I'm curious to see if silent noise is indeed lil' petey perez of beyond the web. I got this email this morning from silent noise but it's signed by lil' petey.
Has anyone done business with this guy? Does anyone know who he might be? Other than lil' petey himself?
He did inquire about some snakes I had for sale and wanted to know where to send payment. When I gave him my paypal address he never contacted me again until this morning.
Hey, is it breach of contract if you tell someone in writing you'll buy their stuff and then back out? Well, lawboy, there ya go.
I have one further comment at the bottom of this post.

Re: Misinterpretation of Facts
To Whom It May Concern:
We are counsel to Beyond the Web, the Bakersfield-based educational
program featuring many of the world’s most amazing arachnids. We write
concerning your announced intention of distributing false statements in
the following Internet-based public forums; FaunaClassifieds.com,
SpiderTalk.net and the following allegations from December 2004 through
January 2005.
• supporting racial groups
• illegally possessing/collecting protected wildlife
• conducting illegal activities
We accordingly demand that you cease any plans or efforts to distribute
or publicly state the above-mentioned allegations.
There is no dispute that Peter Perez conducted one (1) illegal
transaction with Adam Quagliata, Canyon State Reptiles in Arizona. Be also
aware that authorities in both the California State Fish & Game and United
States Fish & Wildlife have been notified and addressed of such issue
and can be reached at your discretion. Beyond the Web has demanded that
Mr. Pollock cease distribution of such statements. Any further
statements regarding Beyond the Web’s unlawful activities, racial bias, and/or
other exploitation of such statements will constitute, among other
things, common law liabous/misappropriation, unfair competition, and unjust
enrichment rendering you and anyone engaged with you in such acts
liable for all of the remedies provided by relevant laws. These remedies
include but are not limited to preliminary and permanent injunctive relief
as well as monetary and punitive damages necessary to remedy your
openly willful violation of Beyond the Web’s rights.
We accordingly demand you:
1. cease and desist from the actual or intended distribution,
misinterpretation, public statements or other exploitation of Beyond the Web's
business conduct;
2. identify the names and addresses of any other parties who have
engaged, or otherwise involved, in such conduct through the public use of
discussion forums, i.e. FaunaClassifieds.com and SpiderTalk.net; and
3. provide Beyond the Web with an accounting of all statements issued
through or by other means of such claim that have been distributed via
your website, either physically or digitally, and of all instances of
public forums.
In addition, we demand that you contact us immediately upon receipt of
such notification.
Unless we receive full and immediate compliance with these demands,
Beyond the Web will be forced to consider pursuing any and all available
remedies at law and in equity.
Nothing herein shall be deemed an admission or waiver of any rights or
remedies of Beyond the Web and/or its affiliates, all of which are
hereby expressly reserved.
Sincerely,
Peter Perez, Program Director
