    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

When I first read Lucille's post, I thought that someone named hellbound was calling Pete...which would be wrong...went back and read some past posts and realized that it WAS pete !!!
No wonder he wanted our home information...

Mr. Perez called my home after midnight last night. I told him in no uncertain terms that I did not appreciate him calling me at that hour and waking up my wife. I then hung up the phone. He continued to continuously ring the number for several hours. I just unplugged the phone.

If he continues, I will file a harrassment charge with the phone company. Quite frankly, I really don't want to waste any of my valuable time talking to you at all, for any reason. Especially at midnight.

In any event, when you read this Mr. Perez, please note that I do not condone what someone posts on this site. I simply have this site here for them to post on. What they post, as long as it is within the rules I have set in place, remains no matter what anyone says about it. As far as copyright infringement is concerned, I suggest that you research the definition of what that actually is before you accuse people of criminal acts. Accusing someone of a criminal act that is false is one of the few black and white examples that exist of libel.

Perhaps the drama could be decreased and there could be a focus on how this person will affect the reptile community by his actions. The BOI is a tool to help the reptile community make purchasing decisions; I for one would never purchase or be involved in any business way with Pete Perez after reading what he has done to the community, to people on this board, and to Webslave.

Lucille, you are correct. Some of the posts I made do not belong on the board, and should have been pm's instead...but I do believe that them main thrust of the issue has been Pete's willingness to make up whatever story covers his ass for the moment, and his attitude seems to be "to hell with everything else, what about ME?"...

He flip flops between issues, offering apology after apology, then the truth surfaces (as it always does) and it turns out that he is lying through his teeth...over, and over, and over... he goes from having one crotalid, to asking questions about bruminating pairs of scutulatus, etc...to illegal shipping, to illegal trade...

This guy is a train wreck.

Im sorry to hear that lil petey has decided to invade Webslaves home with repeated unwanted phone calls. I hope that he notifies his local Police Department as well as the Bakersfield Police Department of the situation as soon as possible. People ranting and raving on this and other forums is one thing, but he has taken this to another level and should be dealt with accordingly

Why would you file a harrassment charge with the phone company? That would not do anything. You have to file a criminal charge for harrassment with your local or municipal police department. Calling after 12 a.m. and numerous times is pretty bad. Then he made you unplug your phone. What if someone had to contact you in an emergency?

I think that one of the things that bothered me the most was that I was trying to be constructive and help Pete, I believed him. I believed that the guys here on the BOI were being just a little bit too harsh on him. I never said anything bad about him. And, after all of that, he goes and puts me on some list to be "apprehended" (by whom?)

Pete, if you're reading this, I want you to understand your actions in a brighter light. Your whole controversy that sprang up over Christmas time was during one of the lowest points of my life. I was going in to the doctor's office for multiple tests, something was wrong, and they weren't sure what. I was realizing that life is too short for petty squabbles and too precious to waste. I wanted to believe the best of you, and see you turn yourself around. I wanted the guys here to later on eat crow as you blossomed into the person you COULD HAVE BECOME had you chosen to follow the right pathway.

But no, you couldn't do that.

The other day I came home from seeing a surgeon. I big ol' chunk of me is going to be removed, and when I asked the doctor if she thought I had cancer, she looked me in the eye, and while her mouth phrased all sorts of "maybes, and probabilities" her eyes told me the truth. I found out about your asinine and petty antics while I was reeling from the knowledge that in all likelihood I have cancer, that I have to have surgery, that I might DIE. How DARE you slap me in the face like that? When all I EVER wanted, was to believe the best about you...

You are scum. Perhaps you ought to put some wings on and fly into one of those webs ... let one of your spiders take care of you like they take care of other pests.

It's probably nothing.

But not knowing, and having my life and body disrupted, that is driving me batty. Sometimes I get very emotional and lash out at my family. I was feeling that way and decided that if anyone deserved to be lashed out AT it was Pete.
