I've seen the posts under his old alias so I'm aware of what happened in the past. I'm not condoning what went on then, but that had nothing to do with the business that transpired between he and I. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with Ryan again in the future. I just wanted to ad this reference from someone whom he has done business with twice.

My camera kinda sucks - the flash washed her out, I really need to get a new digital cam. Lots of pink for a baby, hopefully she'll color up as she gets older.

No need to pass insults back and forth - Ryan did answer questions asked of him and looks like he's trying to be lots more professional than those old posts from a few years ago. When I emailed him (before I started the inquiry), his response to me did include the fact that the Hog has a bump on her neck, so while that might have been good to see in the ad, I didn't get the feeling he was trying to conceal anything in that regard.

Jesse and Crystal, thanks. I appreciate you expressing your points of view. I'm glad you feel that way. They're 2 of the dozens of people I definitely don't have any problem sharing their experience with me. In case I just set myself up for something, there isn't anyone that I hope wouldn't share their experiences with me. I haven't ever tried to hide anything about myself from anyone. I have no reason to. Anyway, I feel the same way about you guys. By the way Jesse, I'll be sending you another $200 on Friday. As far as selling her with the kink, I mean, that's how I bought her. It's not going away. I'll be glad to share what the vet says after I take her. Trust me, I'm just as interested to know what it is as everyone else who is concerned. But like I said, I changed my mind again about selling her anyway. I guess she's getting some super salmon lovin soon. I also guess maybe she's gonna be with me for the rest of her life. Nothing wrong with that. I wouldn't have bought her if I didn't like her. I've been concerned anyway that she goes to someone who'll care for her the right way. She's obviously had other owners who didn't care too much. She deserves to be comfortable. Alright, this is boring. Thanks again guys. Later.

Two points
1. I don't see much difference here. Wes' "humor" may or may not, (some people may take your Hitler reference a lot more seriously) be a bit more caustic than yours, but to each his own, I guess.
and
2. In case you missed it, Wes has 94 points and has paid enough fines that WS could add a day or two to a vacation package, if he were to ever get around to taking one.
