Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Paradox Sharp Albino

Neil,

Let me start this one with a positive note. It is commendable that with all the animals you say you are currently selling, we haven't heard even one complaint. That is obviously a big change since last year. Either you have excellent new suppliers, you have improved your husbandry practices or you are very selective of the people you broker animals for.

With regards to this last point, it was just recently brought to my attention that a few weeks ago you posted for sale one of the only two Paradox Sharp albinos known to exist. Can you confirm that rumor?

Daniel.... the reason I called it "paradox" was at the owner's request because it had brown blotches all over it.... the new owner I sold it to is exstatic about it and he loves it, along with the other one of the opposite sex I sold him with it!

And yes, I have been getting VERY particular with the animals I buy and sell, and who I sell animals for.... you WON'T see any bad guys posts anymore because there will never be any more problems.... believe it or not....

The paradox condition is a well known trait that apparently appears at random in albino snakes. It is characterized by jet black (melanism) and not brown areas. Even if the owner asked you to label that animal as a paradox you should have refused to do so. The coment came from a person who knew very well that only two Sharp paradoxs have been produced so far, both in California. You can probably imagine the price tag on those. Granted the person who paid you for that boa probably knew it was not a paradox but a regular albino, but that's beyond the point.

What an insightful presentation by a well respected member of the herp community. It is difficult to argue with hard facts like those shown by Mr. Lawson above. I am always thankful for the folks of such high moral fiber who come and lend some credibility to a hot new topic (it's only been 3 years since the last post)when it is so hard to decide which side is right. Thanks for shedding some light Dave. Your tidbits of important evidence will be missed.
