    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

OK LET ME REPHRASE THAT
Neil lies in the grey area between being legit and being a con.... better???

meanings maybe he isnt a con but he defaintely isnt legit... or totally legit
 
there is no grey area, ether you are forreal or your a conartist. if what this guy does is for example lie about size , color, age ect to sell an animal faster then he is a con. if all he does is call a hybrid a morph witch is what the freakshow of a thread started as then he is legit. no grey area.

Let me ask you this ...
If you dont know for SURE a animal is gravid ... do you tell someone that it might be in order to possibly move the animal faster ? I think maybe you havent known Neils ways for his duration in this business.Neil sorry you have never done me wrong but i have to speak my mind here .

Neil has repeatedly supported Sal and that alone is SHHHHADY being paid for something is nothing like sending your money to someone for something He stated not long ago he had changed his ways ( meaning Sal) Sal hasent changed anything from what i can see.

Neil has also stated before how he felt about each and everyone of us on the BOI which that alone showed alot about Neil ... Now i can say Neil speaks what he thinks that being true i had no choice to beleive what he wrote in the "private email was what he thought" about all of us since he didnt mention names it was a blanket term . Maybe neil does sell alot of animals good for neil and good for those who get them .. but we all know we each have opinions of everyone so this is just mine take it or leave it
 
do a search of neil and come to the conclusion for yourself...........
their is alot of ewading involved so get some munchies and soda and a nice cushioned chair youll be there awhile......
my statements are my opinions and no one elses this is what i think of him... everyone else can make there own decisions on him

but in this case, if it is possible he swims in the "grey: area
 
The original post quotes the ad saying that these are in their first year of production, but now on Neils site it says this is their 3rd year.Any idea what could have caused the change? Maybe this has been addressed already, but I am pretty sure I read all of the posts, and didn't see anything where Neil said "Oh, I found out today that this guy has been producing them for 3 years, so the ground floor idea is a flop".

naw, Just for giggles I checked out the site before work this mornng, and it had already been changed. That was before Dave's post.

of cource not! unless it is true. if I had two snakes housed together and seen courtships, it would not be wrong to say possibly gravid.

but how the hell can you prove or diss prove what someone is saying? all you can do is look up there track record, and personal nothing aganst the guy but i would never think about buying anything from him.
 
Just as I would never buy a gravid female and have her shipped, I sure as hell would not buy a pair that was copulating when being put in the bag. Can you say "prolapse"? Too risky.

When an ad states a female is probably pregnant (even though the seller doesn’t believe it), the prospective buyer is mislead in the wrong way ignorantly , and giving the benefit of the doubt, maybe not willfully. Selling animals as “probably”, “possibly”, etc. pregnant when the seller doesn’t even know first hand if there was even copulation, is a form of deception. One that ”excites false hopes, causing the buyer to undertake or expect what is impracticable, and making his failure ridiculous”.

Hey Alvaro, You know how on a really hot day, one where it's over a hundred degrees and you've been outside busting your butt moving heavy things and getting all dirty and gritty, sweat just dripping off your body, the dust so thick you can feel it congealing in your nose, so hot that the mirage of water you usually only see only on the road has moved into the yard with you, a really hot hot day when you're just working hard, you know how good that first cold beer feels going down, and I say feels because the first one you don't really even taste but, you know how that feels?

That's right and the problem is...

That once someone has been exposed for being shady or "Bad" there is always someone else who feels that they need to "Give them the benefit of the doubt" or "See for themselves", "Maybe they've changed their ways"...Well a Cheetah does not lose their spots and even though they may hide em behind a couple of Good guy posts, they're still there. Many bad people have been exposed on this site and I'm very thankful to have this resource at my fingertips but, What gives? You know the names and the stories and yet people still do business with these people. There are many decent folks that are willing to conduct business in an honest fashion yet some continue to award these "black-eyes" of the herp community with their patronage. I say Piss poor!

BTW that ad WAS misleading and meant to deceive. PERIOD.
 
WOW....

If a person in the reptile field does not know the difference between a cross, or hybrid and a morph, what are they doing selling ANYTHING? It is the same as selling a 100% het albino Ball whose parents were a 100% het and a NORMAL....If you do not know genetics, do not sell reptiles or stick with the pet store herps. I really do not know what is worse....ok, I do, but what is worse, someone selling crosses as morphs who KNOWS what they are doing or someone selling crosses as morphs who is just ignorant?

Paul, From my observations of the internet herp business, I have come to the conclusion that most buyers are attracted to the most sensational advertising. Instead of buying from the person who writes "I have one pair of very nice, well-feeding 18" exact measurement albino ball pythons for sale for $5,000"; most people will buy from the guy who writes "Hey gang lol lol lol I am releasing a pair of smmmoking high contrast ABP's so I can buy a Testarosa lol lol lol these babies have been pounding down rat pups since day one lol lol lol the last pair I sold went in 15 minutes so don't wait great deal at $7,000!!!!!
